"My stay at the Furong Garden, Building 8, at Yangzhou Xiyuan Hotel was fantastic overall. As hotels with ”Xiyuan” (meaning 'guesthouse' or 'reception hall') in their name often are, the environment truly lived up to its reputation. The garden landscape is beautiful; it felt like I was living right in a park, and morning and evening strolls were incredibly pleasant. Building 8 is relatively new, with elegant and sophisticated decor. The room was spacious and bright, the hygiene details were well taken care of, and the bedding was comfortable, leading to a very peaceful night's sleep. The service also deserves praise. After booking, the staff were all very warm and professional, and any requests were generally met promptly. The breakfast selection was rich, and the local Yangzhou specialties at Quyuan were very authentic and definitely worth trying. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit Slender West Lake. It offers both the tranquility of a garden hotel and the convenience of easy access. If you're visiting Yangzhou for travel or a family vacation, Building 8 comes highly recommended. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Yangzhou."

"My journey started in Shantou in 2025, and I've been eyeing the UrCove Hotel. The quality and standards of Hyatt-affiliated hotels are consistently impressive. This particular location is a bit out of the way; if you want to walk to Dongguan Street or Ge Garden, it's a walk of over half an hour, so taking a taxi would be more convenient. The hotel is relatively new, and even though the road outside was under maintenance, my room on the quieter side wasn't disturbed at all. The hotel even left two pairs of silent earplugs by the bed, which was a thoughtful touch. Their standard room amenities are all very satisfying: the wet/dry separation in the bathroom, either a Laifen or Dyson hairdryer (depending on the room type), bathrobes, and a Nespresso machine, among others. The shower water pressure was excellent, and the water temperature stable. Besides the air conditioning being too warm, there weren't any major issues. What truly stood out was their standard bedding: the mattress, which wasn't overly soft, and the memory foam pillow were the start of my good impression of their hotel chain. I'm quite particular about beds and pillows, and overly soft mattresses in traditional five-star hotels can lead to poor sleep or even nightmares for me. So, if you have similar needs, this is a great option to consider. While the hotel's breakfast is outsourced, both the variety and taste were excellent! There's also a Garden Teahouse breakfast spot just across the road. Although I didn't find it particularly amazing, it's convenient for early risers, as it opens at 6:30 AM. The hotel's laundry room and gym are on the first floor, laid out as a suite. Both areas are spacious, and the equipment is comprehensive. If you leave a note with your information after putting your clothes in, an auntie or the front desk will help dry them and deliver them to your room, which is very considerate. However, unlike some other hotels, the TV doesn't show the current status of the washing/drying service, but that's a minor point. The hotel is close to the Grand Canal. Sometimes, after dinner, we'd walk back to the hotel along the canal, which was a pleasant way to stroll and digest. The canal-side promenade is very well-developed. I'll definitely choose UrCove again on my next trip to Yangzhou; the experience was great! Please keep up the good work!"

Before our arrival, Manager Emma proactively contacted me to thoroughly inquire about our needs and even gave us some very helpful travel recommendations. During our stay, the floor staff were also particularly attentive to my elderly family members. We had a delightful experience throughout our entire stay."

"This was my first time in Yangzhou, and I'm so glad I booked this Mercure hotel. From the moment I walked in, all the staff were incredibly warm and polite. The hotel is conveniently located right by Dongguan Street, making it easy to get around, and there's parking available downstairs if you're driving. We were even given a complimentary room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise! The upgraded room had an amazing view; I could see the Grand Canal directly from the balcony. The room also had many thoughtful little touches, like a toilet seat cover and face towels. After checking out, I accidentally left something behind, and the hotel proactively called me and arranged to mail it back. My overall experience with both Yangzhou and the Mercure hotel was absolutely fantastic!"

"After checking online reviews before booking, I decided on this hotel. Upon checking in, it truly lived up to its reputation; the five-star ratings are absolutely spot on. From the welcoming staff to the lobby and even the cleaning crew, everyone was smiling and provided incredibly friendly service, making us feel right at home. We added our concierge, Xiao Z, on WeChat, and any requests we had were answered immediately, which made our trip much more convenient! The hotel's location is also excellent for getting around, with a bus stop just 100m from the entrance. It's super easy to get to Slender West Lake, Dongguan Street, the Grand Canal Museum, Vientiane City, and Impression City. This time, we opted not to have breakfast at the hotel, as there are so many fantastic local eateries nearby offering regional specialties. All in all, the top-notch service definitely deserves high praise. See you next time!"

"Choosing this hotel for my Yangzhou trip was absolutely the best decision! The experience was fantastic from the moment I arrived – the security guard proactively helped open the car door and carry my luggage, and the front desk staff were gentle and efficient, getting me checked in within 3 minutes. The room features smart voice control, and it's fully equipped with a Dyson hairdryer, smart toilet, and capsule coffee machine. The bedding was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed! The biggest surprise was the amazing balcony view; I could see the beautiful sunset in the evening! Room service deliveries are handled by a cute and convenient robot. The location is superb, very close to Slender West Lake and Dongguan Street. For breakfast, they even offered authentic Gaoyou salted duck eggs – rich and oily, perfect with white porridge! The parking lot also has charging stations, which is a huge plus for electric vehicles. Upon checkout, the butler even gifted me some Yangzhou Niupitang (a local candy) as a souvenir. A hotel with such perfect hardware, service, and attention to detail is truly rare in Jiangsu. I'll definitely be booking this place again on my next visit to Yangzhou! 💯"

"The environment is elegant, quiet, and surrounded by lush trees, lawns, and a river. The location is superb, very close to the city center and Slender West Lake. The in-house dining is top-notch; the Quyuan morning tea lives up to its reputation, and the Ju restaurant's cooking is excellent. Building 8 has the most central location, Building 18 is very new and refined, and Building 11 offers great value for money, even including hot springs and a travel photoshoot. The family rooms are also quite good."

"The room facilities, environment, and surrounding area were all great, and the service was good too. I accidentally booked a king-size bed room, but they were able to change it to a twin room and even upgraded it for me. The only issue was the soundproofing; I could clearly hear conversations happening outside the door, which was quite disruptive early in the morning. Everything else was fine."

"An absolutely wonderful stay for the whole family! 😊 Firstly, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat while being incredibly well-located right next to Slender West Lake, making it super convenient for sightseeing and dining. 😊 Secondly, they offer a thoughtful travel photography service ❤️, including two complimentary retouched photos, which was a very nice touch. The service was also excellent; they even upgraded our room, and the price was reasonable, which made us feel truly cared for!
