"The staff were friendly and helpful, check in was a breeze. Lovely atmosphere in the lobby, room was huge and spotless clean with an amazing view. The 360 bar is well worth a visit, it's got a spectacular view and they make great cocktails. Lovely pool and gym too, it's an amazing retreat in Louhu and it's so close to the border, which makes it such a worthwhile place to visit. Also, there were 5 different types of teabags to choose from in the room, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast buffet really surprised me with bacon, sausages and egges, which was amazing, but there's also Chinese food and vegetarian so it's a great buffet. Definitely want to go back!"

"The hotel is great, and the location is super convenient, just a 500-meter walk to Sea World. The rooms are spacious with complete amenities, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The shower is also excellent with strong water pressure. The only downside is that Shenzhen is quite humid, and since our room was on a lower floor, there was a slight musty smell. We ran the range hood for a long time, but it still lingered a bit."

"Excellent value, fantastic service, and a great location! I had a very pleasant stay at the Sentosa Taoyuan Hotel. This hotel is a hidden gem – it feels like a luxury boutique property but at a very reasonable price. The value for money is outstanding. The service truly made the difference. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. A special shout-out to the young lady at the front desk who checked me in; she kindly gave me a free upgrade to the ”Elegant Suite.” The suite was spacious and comfortable, complete with a kitchen and a very functional desk that made working remotely a breeze. She also went out of her way to help me print an important document, which I really appreciated. The Wi-Fi was fast and stable, perfect for video calls. The location is another big plus – it's close to Shenzhen University, Taoyuan metro station, and the Bank of China. There are also plenty of great dining options nearby, including authentic Chinese restaurants and even a Burger King for a rare Western treat. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Shenzhen. "I booked this last minute and got a surprisingly good deal and was even upgraded to a superior king room which comes with a bathtub. Room was spacious. Though there were obvious signs of aging e.g. towels fraying and mildew around the bathtub, everything was generally clean. Location was near huaqiangbei though i did not go there. There were a few train station exits for line 1, 9, 11 nearby about 5 to 10mins walk and there were buses to CBD and nanshan too. My only gripe is that the air-conditioning was freezing cold despite raising it to 30deg! Had to get an additional blanket from housekeeping"

"Traveling with a child, I prioritized convenience. The hotel's pool on the 3rd floor was perfect – not crowded and always had a lifeguard on duty. The location was great too, close to all the attractions, whether by metro or taxi. Overall, what really made this hotel experience stand out was the staff. Everyone, regardless of their role, was incredibly dedicated and friendly. For instance, Toey, who helped me check in, was super efficient and tried her best to get me into my room quickly, knowing I had an early flight and a child with me. Similarly, Leila, who assisted me when I decided to extend my stay, was very helpful. Even though it's an older hotel, the staff's warmth and enthusiasm really made up for it! 👍"

"This business trip, I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Gooday, and the overall experience was incredibly pleasant. I absolutely have to commend Joy, the concierge. Joy is wonderfully kind and approachable. When I was checking in, she noticed I often work at a desk, so she proactively upgraded me to an executive deluxe king room. The room had an excellent orientation, far from noisy hallway areas, and the soundproofing was superb. Whether I was working during the day or resting at night, it was exceptionally peaceful. The entire room was spotlessly clean and tidy, and the workspace was ample, with plenty of room for my laptop and documents without feeling cramped. The hotel's location is also excellent, making it very convenient for business meetings. Joy is genuinely sincere and her service is attentive without being overly formal or intrusive. Her perfectly timed thoughtfulness really helped alleviate the fatigue of a busy business trip. My overall stay was very comfortable, and I will definitely choose this hotel again for future business in the area."

"An absolutely wonderful experience! I've stayed here many times, and I always love the service. They're so generous with water bottles – they replenish them as fast as I drink them! The main thing is, I wanted something light to eat late at night, and they had exactly what I needed: millet porridge, meat porridge, steamed buns, pastries, 6 different side dishes, and delicious fruit. The fruit was clearly hand-picked; the oranges and cantaloupe were both incredibly sweet and fresh. More importantly, my husband got sick with a cold during our stay. It was past midnight, and as a foreigner, I had no idea where to find a clinic. The front desk was incredibly thoughtful and provided me with a thermometer and a fever patch. However, his high fever was stubborn. So, I asked the front desk to help me get some medicine, and it was delivered to my room in less than 15 minutes! After taking the medicine and resting, he was completely recovered by the next day. I'm so grateful for the attentive front desk staff who helped me buy the medicine. I even went online to research which brand of fever medicine was definitely available in Shenzhen, and the front desk was so efficient in getting it. Thank you to all the staff; you guys are truly amazing! 🥰🥰"

"Clean and big room. Amazing hotel choice for staying in Shenzhen. Swimming pool is wonderful. Gym is great and they offered guests free group classes before 19 o’clock.
