"Excellent view both in the room and the 5th floor bath. It was great to take a bath and watch Fuji mountain early in the mornin on the 5th floor. On the 1st floor the self-served wine selection allows you to try various wines at budget price. Both breakfast and afternoon welcome drink were surprisingly nice. I would remain my choice if I visit again."

"The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle bus to and from Kawaguchiko Station, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The view was simply unbeatable—we could see Mount Fuji right from our room. Our stay included both dinner and breakfast, and we were lucky enough to visit on a perfectly clear day, so we got an unobstructed view of Fuji in all its glory. It was one of those moments that made the trip truly unforgettable. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and spoke English well, which made everything even smoother and more enjoyable. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our trip, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Stayed at The Gran Resort Princess Fujikawaguchiko and had a great overall experience. The room was very spacious, and I like that they offer mostly twin and triple bed setups, which feel comfortable and practical. The best part is that every room has a view of Mt. Fuji, which makes the stay really special. The onsen was also very nice—clean, relaxing, and a great way to unwind after a day out. Service was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Food was decent, nothing too standout but still enjoyable. Location-wise, it worked well for me since I rented a car. However, it might be less convenient if you rely on public transport. Overall, a great stay if you want space, a good onsen, and a guaranteed Fuji view."

"Excellent! Made my trip so enjoyable!!! The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive. I was pleasantly surprised to find amenities like hair curlers for women. The room was a bit small but very well-designed. It rained on my second day, and it was so relaxing to sit on the bed by the window and listen to the rain. There are gogo share-bikes available for rent right outside the hotel. They're a bit pricey, but the convenience of being able to return them right at the hotel entrance beats having to go to a rental spot at the scenic area. The hotel is just a stone's throw from a shopping mall and close to other restaurants, making dining very convenient. The hotel also offers a complimentary and very rich breakfast. Fuji-Q Highland amusement park is also nearby, about a 10-minute walk away. I absolutely must commend one of the ladies at the front desk – she was so lovely and friendly!!! She seemed like a happy, sunny person! She had such a cute smile! I really liked her! (I'm a girl, this is a compliment, not harassment! 🫶🏻) The only downside is that the hotel is a bit of a walk from Kawaguchiko Station, about 20 minutes on foot, and there isn't a very convenient bus service. However, walking through the nearby residential area, with its quiet and clean streets, is quite pleasant. And walking back to the hotel with Mount Fuji directly in front of you is a lovely experience too. 🥰"

"Most accommodations around Lake Kawaguchiko are guesthouses, so if you want something more comfortable and convenient, a hotel is a better choice. While nearly 500 a night isn't cheap, it's acceptable given the location and included breakfast. You can catch the hotel shuttle from the parking lot to the right of Kawaguchiko Station. Check-in via the self-service machine was seamless, and you can also store your luggage in the lobby. The room wasn't huge but it was very clean. It's about 1.3 km from Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge, and you can enjoy panoramic views of Mount Fuji if you walk there – it's absolutely stunning!"

"The hotel has an onsite outdoor and indoor Onsen. Our room is 25sq m and spacious. The layout of the room is separated into sleeping area and entrance with basic amenities. This hotel is supposed to be able to view the beautiful Mr Fuji but because it has been raining and cloudy the past few days, we were not able to see Mt Fuji from this hotel but our room faces the great ocean and that was good. The breakfast spread was great with a wide spread of many varieties.  I was hoping for a late night snack of Hot ramen soup as with many Japanese hotels with Onsen but sadly this hotel don’t provide this service."

"Hotel Room: Features a built-in sauna, and offers stunning views of Mount Fuji directly from the room. Fuji appears incredibly large and close to the naked eye. The room decor is very tasteful. Hotel Location: Situated on the lower-left side of Lake Yamanakako on the map. There's a bus stop right outside (though buses are infrequent). Within a 2-minute walk, there's a delicious hamburg steak restaurant. A 7-Eleven is about 5-10 minutes away, and you can rent bicycles near the 7-Eleven (the hotel also offers bike rentals, but they are mountain bikes, not electric, costing 2000 yen per hour or 4000 yen per day). If you walk another 10-15 minutes, you can feed swans in a designated area managed by locals (a family of three needs to buy one portion of swan food for 200 yen). Cycling: From the hotel, it takes about 30-50 minutes to cycle to Hirano no Hama (there are many great photo spots along the way, so you don't necessarily have to go all the way to Hirano no Hama, where the wind is incredibly strong). I recommend cycling clockwise on the map and then returning the same way."
