Delighted! Impressed! A spacious house with everything you could need for a country getaway. The views of the lake from the bedroom are stunning.

Room: You can see Mount Fuji, and the room is fully equipped, even with an indoor fireplace. All the fragrances are pine-scented. View: The garden is quite small, with a camping-style vibe. Compared to the exquisite gardens in Kyoto and Nara, it's a bit less refined, but it's a different style, so it's not really a fair comparison. It really depends on personal preference. Location: It's about a 10-minute walk uphill from the Maple Corridor to Lake Kawaguchiko. There are no convenience stores near the hotel; you have to walk downhill towards Lake Kawaguchiko to find one. However, the public bath offers free ice cream and a water bar! Food: Dinner was an elaborate kaiseki meal that took two hours to finish. Breakfast was a Japanese-style meal, and both were very substantial.

Environment: The hotel should be converted from a private villa. The location is relatively remote in Kawaguchiko, and you need to take a taxi back and forth, but the environment is quiet. Facilities: Since it is an old villa, the hardware facilities are relatively old, but it was considered top-notch in the 1980s and 1990s. The sound insulation is relatively poor, but fortunately the room is large enough and the room I booked is equipped with two indoor and outdoor hot spring pools. The outdoor private hot spring pool is available 24 hours a day, and it is worthy of natural hot spring water, which is very refreshing. Here, it may be emphasized to Chinese tourists who cannot rent a car that the pick-up and drop-off time of this hotel is fixed, so free tourists are unlikely to enjoy round-trip pick-up and drop-off, so there will be taxi costs. It costs at least 200 yuan to take a taxi to and from Kawaguchiko. Overall, for tourists who want to soak in hot springs, this hotel is very good in terms of price-performance ratio.

We stayed in the traditional room which we wanted to try. It was a fun experience but not one to do if you have a bad back. The onsen is nice, there were 3 communal onsens and the one cold plunge in the ladies section. All pools were a bit small and could probably hold 6-8 ppl max. The hotel offered free refreshment drinks before 5pm after that there are vending machines in the lobby of the onsen. There's a shuttle every hour to the station in town which is convenient but would be better if they ran every 30mins. Staff are very kind and professional. I asked for towels as larger robes which arrived instantly. The hotel doesn't have anything nearby so be prepared to use bikes, scooters the shuttle or your own car

Amazing beautiful hostel with Mount Fuji view rooms. Affordable. We stayed at a double room and it felt very comfortable and spacious! Especially loved the begging and the light in the room. Convenient kitchen amenities, all is thoroughly cleaned and maintained! Very nice staff, really helpful and polite. Great coffee at their caffe (not so much the food though). Although most of the rooms were occupied at the time of our stay,It didn’t feel crowded or busy, more like peaceful and enjoyable! Great location, close to the station but kind of secluded . All in all, very pleasant experience staying at a hostel!

This is my second time here. The hotel is nestled at the foot of the mountain, very quiet and secluded. The only downside is that the supermarket next to the hotel closes at 5 PM, so I couldn't buy any local specialties. They said Alipay was accepted, but it didn't work. The front desk staff seemed quite untrained; they couldn't even handle a simple payment. The room, as always, was excellent. It would be even better if they added a Bluetooth speaker.

Warm and cozy place to recharge yourself after a visit in the Kawaguchiko area. All amenities and facilities are just perfectly clean and easily accessible, while they are keeping some of the Japanese customs which adds more elements in your stay. Host and staff were extremely friendly and attentive, just right by your side whenever you need them. Deffo recommend without reservation if you’re visiting Kawaguchiko soon.

The hotel is indeed aging but remains charming! It offers typical Japanese rooms and rooms with beds and all of them are tidy and well maintained! The manager of the establishment is adorable and very accommodating. Breakfast is ok! The soup is a treat! Be careful because the restaurant does not offer dinner (at least during our stay). The only negative point is the distance from the “center” but buses pass regularly (except in the evening!).

This hotel is designed in Japanese style, with tatami beds. The room is very large. The hotel must be a certain age, but it has complete facilities, including hot springs, restaurants, shops and bathing rooms. The room does not have a bathroom, only a toilet. Go there There are public bathrooms for bathing. It is best to drive by yourself when staying in this hotel, because it is quite far from the city. It is also very close to Kawaguchi Lake by car. The hotel can see Mount Fuji. It is very pleasant to have breakfast while admiring Mount Fuji.
