"The hotel was located in a central location. Its near a big shopping. The room was clean and thoroughly clean daily. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When staying there, have dinner at Aurum at least once. It's a restaurant with good food great ambience and service."

"For the price of the hotel, we cannot demand too much. It's a good balance for price/value ratio. We had some problems at check in, but the duty manager solved the issue in a very good and patient manner. Thank you. "

"The room was clean and tidy, the temperature difference between day and night in Yoborg was large, there was floor heating, and it was not cold at night. The hotel arranged for the driver to pick us up to the Chinese restaurant at night and the service was thoughtful. The garden in the hotel is well maintained, the green grass is very beautiful."

"I have stayed at the Quatermain before, and I am happy to say that the whole experience was once again just lovely! I had arrived VERY early on my check-in day and the staff made sure that I had a room well before the scheduled check-in time AND they upgraded me too! The staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful and all round just a delight!! Even with the ongoing challenges that loadshedding (scheduled power outtages) brings to the smooth operation of any business. The gardens are immaculate and tranquil, and it is unbelievable to think you are in the middle of everything with the peace and quiet that pervades. The little bistro / restaurant's menu is thankfully limited, as it means that the quality can be assured and anything that is made tastes deliciously homemade. The evening buffet is very good value for money! Just a small note that due to loadshedding, sometimes the email/booking system gives some issues - so don't forget to just follow up once booked :)"

"Well kept, clean with friendly stuff. The place is well situated within Sandton, not surrounded by noise yet easy to access other parts of the city. I highly recommend it for short and long term stays."
