"The hotel's location is pretty good. It's on a main street, close to Yiyuan dim sum restaurant and the Siwang Pavilion ancient building. Getting around by car is also convenient, and the hotel has its own parking lot. They upgraded my room for free, which was spacious, clean, and had a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The bedding was also odorless.
However, the hairdryer was only 800 watts, which made drying my hair a bit of a struggle.
The breakfast taste was just okay; the coffee wasn't freshly ground and seemed like instant 2-in-1 powder."

"An excellent stay experience.
Facilities: The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable with two large pillows, perfect for watching TV.
Environment: The environment was clean and hygienic, and the view from the window was great; you could see the Grand Canal directly.
Service: The hotel staff were all very enthusiastic and provided exceptionally thoughtful service. My child wasn't feeling well in the middle of the night, and we troubled customer service to help change the bedding, which we truly appreciate. The breakfast had a rich variety and tasted great. Thumbs up for the Yangchun noodles!👍🏻"

GGuest UserThis was my first time in Yangzhou, and I'm so glad I booked this Mercure hotel. From the moment I walked in, all the staff were incredibly warm and polite. The hotel is conveniently located right by Dongguan Street, making it easy to get around, and there's parking available downstairs if you're driving. We were even given a complimentary room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise! The upgraded room had an amazing view; I could see the Grand Canal directly from the balcony. The room also had many thoughtful little touches, like a toilet seat cover and face towels. After checking out, I accidentally left something behind, and the hotel proactively called me and arranged to mail it back. My overall experience with both Yangzhou and the Mercure hotel was absolutely fantastic!

CCao·qianliThe service at Zhenyuan Hotel is simply unparalleled. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted with local specialty yogurt and escorted to our room. They meticulously explained all the in-room facilities and services, including their unique laundry service – simply place your clothes in the designated basket, and they’ll be collected daily, washed, dried, and returned to your room.
The room felt fresh and spacious. The hotel's strict no-smoking policy and lack of an in-house restaurant further ensured a clean air environment. Besides the king-size bed, there was a desk, a tea table, a mini-fridge, and a kettle. Two chairs flanked a round table by the window.
The bathroom boasted modern amenities, including a smart toilet and a spacious shower with a rainfall showerhead. The toiletries were all high-quality products, and the towels were thick, soft cotton.
Zhenyuan Hotel is centrally located in Yangzhou. A short walk along the Xiao Qinhuai River path leads directly to the Caiyi Street-Dongguan Street commercial and tourist hub, where you can find everything you need for dining, entertainment, and shopping.
Overall, even giving Zhenyuan Hotel a five-star rating doesn't fully express how satisfied we were with our four-day stay.

GGuest UserThe environment is elegant, quiet, and surrounded by lush trees, lawns, and a river. The location is superb, very close to the city center and Slender West Lake. The in-house dining is top-notch; the Quyuan morning tea lives up to its reputation, and the Ju restaurant's cooking is excellent. Building 8 has the most central location, Building 18 is very new and refined, and Building 11 offers great value for money, even including hot springs and a travel photoshoot. The family rooms are also quite good.

AALian1113I finally made it to Yangzhou in March, just as the fireworks bloom! I'm so glad I chose to stay at the Jingting Hotel by Slender West Lake. The hotel has a great overall ambiance – it's clean, tidy, and perfectly located, very close to Slender West Lake. It’s also convenient for visiting other attractions. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Definitely a thumbs up!

MManamaoThe hotel is conveniently located near Dongguan Street, right next to Ge Garden, making it easy to access transport and local amenities. The rooms are housed in a two-story wooden building, encircling a charming courtyard with a miniature rock garden. While the rooms themselves are clean, the bathroom is a bit on the small side. The service was incredibly thoughtful; staff even helped us with laundry. The owner was exceptionally hospitable and warm; he not only used an electric cart to assist with our luggage but also gave us a ride to a nearby place for a local morning tea. We noticed the diamond-patterned door didn't block out much light, but when we mentioned it to the owner, he immediately took care of it. He also generously shared recommendations for many authentic Yangzhou restaurants favored by locals, helping us avoid any tourist traps.

GGuest UserThe place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.

GGuest UserThe room is quite old, especially the bathroom facilities. The soundproofing is also very poor; you can hear every door opening and closing down the entire hallway. When you turn on the shower in the bathroom, there's a strange noise, like a jackhammer during renovation. It was a really bad experience.
Since I got back to the hotel quite late that night and only discovered the issue after showering and turning on the water, it was almost 11 PM. I asked the hotel what they could do, and they said they'd need to find a maintenance worker to check it out and then report to their manager. Wouldn't that whole back-and-forth take at least an hour?
I just gave up, endured the night, and left the next morning. For anyone considering staying here, proceed with caution.

AAnonymous UserFacilities: There is an air purifier in the middle of the two rooms in the super in place. The bathtub in the room, the table, the air purifier, the projector, let alone the superb. I have lived in so many hotels. The three sides are really the ceiling! ! !

Environment: Surrounded by the downtown area, there are food and play. It is difficult to park there, but the hotel has its own parking lot. It is really key! ! And there are kittens in the hotel. Super handsome. When you see people, you will come.
Service: We stayed at night. The front desk lady was very good. She also took me to park the car in the parking lot. Various problems will be solved as soon as possible. The emotional value is full.
