We were especially thrilled with the amazing spa area: perfect for completely unwinding and relaxing after a day in Riga. 🧖♀️✨ The rooms are elegant and comfortable, the location is ideal, and the entire ambiance exudes true luxury. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the very first minute. For me, definitely one of the best addresses in Riga – absolutely recommended! We would return anytime."

"Lovely old hotel within 20 mins walking distance from the old town, central market, bus station, and train station. This hotel is near a Lido restaurant that opens at 10am, the Red Line tram stations, bus stops, KGB museum. Art Nouveau district is nearer to here than old town . Loving the antique vibes. The room has creaky floor boards, but room is clean. Bathroom has basic toiletries and hair dryer. Bed mattress is firm. Bedsheets are very clean and towels are changed daily. Thanks to the friendly staff who are fast to respond. You can borrow a kettle from the reception if you need to boil hot water. Bar doesn’t open past 10pm, but you can have a drink there during the day. Restaurant was undergoing renovation when I was there. The building contains some rental apartments and companies, and you can hear sounds from the corridor (there are public WC along each corridor). This place is recommended for people who appreciate the old school vibes and don’t mind the noise of people walking past."

"The front desk team is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely and spacious. Due to a spontaneous extension, I moved to a room in the annex, which I liked even better. This second room was also cleaner. Although there's no elevator in the annex, I would try to get a room there on my next visit. The breakfast at the restaurant across the street is ample, but there are many other options nearby that I would prefer. I'd happily come back again."

"Very nice and spacious rooms, hotel staff are constantly tidying up your rooms, providing chocolates and water. The main issue I encountered in this hotel was that their WiFi wasn’t stable, and I wasn’t able to have my online meetings properly. Tried switching to my own mobile data but network was bad too in the rooms."

"Perhaps ten years ago, this would have been considered a four-star hotel, but nowadays the facilities feel quite outdated and no longer live up to that standard. That said, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, and the room was clean. The only downside was that the overall atmosphere felt a bit dark and claustrophobic."

"The receptionists were helpful, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was warm and clean. Breakfast was good. Public transportation is right outside the hotel, with excellent connections to the Old Town. Free parking is available. We'll definitely be back."

"I recently stayed at this hotel for my birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. We were upgraded to a room with an old town view, which was truly stunning. Additionally, they offered us complimentary spa entrance after checkout, which was a delightful bonus. The room itself was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable, situated on the 19th floor with an amazing view. The spa was also impressive—spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and amenities."

"Great potential, but their left hand definitely doesn't know what the right is doing! My stay felt like a comedy of errors where I was the punchline. First, the breakfast saga: I pre-paid for my breakfast at check-in. Yet, every single morning, the restaurant staff looked at me like a breakfast bandit trying to sneak a free croissant. “Room number? Is breakfast included?” Cue me, once again, explaining my pre-paid status like I was telling a fascinating but unlikely story. I half expected them to ask for a signed affidavit from the front desk manager by day three. Then there was the Pool Surprise™. The website features the pool, but conveniently forgets to mention it costs extra. At check-in, I asked, ”Where's the pool?” They pointed. They did not, however, point and say, ”...and that'll be $20, please.” So, picture this: I'm there in my swim trunks, towel slung over my shoulder, ready for a dip. I get greeted not with a ”hello,” but with a request for my credit card. I had to do the walk of shame back through the lobby, damp and disappointed, to pay at the front desk. A simple heads-up would have saved us all from that awkward little parade! The place itself is nice, but honestly, it seems like the different departments only communicate by carrier pigeon. And I'm pretty sure one of those pigeons got lost. Pros: The room was good (if a bit tired), and the bed was comfortable. Cons: Be prepared for a mystery fee adventure and to repeatedly prove you've paid for things you've already paid for."
