I saw on Ctrip before that the prices of Yangzhou Wuyi Hotel are flying high. Even far away places cost about 1,000. This price may seem expensive at first, but it is still okay after comparing all aspects. I used to stay in chain hotels and didn’t believe in folk inns, but after seeing it online, I couldn’t forget it. I thought it was a super interesting inn, so I decided to book it. Location: Pi Shi Street, 200 meters from Guangling Youyan, 200 meters from Pi Shi Street, about 1 kilometer from Dongguan Street, and about 300 meters from Heyuan. Overall, the attractions are all around, so you can come back to rest after a while and go out again. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to Wenchang Pavilion. Looking down from the hotel, there are classical houses, which are very beautiful. Environment: The room is quite big, with a simple wooden table and bed, Dyson air purifier, Dyson hair dryer, tea, snacks, and a small music box. There are many customized and unique little things. I am the type who eats, drinks, and lies down when I arrive at a place. I feel comfortable lying here for two days. Others: There are not many rooms in the hotel, so it is also very quiet, and breakfast is provided. There is a large hall where you can drink coffee, tea, play the piano, and watch projections. The store also made a guide to the surrounding delicious places. When you leave, you can also prepare small specialties and a custom canvas bag. There is also a loft with sofas, flowers, and telescopes. You can enjoy the scenery in the loft and feel the style of the old city of Yangzhou. Although the surrounding navigation is all red, you can feel the slow life of Yangzhou here. ps: It is next to the fire station, which makes you feel safe, hahaha.

FFanfanmama2001This was the smart king room booked for us. My husband usually handles all the hotel bookings and travel planning, but he was too busy this time, so I took over. Honestly, when we first entered the room, I was a bit disappointed because it was quite small, especially since we had our child with us. The activity space was limited, so we decisively paid extra to upgrade to a superior twin room, which offered significantly more space. Initially, my husband wasn't sure about the hotel's location, but then he realized it was right next to the ancient Grand Canal. It's just a short walk downstairs, and the scenery is beautiful, especially at night. Strolling along the Grand Canal was incredibly pleasant. Then, just across the bridge is He Garden, very close by. A few more steps lead to Pishi Street, a popular influencer spot, and a bit further on is Guandong Street. I asked my husband what he thought of the hotel, and he said it was excellent. The hotel is new, very clean, and the service is incredibly attentive. The breakfast was also delicious, and the Yangzhou fried rice was exceptional. Yangzhou is so beautiful, and our stay here was wonderful, adding even more joy to our trip to Yangzhou! 😀

They helped us with our luggage, and since we drove, they even offered to charge our car and wash it, which was really thoughtful. We brought our baby, and they gave her little toys twice – my baby absolutely loved the ladies at the front desk. When we checked out, they even gave us a souvenir! This trip was delightful, and it's my first time ever leaving a hotel a good review! Highly recommend!

ZZuiyuyaobaiBecause I had made an appointment with the Grand Canal Museum, I booked a superior king-size room with a private hot spring on the 24th. I was very satisfied with the front desk service from the beginning of the check-in. The service awareness was very good, and a disposable hot spring bag was given. The room was OK, with smart guest control and no odor. It snowed heavily in Yangzhou in the morning when I arrived, and it was said that hail fell... In such a cold day, the air conditioning and heating effect are very good, but the private hot spring is on the balcony. It was a bit cold when the breeze blew when entering and exiting the water. Of course, I didn't feel cold at all when I was soaking. I was sweating all over.... The hot spring pool is a bathtub type, very clean, and the water discharge speed is OK, unlike some private hot spring pools I visited before, some of which are dirty inside. I hope to install a curtain or something to block the wind, otherwise children will easily catch a cold. The breakfast is also good, and the dishes are relatively rich in my opinion. AAnonymous UserAs a veteran traveler, I often come to Yangzhou and have stayed in almost all the hotels in the surrounding area. This time I came to experience this newly opened hotel, which should be the most elegant one in Dongguan Street, haha. Xiao Qinhuai Street District currently has no commercial atmosphere, but it is very quiet, transportation is very convenient, and there are many authentic snacks around. The front desk recommended the very good Lao Goose Store. In addition, the hotel service is very good. I was upgraded to a riverside room for free and received a welcome drink. Unfortunately, I didn't go to the bar for a drink because I was busy with work at night (it is said to be the tallest bar near Dongguan Street). Knowing that I like coffee, they invited me to the bar in the morning and gave me Americano. In addition to local morning tea buns for breakfast, I especially like the thick-cut braised pork, which is much better than the traditional fried bacon. This kind of set meal is great. I like the style of the guest rooms. There are too few block-style designer hotels in Yangzhou. I will come again with my friends in a while.

Although it's not the official guesthouse, you can use many of its facilities. I enjoyed a great swim in the 50m spring water pool, which was super refreshing! Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Environment: Located right by Slender West Lake, the environment is absolutely stunning! Service: The front desk staff, both ladies and gentlemen, were friendly and enthusiastic! Yangzhou Slender West Lake Hot Spring or Hongqiaofang Hot Spring (choose 1 of 2): I absolutely love it! Last time I stayed, I chose Hongqiaofang. This time, with more time, I opted for Slender West Lake Hot Spring, and it totally rivals those in Japan! Excellent value for money.

It seems to be the only one around Yangzhou Slender West Lake that offers private hot springs. The hot spring was incredibly relaxing. The first round of the minibar included Coke, Sprite, and Fanta. The hotel's location is excellent, with the East Gate of Slender West Lake within walking distance. There are also many restaurants nearby, so you can easily find options for both breakfast and dinner.

XXiaokejibenbenOverall, I was quite satisfied. The waiters were very nice and there were many breakfast varieties. The dinner included in our original package was a buffet. Because there were not many people, they changed it to a Chinese restaurant to save costs. However, the standard was lowered to only 200 yuan, and it was not easy to order dishes by ourselves. We could only eat the dishes prepared by the chef. In addition, when checking in at the front desk, I saw that other tourists who stayed in the room had upgraded their courtyard rooms to garden views. So our package didn't seem to be that cost-effective, right?

GGuest UserThe place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.
