"What a fantastic vacation experience! Over four days and three nights, we got to try out buildings 9, 2, and 8, each with its own advantages. My personal preference, in descending order, is 2 ≥ 9 ≥ 8. First, let's talk about the courtyard room in building 2. What I loved most was waking up to lush greenery right outside my window. I could step into the courtyard in my pajamas and soak in nature. Even when it rained, there was no need to worry about not being able to go out; there were tables and chairs in the courtyard perfect for quietly watching the rain. It truly maximized that relaxed, vacation feel, ideal for unwinding and recharging. The facilities weren't old either; I found them perfectly fine. Next up is the suite in building 9. It's spacious, featuring a living room, bedroom, study, and two bathrooms. The Chinese-style decor felt grand and expansive, and the garden views from the window were also excellent. It would be very comfortable for a family. Since there were only two of us, we didn't need such a large space, which is why I personally preferred building 2, though building 9 was indeed great. Building 8 is the newest and most modern. It offers breakfast (which 2 and 9 don't), and it was quite good. The window seats in the restaurant also boasted amazing views. They even provide complimentary bedtime snacks (again, something 2 and 9 lack) and you can choose hot milk, which was a very thoughtful touch. The room quality was also higher, with Bulgari toiletries, Evian and Nongfu Spring bottled water, and better quality disposable slippers and mattresses. However, my personal priority for a resort hotel is the scenery, so building 8 ranked slightly lower for me. For those who prioritize room quality and service details, this building is definitely worth considering. The overall landscaping and service throughout the hotel grounds were excellent. Before coming, I wondered if people were exaggerating when they said you don't need to leave the hotel for a vacation, but after experiencing it, I realized it's true. Staying at the Yingbinguan is perfect for a low-energy, lazy person like me who doesn't want to wake up early for itineraries or battle crowds at tourist attractions. Beyond the hotel, everyone we encountered in Yangzhou – at attractions, restaurants, and museums – was incredibly nice. Thank you, Yangzhou, for giving us such precious travel memories. We'll definitely be back for another vacation!"

"After much deliberation, I chose this hotel, and although I didn't have high expectations initially, I was truly pleasantly surprised! The standout feature is definitely the service – it's incredibly thoughtful! We arrived quite late, past 9 PM, and originally planned to go for dim sum at a famous spot nearby. The hotel staff kindly informed us that it was too late, and then graciously offered us a complimentary breakfast right there at the hotel! The manager even offered a free room upgrade and personally showed me around the upgraded room. Even though I ended up staying in the Garden Suite, I deeply appreciate this considerate service. It's the first time I've experienced such patient and warm service! They also brought us dessert in the evening, and as a parting gift, we received some Niu Pi Tang (taffy)! We left something behind, and they patiently helped us find it! Although we didn't have a car, I noticed the hotel staff even wash cars for guests who need it! Every single staff member at this hotel is genuinely enthusiastic! For this reason alone, I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Yangzhou next time!"

"This was my first stay at Intercity, and it exceeded my expectations. My husband and I have been checking out various hotels, from luxurious ones to cozy guesthouses, and this Yangzhou branch was by far the most comfortable and relaxing. They truly made us feel at home. Every staff member treated guests like family, which was incredibly warm. On our first day, the doorman meticulously washed our car because we had driven a long distance and there were many 'bug corpses' on the windshield. We were genuinely touched by his thoughtful gesture. Their enthusiastic service continued until we entered the elevator. Such small details were perfectly executed, which made me think that the rest of our stay would be just as good. And indeed, the breakfast was another pleasant surprise. Although the dining room was small, the dishes were exquisite and plentiful. Moreover, the service from Restaurant Supervisor Mu added another layer of excellence; honestly, there's nothing to complain about. (Also, Mao Mao from the laundry room was very patient and meticulous, and the laundry equipment was spotless, completely eliminating any concerns about hygiene). During our interactions, I learned more about Intercity's philosophy: to foster mutual respect and closeness, bridging the gap between people through the best service possible. This is truly a wonderful thing. We are very grateful for the warm service provided by every staff member at Intercity 💕. We will definitely be back 😊💕. We stayed in a Premium King Room, forgot to take pictures though 📷… 😅"

"When I took my child to Yangzhou, I initially booked a family room, but it didn't specify that it had a sofa bed. We then realized it was completely unsuitable for sleeping. My first attempt to communicate with the front desk was met with a very unhelpful male staff member. However, after contacting Trip.com customer service, Manager Gao from the hotel quickly stepped in. Within 10 minutes, he helped us switch to a different room type and even prepared a gift for my child. He also promptly contacted his colleagues to update the details of the family room type, changing the description from 'single bed' to 'sofa bed'. This shows great responsibility, not only to us but also to future guests (as we usually avoid sofa beds when booking family rooms). A big thank you again to Manager Gao; he is both capable and efficient. Our trip to Yangzhou ended perfectly."

"Although the hotel was built in 2012 and renovated in 2018, the environment is still excellent. Due to good maintenance, the facilities and equipment are relatively new. The carpets and marble are very clean, and the housekeeping is thorough. The hotel doorman service is attentive and friendly to guests. The front desk staff provided excellent service and even upgraded our room. The day before we left Shanghai, customer service specifically called to ask if we had any special requests for our room and which train we were taking to Yangzhou, so they could arrange an early check-in for us if possible. When we checked out, they even gave us a local Yangzhou souvenir. The hotel's Chinese restaurant offers unique dishes that taste great, and the prices are quite reasonable. The waitstaff are polite and diligent. The breakfast offers a wide variety of Chinese and Western pastries, and the ingredients are fresh. The executive lounge is open for nearly 20 hours a day, providing guests with snacks, drinks, light meals, a place to relax and chat, and convenient small bites. All in all, our group of six was very satisfied with our stay at the Shangri-La Hotel Yangzhou, and we believe it offers excellent value for money."

"The hotel facilities are excellent, very clean, and the environment is superb. The front desk staff are attentive and polite to guests. I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and was very satisfied with everything. It's convenient to get to scenic spots by bus, the breakfast is rich and delicious, and the cleaning aunt on the 6th floor did a wonderful job. I'm extremely happy with my stay here and this hotel will be my first choice next time I visit Yangzhou."

"The room was excellent, and the private hot spring felt wonderfully smooth! A really great experience overall. The only downside was the travel photography service. They were constantly pushing sales and wouldn't let you think independently when choosing photos. Eventually, they resorted to high-pressure tactics because other guests were waiting. Thankfully, the travel photography customer service was good and handled the after-sales issues later. Many hotels offer travel photography, but they don't usually push sales so aggressively. The hotel's scenery is fantastic, with half of it overlooking Slender West Lake. I'll definitely come back!"

"Newly opened shop, no taste. Environment, health and service are good. There are a lot of food nearby, Huaiyang cuisine and lobster can be tasted. Next to Heyuan, I didn't go in. I took a look at the hotel balcony and it was pretty good. You can go in and go around next time. It took about 5 minutes to walk to Pishi Street. At night, there were a lot of people who went to turn around, but there was nothing to buy. Take a taxi to the Grand Canal Museum and Slender West Lake is also a starting price, which is quite convenient. The Huaiyang Cuisine Museum is also good, it is now charged, remember that the first time you come is still free. Overall it is worth staying!"

"The hotel's location is super convenient, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is lovely, and the breakfast, in particular, was fantastic – a wide variety of dishes and delicious, plus they even give you their homemade milk skin! We received welcome fruit upon check-in and a souvenir when we left, which was a wonderful surprise. If I had to pick out a couple of minor points, the room was a bit small with no city view, and there was some dust on the desk… but these are minor issues; overall, our stay was excellent!"

"We switched from a hotel near the Grand Canal to this one, a classic five-star establishment. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, truly setting a vacation mood. The concierge service was outstanding. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect for a trip to Yangzhou; it feels like Daming Temple, Slender West Lake, morning tea, the Ancient City Park, and Yangzhou Banquet are all part of the hotel's amenities. The best part? Soaking in the hot springs after a long day of sightseeing is the most anticipated moment of the trip. We loved it so much that we immediately extended our stay for another night. Highly recommended! For a family of three, getting this level of service, scenery, and amenities for just 200 per person is truly excellent value. It's definitely our top choice for visiting Yangzhou with kids."
