The room was super cold at night with no heater and cannot adjust the aircond temperature. Its suitable for a short stay and its not that near to Airport Terminal 1. There is a mall Plaza Norte 2 and convenience store called Aldi across the hotel."

"Nice place to stay in Madrid! Host was very nice & kind, room quite clean and spacious. Bed very comfortable. Cleaning every day. Shower gel and soap provided (as well as towels). Shops, pharmacy, cafes - all just around the corner. Metro & cercanias 10 min by walk. Of course, this is quite away from the city center (1 hour by metro) , but I'm used to this and enjoyed this calm district. Definitely can recommend if you are looking for affordable accommodation in Madrid."

Nearby shopping strip has myriad restaurant choices, one of which, a tapas bar, sorry forgot the name, was excellent and very reasonably priced. But hotel charges €3 for a bottle of water...complimentary would have been nice, but I guess that's the norm in Europe...nothing free. "
