Scenic Hotels in Riga

"Slap bang in the middle of Rīga, everything is walking distance, about 15 minutes tops to either direction and all the art nouveau architecture you could desire! Furthest walk was to the Holy Trinity Church, which you have to go over the bridge, but totally worth it. This hotel is mainly closest to the Orthadox church near a huge park. Breakfast has a variety, even if you're vegan too! Was impressed that you can have plant based milk hot coffees (but machine is very slow and temperamental). Would be nice to have had some vegan sausages, but you won't go hungry. The room I had was lush, very comfortable bedding, just a shame about the view, was facing the inside of the building and carpark. I would say for a 5 star hotel, coffee facilities could have been better, they were very basic, whereas other European 5 star hotels usually have a Nespresso machine or similar. Staff very friendly and accommodating of all hours of day and night!"

"Old hotel but very clean and in a perfect location. They pffer good amenities. It’s old but for the price was perfect. The only downside is the internet not being very stable. Good virw from my window."

"Overall value for money. Centrally located in the old town within walking distance to shops, cafes and attraction spots. Rooms are spacious with a small living area with sofa. Breakfast was fantastic. However, the rooms at block 2 do not have elevator access. There were 3 levels and need to walk up the stairs to room. Taxi couldn't access straight to the hotel. Nearest Uber drop off point would be in front of st. Peter's church."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is absolutely perfect — right behind the House of the Blackheads, making it very easy to explore Riga’s Old Town on foot. The area felt safe and comfortable, which was especially important to me as a solo traveler. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was simple but sufficient. Being so close to the main sights made exploring Riga very convenient. Overall, a comfortable, clean and well-located hotel in the heart of the Old Town. 🇱🇻✨"

"I recently stayed at this hotel for my birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. We were upgraded to a room with an old town view, which was truly stunning. Additionally, they offered us complimentary spa entrance after checkout, which was a delightful bonus. The room itself was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable, situated on the 19th floor with an amazing view. The spa was also impressive—spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and amenities."

"The receptionists were helpful, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was warm and clean. Breakfast was good. Public transportation is right outside the hotel, with excellent connections to the Old Town. Free parking is available. We'll definitely be back."

"The hotel's location is very central, the reception staff is friendly and polite. Breakfast is adequate and varied. The rooms are clean, there is a kettle, and the bed is comfortable. If I come back, I will stay at the same hotel again. You can leave your luggage free of charge after checking out and explore."

"I stayed at Wellton Riga Hotel & Spa for two nights. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It is within walking distance of the Old Town, shopping areas, restaurants and cafés, and it is also very easy to reach from Riga Airport by bus. The room itself was generally clean, but the carpet had several strange stains, which gave a poor first impression. Before my arrival, I specifically requested a quiet room, but unfortunately this request was not taken into consideration at all. My room was located right next to the elevators, so I could hear guests coming and going throughout the day and evening. The room was also noisy because of traffic outside, and there is a backpackers' pub below the hotel where people were partying loudly late into the night. If you are a light sleeper, I would strongly recommend requesting a room away from the elevators and the street. The staff were polite enough, but I often felt they were rather dismissive and tended to argue instead of listening when concerns were raised. The customer service did not feel particularly welcoming. The breakfast offered a large selection, but most of it consisted of sweet pastries, cakes and sugary items. I was hoping for more fresh and healthy options. Although the variety looked impressive at first glance, I found the breakfast disappointing overall. In my opinion, the hotel does not quite meet the standard I would expect from a four-star hotel. The excellent location is definitely its strongest point, but the noise, breakfast and customer service made the overall experience less enjoyable."

"Good location, about15-20 minutes walk to the city center. Clean, breakfast options, facilities are relatively new Overall experience is good, good value for money"

"This Kempinski service is really good, no one, all facilities are also very good, it is the best hotel in Riga, the location is also very good, very convenient, very recommended,"
