We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The property is very new, modern, and exceptionally well maintained. The room was equipped with everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen that made our stay very convenient. One of the highlights was the spacious bathroom with a fantastic soaking tub, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. We were also pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful complimentary gifts — fireworks, soft drinks, and even a beautiful Mount Fuji-themed cake waiting for us in the room. These small touches made our stay feel extra special. The only downside is that the hotel is about a 13-minute walk from the nearest station, which may be a little inconvenient if you are carrying luggage. However, the excellent facilities, comfort, and hospitality more than make up for it. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I plan to stay two nights near Mount Fuji. I filtered accommodations by positive reviews and found this newly opened lodge. Almost all reviews were good, with not a single negative comment, and when I saw it was run by a Chinese owner, I booked it immediately. The location is super convenient, just a three to five-minute walk from the station. The entire lodge is brand new and spotless, with lots of Chinese calligraphy hanging inside, which made it feel very welcoming. The dining area is quite spacious, equipped with an ice maker, microwave, and instant noodles for purchase. A 7-Eleven is about a ten-minute walk away. The scenery is incredible. I just checked in tonight and I'm really looking forward to seeing Mount Fuji's snowscape tomorrow morning. I'll share photos then. The lighting design throughout the lodge is also very thoughtful, creating a great ambiance. The owner is from Zhejiang, and he's incredibly reliable. When traveling abroad, it's common to lose signal on your phone, so you can only communicate via messages. The owner's replies were quick and his information was accurate, which is truly rare when staying away from home. The room is very spacious and immaculately clean, and the furniture like tables and chairs is still new. But I have to emphasize this! In all my time in Japan, this is the first time I've encountered such a spacious bathroom; I absolutely love it! The kettle, and all bathroom amenities are fully provided, making for a comfortable stay. The lodge also offers vehicle rentals: electric scooters and electric bikes for 2000 yen a day, and regular bicycles for 1000 yen a day, which is excellent value for money! Most outside rentals require scanning QR codes for registration, which is a complicated process and hard to manage. Here, you can rent directly at the front desk, which saves so much hassle. This is a huge plus! This was a self-funded stay, with no cooperation or advertising fees; these are my genuine, heartfelt feelings. If you're a Chinese friend reading this, please give it a like! I am so grateful to be able to book a room with Hotel New Century during our stay on 23/3-24/3/26. It was a great and wonderful experience for our family. We were warmed welcome by the staffs and were served with excellent food and services. We felt very satisfied with the dinner and breakfast that provided by the hotel and served by the staffs, especially I can’t forget the senior lady who served us, thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality service. We also felt very grateful and excited as the view from the hotel room was stunning, where we can view the Mt Fuji right infront of the room window, and it was so beautiful!! Thanks to the hotel for giving us an unforgettable memories, we will definitely come again and stay here, also we will recommend this hotel to my friends who will visit here.

Pros: 1. The Mt. Fuji view was perfect. The cleanliness and condition of the facilities were absolutely fine, even exceeding expectations. It's much better than some older, traditional hotels with Mt. Fuji views, offering excellent value for money at this price point. 2. The hotel service was also great. From the front desk to the restaurant staff and the housekeepers, everyone offered service with a smile. Perhaps because it was the off-season, another couple checking in at the same time received a room upgrade. The hotel also provides a convenient shuttle service from Kawaguchiko Station. 3. The restaurant staff were very professional. While the sukiyaki for dinner wasn't a huge surprise, it was decent and had no flaws. 4. It's only a few hundred meters from Oishi Park, which is easily walkable. Compared to other attractions, it's a bit more niche, but the scenery is beautiful and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Cons: 1. It's quite a distance from Kawaguchiko Station, making it a bit far from other attractions. 2. You can't see Mt. Fuji at night due to the lack of light (which isn't the hotel's fault). 3. All rooms are non-smoking, and the small open space in front of the hotel with Mt. Fuji views is also a non-smoking area. There's only a small designated smoking area at the back entrance of the hotel. As a smoker, it's a bit inconvenient, but completely understandable and acceptable. 4. Also, there are no convenience stores or supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel. The Oishi Store listed on Apple Maps is actually closed. 5. To reach the hotel, you have to walk up a relatively long slope. It can be a bit tiring if you're on foot, but once you're down the slope, you're right by Lake Kawaguchiko, and there are very few people. Overall, the hotel is excellent. If you're staying with a partner, you can take a walk along Lake Kawaguchiko below the hotel. With Mt. Fuji right in front of you, the atmosphere is romantic and there are few people around. Highly recommended.

The room is a comfortable size and offers a lovely view of Mount Fuji from the corner. It is clean and well equipped, with individual air-conditioning in the room. All the staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The hotel also has onsen facilities, including separate male and female as well as private onsen. Parking is available, located a short distance from the hotel.

Stayed here for two nights the first half was fairly pleasant, room was big with unobstructed view of lake kawaguchi and mt fuji. However the second night we found a huge spider in our toilet room and we called the front desk for help but there was no staff member as it’s not a 24hr service hotel only two securities were there; the staff all went home. So we had to play hide and seek with the spider and took us 3 hours to kill it and finally have a good nights sleep. Told the staff about it the next day and they just acknowledged it and did nothing which was very disappointing for a so called 5 star hotel

Last minute booking and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The cabin was extremely spacious, well equipped, warm, and comfortable. Lots of room for our family of five to spread out! We also all loved the PJs! The location is excellent with onsite parking and even a small onsen. We didn’t take the breakfast or BBQ option but had everything needed to cook for ourselves. Best of all was the view - despite the rainy day, Mt Fuji made a guest appearance late in the evening, which we could enjoy right from our cabin.

We really enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the generous room sizes with private balconies, and the quality of the onsen and sauna. Mt Fuji is literally right outside your balcony. We got to see the sunrise and the few moments when the mountain appeared. The breakfast which is included in our reservation provides a good selection of food, which is a great addition to the stay. That said, the hotel’s current operational policies are quite inflexible and impacted our trip. The shuttle bus hours (8:00 AM–11:00 AM outbound) are too limited for those of us hoping to visit major attractions early in the day. Furthermore, the handling of the shuttle schedule felt overly strict; we were one minute late (I’m not kidding… we sat on the van at 9:01am for our 9:00am reservation) due to a quickly resolved checkout issue and were immediately called out for it, which created a tense atmosphere. Similarly, requiring guests to commit to a specific breakfast time at check-in and that all party come together as it is written in one breakfast “ticket” is unusual and challenging for those looking for a relaxing, schedule-free vacation. We believe that softening these rigid policies would greatly improve the guest experience. Despite these logistical points, the location is a major plus, as it is within easy reach of a popular Hoto Fudo restaurant and a mall. The price point is also extremely reasonable when you factor in all the amenities and that breathtaking Mt. Fuji view. I would still highly recommend this property for families looking for a comfortable base near Mt. Fuji.

Pros: 1. The room was huge! 2. You get a full view of Mount Fuji right from the balcony window. 3. The staff were super friendly, and they even had Chinese-speaking staff members. 4. The hot springs on the fifth floor have both indoor and outdoor options. You can enjoy the views of Mount Fuji while you soak. 5. Both breakfast and dinner provided by the hotel were surprisingly delicious, and there was a good variety too. 6. They offer a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station. Just make sure to look for the shuttle with three hotel names printed on it. You'll need to remember the hotel's English name to identify it correctly, otherwise, you might end up waiting a long time at the station. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Mount Fuji!

The rooms were clean, and the dinner and breakfast included in our stay were delicious. We could see Mount Fuji from the restaurant, our room, and even while soaking in the hot spring. Plus, there's free parking right across from the hotel.
