Viktorija
"the booking is soon and the room is clean, but a little bit old"
Konventa Sēta Hotel Keystone Collection
"nice location just in old town, nice staff. great food nearby!"
Dodo Hotel
"Yes, it was on the cheaper end for hotels, but I would not pay the price again. It is very near the tram stop, so it's easy to get into town, but I did not feel safe in the area. It was very deserted and eerie, and just did not have a good vibe going. In the hotel itself, the hallways and rooms were dark and seemed old and I was quite creeped out by everything, including the red curtains. The noise insulation is nonexistent; I was kept awake until 4 am by loud talking from the other rooms and some footsteps in the corridor, as well as outside. The floor/ceiling/walls are extremely thin, so you can track the movements of your upstairs neighbour. Fair warning, the hotel DOES NOT have a lift, so you will have to walk up the stairs with your luggage. Additionally, the cleanliness was not up to standard, with my quilt having dried blood on it, which was quite appalling. I would pay the difference to stay somewhere else, closer to the old town, too."
Opera Hotel
"My stay at the Opera Hotel has a pleathora of mixed feelings. I'd classify it as perfectly adequate for a short business trip if you get a good deal, but there are a few significant issues that really hampered the experience. 🚩 super narrow rooms, almost no space to put suitcases 🚩 upper mattress is moving while you are sleeping, so basically you end up falling from the bed 🚩 key card issues"
Grand Poet Hotel and Spa by Semarah
"Nice hotel, near city centre"
Ibis Riga Centre
"Very good location, close to a bus stop for the airport and also very short walk from the old town and all attractions"
RIJA Riga City Hotel
"It's not inconveniently located, about a 30-minute walk from Riga Station and about 20 minutes from the city center. It's a hotel where you generally don't interact with the staff. You can leave your luggage at a sister hotel in the city center. The procedure is explained via email, so you don't have to worry. The email includes the security code for entering the hotel and instructions on how to pick up your key. The explanation is concise and easy to understand; just follow the instructions. The staff member who happened to be there was friendly and even unlocked my door for me. There was a mysterious banging sound, perhaps from another room's door opening and closing. It was so quiet that I wondered if there were other guests, which made it a little scary. Nevertheless, the room was clean and spacious, and I was satisfied. Thank you very much."

Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga
"The hotel service was professional and attentive, with friendly and highly efficient staff. The rooms were spacious and comfortably laid out, and the bedding and overall quietness were satisfactory. The windows faced the garden and opera house, offering expansive views and a glimpse into the city's beauty, pleasant both day and night. Overall, the stay was relaxing and upscale, making it a highly recommended hotel in Riga."
Pullman Riga Old Town (Renovated 2025)
"Nice and new"
Grand Palace Hotel - Small Luxury Hotels of the World
"Well located hotel in the middle of the old town. Plenty going on nearby. Rooms are large but dated (they still use physical keys..) and the whole hotel could use a face lift. Facilities ok (there’s a small sauna and a very small gym). Food for breakfast excellent however. Staff well meaning and helpful."
A22 Hotel
"The service was outstanding as always, I had yet another wonderful stay"
Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Daugava Riga
"Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. However, the hotel feels a bit outdated, and the fitness room could definitely use some renovation. It was also disappointing that access to the sauna and swimming pool required an extra fee. The location is decent, but it’s about a 20-minute walk to the city center."
Wellton Riverside Spa Hotel
"I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is excellent—I walked from Riga Bus Station in about 12–15 minutes with a large suitcase, and Riga Old Town is only a 5-minute walk away with plenty of restaurants, cafés and attractions nearby. The hotel is also located along the river, where you can enjoy a pleasant walk or take a river cruise for just €15. I also appreciated the luggage room, which allowed me to continue exploring after check-out. The room was cosy, clean and perfect for a solo traveller. It had everything I needed, including a kettle, coffee, tea, minibar and a smart TV where I could watch YouTube. The hotel also has spa facilities, although I didn’t get the chance to use them. I also enjoyed a light meal at the hotel restaurant. The only downside was the soundproofing. I could hear people walking in the corridor and doors closing, and there were occasional noises from the room above, especially in the morning. Other than that, I had a wonderful stay and would happily return."
Riga Unimars Hotel & Spa
"Our reservation was cancelled without any message to us. Somewhat inconvenient to not know where to sleep after such unprofessionalism. Do not understand how anyone can operate like this. Please avoid this place unless you want to end up sleeping on the street."
Wellton Centrum Hotel & Spa
"I stayed a night there, in the early evening some heavy machinery was making very loud sounds and make the whole shower shake for an hour. After checkout i realized i forgot a bag of mine in the room, so i came back the next day to try to get it back, the stuff was super rude and not helpfull, after asking enough times, they "checked" and said yeah, we threw it away. Absolutly unacceptable"

Monika Centrum Hotels
"Great hotel, good value for money when in Riga. Close to the trams and not too far a walk into the new town/old town. I especially liked the free sauna which you book ahead so that it’s private."
Cinnamon Sally Backpackers Hostel
"Very clean! Great service! Great location! Healthy breakfast! The waffles were Bomb! I love it! The receptionist taught me how to say Thank You in Latvian! Well done!"

"Good location and fine room for price"
Wellton Riga Hotel & Spa
"Full of historical feel Water closet ventilation is a bit noisy even closed the door Tv channel is more options"
