Romantic Hotels in Paris

Although we requested for high floor to celebrate our engagement and got a room at level 1, the view was still worth it! The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Room service was delicious but took about 1.5 hours for it to arrive which we thought was too long as we were famished. Nonetheless, the staff were very friendly.

Friendly staff and convenient. Great location with lots to choose from and near the shopping centers and popular restaurants. Newly renovated apartments with air-conditioning and mini kitchens for quiet evenings.

I would like to mention the Staff! Mathieu Boutrus went over and beyond to help us out. No task to big or small. Also the rest of the staff that we came into contact with included Camille, Sarah and Camille. There was also the night time Staff which I did not get their names. All of which did an outstanding job. Several things that are important to us is the comfort of the mattress( slept like a baby) the water pressure in the shower 🚿 Great ! Pillows and duvet were so comfortable as well. Their breakfast was delicious too !

Wonderful location, easy access to public transport and can walk to many Paris central sights. Rooms are quiet and clean, perfect for couples and small families. Great friendly staff. Super clean! Loved our stay! This is a classic Paris boutique hotel meaning amenities aren't hyper modern but rather classical. It's a beautiful place and the view to St.Sulpice is really high on my list now. Staff speaks many languages and always have something interesting to share. Restaurants around are great too.

The location of this hotel was very good, just around the corner from a metro station, within easy walking distance from the Opera and transport from the airport, and good restaurants, bars and a small supermarket very close by. We had booked a Classic room which was on the top floor and along one side of the room, there were the eaves which made it very difficult to get around the bed, you could easily bang your head if you forgot to duck down and we did. There was only one small wardrobe and we struggled for space a little, the same in the bathroom with not enough shelf space for toiletries etc. The design of the units could have been planned better. We had booked a breakfast package in the deal, but when we arrived, they told us that only breakfast for one person had been booked as there was only one name on the booking. It does clearly say that breakfast for 2 persons each day was included and that was written on the printout that I showed them and on the booking confirmation online but I took their word for it and we had to pay again. I should have checked again more properly myself on the paper. So now we have the hassle of trying to claim this back from the hotel. We chose this hotel mainly for the pool and spa facilities, which were very welcoming after lots of walking about in the day and located in the basement with a small gym room and the breakfast area which was well stocked with a good choice of foods. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and you felt at ease but I felt that the price was a little too high for the standard of the hotel and room that we had.

We had a fab holiday staying at the Hyatt Regency Paris. The hotel is typical of most Hyatt chains around the world. Very clean, efficient with nice bar & restaurant. The view fr the skybar was fabulous as well as fr our room. But to me the star of the hotel is the staff. They are friendly, most accommodating and go all out to make your stay a happy one ….fr the reception, concierge to the waiters and doormen. Their housekeeper broke my sons perfume, and they left a note to apologise & said they will get a replacement. They searched everywhere for the brand but couldnt find it. They repeatedly apologise & asked what they can do. They gave chocolates to my daughter. We told them it was ok but the chief concierge, Oliver Mordelet insisted. In the end he gave us a free vip taxi to our train station and waived the extra charge for late check-up. We were so touched by their genuine kindness and professionalism. We have been to Paris many times but this is the first time we felt so welcome. Thank you so much staff of Hyatt Regency Etolie. We will be back for sure!!!!

Everything about this hotel was good, except for a non-functional AC. I know it is Paris and most hotels do not even have an AC. But when you come back after a hectic day, the room feels very stuffy and claustrophobic without AC. When I complained at the front desk about this, she told me to open the window. And not only that, I was asked to sign on a form which says that I asked the hotel to open the window and if anything worst happens, I am responsible. Really ! This was a uniquely weird experience first time in my entire travel history across many countries. Why cannot the hotel staff mention about this up front to all guests rather than waiting for them to complain? Location: Perfect ! The hotel is directly attached to the Gare De Lyon train station. Literally attached. We arrived in Paris by train from Zurich and were initially wondering about carrying our luggage. But it was just 2-3 minutes from getting down from the train in Hall-2 to the front desk of the hotel. Very very convenient. Even when we were roaming around Paris city, getting to the destination and getting back to the hotel was super easy. In most cases, Gare De Lyon is the starting point or the last point on the bus or the train. I highly recommend this hotel for the location. Besides, you have every kind of shop, restaurants, cafes and what not at the Gare De Lyon station. So need not worry about buying stuff or going out to eat as a last minute plan. Food: Decent food. Good taste and good spread. We found the breakfast at Novotel Paris slightly better than Novotel Zurich. I can compare because we came from Novotel Zurich to Novotel Paris. The number of items in the breakfast were lesser but the taste and choice of dishes was slightly better. But Novotel Zurich is a far better hotel in all other aspects. Room: Besides the AC problem mentioned above, there was another minor issue. The bathroom is by default completely transparent. You have to press a button inside to make the glass opaque. But even this is not 100% opaque but it is acceptable. Lastly, the bathroom door has no lock, which is also ok, as no one would just walk-in inside a bathroom. The size of the room was actually good, considering the kind of rooms you find in Paris. Three of us were able to sleep, walk around and keep our luggage comfortably in the room, so no complaints about the size of the room. Overall, I would rate 3.5/5 for this hotel. I hope they fix the AC problem and it can be very close to 5 star rating.

The room is a bit small and crowded, and I can barely walk with so much luggage. The service is pretty good. At least I am responsive to all requests. They are very enthusiastic when greeting and helping. However, the breakfast has very few types and is not very delicious. The price is very high during fashion week. It's outrageous.

The hotel was very good. We stayed for 5 nights. The front desk and service staff were very warm. We also prepared a welcome card in the room before check-in. I really didn't expect it. The hotel is very new, the facilities are very good, the decoration also has its own small tone, although the room is small, can barely spread a 28-inch suitcase, but the cleaning is very clean every day. The soundproofing of the hotel is also very good. The small bar downstairs will have resident singing at night, and the room can't be heard. Breakfast is not bad, the neighborhood feels very safe, very close to the subway station bus station, it is very convenient to go anywhere, overall very satisfied ～
