"Great place not too far from the city but still in a quiet area of town. Clean amenities. Room was slightly small but still had sufficient space. Bathroom was clean. Had access to common kitchen for meals. Will be back!"
"The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the city center. It's clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped. Breakfast was delicious, though the selection was a little limited. There's a dedicated indoor parking garage available, but it comes with a fee. Even the coffee and burgers sold in the lobby were quite reasonably priced. Overall, it's an excellent choice."
"Location of the hotel was pretty convenient. Also every room has its own corresponding parking place which is a huge plus. The downside is that the rooms were quite small for two persons. Breakfast options also were not very good. Would recommend getting the lake viewing rooms if budget is not your concern"
"this hotel is close to the airport and has limited parking space. the rooms are excellent and our room came with a washer and dryer which was most convenient. they even provide free detergent powder for 2 washes. brilliant! plenty of eateries nearby within walking distance if you prefer not to drive into town. there's even a supermarket nearby for your daily needs. overall very happy with the hotel."
"The hotel's breakfast times are very strict. Five families stayed here, and one of them arrived for breakfast at 10 AM only to be denied entry. This meant we missed out on the pre-paid breakfast, which was a significant loss. I would not recommend the breakfast at this hotel; it's much better to head to the city center for some bread and milk, as the hotel's breakfast is truly mediocre. It was, in fact, the worst breakfast I've had during my 15 days in New Zealand.
The hotel itself is pleasant, and its location isn't too far from the city center, which would be acceptable if you're not traveling with kids. However, for us, with children, it was genuinely tiring because parking in the city center is neither convenient nor cheap.
While the hotel's overall environment and cleanliness were good, one minor inconvenience was the old-fashioned, fixed showerhead that couldn't be detached. All in all, this hotel is not very convenient for families with young children."
"Mercure Queenstown Resort has offered very good services with great hospitality. The room given has a great view overseeing a big lake right from the middle. Livin (A name for New Zealander, I suppose) offered great hospitality for us and even treated us a VIP favour by giving an in room slipper.. thank you.. if you are lucky you can even spot a double rainbow…
Superb.. love Queenstown and Mercure Resort..
Also Accor membership is usable here.. bravo.."
"The room is very nice, with complete facilities. It is very close to the supermarket, so it is economical and healthy to buy ingredients and cook by yourself. It is very quiet at night. There are small gardens in front and back, and the view from the garden is great. The service is very good, and every question is answered without any impatience."
"A very satisfying stay experience! The host was very nice and entertained us warmly. He talked about local customs and travel recommendations, and even took us to visit his fruit and vegetable garden, just like we were guests at a friend's house♥️ The house was clean and tidy, with complete supplies and a well-kept small garden, where we could sit Looking at the beautiful scenery on the other side from the balcony, it is comfortable and comfortable💐 Five-star recommendation🌟"
"Service great (incl. shuttle to the city)
Location is semi good, shuttle / Uber necessary
Clean room, however seems hastily assembled to fill with guests (tap handle fell of, bathroom door randomly opened)
WARNING: MAIN BUILDING STILL A CONSTRUCTION SITE"

Great
AAnonymous UserBrilliant place like all haka houses are! Very clean and huge kitchen area, nice lounge area as well! Toilets were clean. Only downside is that there is advertised private parking but when I got there the car park was full with about 6 cars in it! This means you have to either park on the street or go up a huge hill and park outside houses just to get to your car! Wasn’t made clear.
GGuest UserEasy to find and within walking distance to the city center, but driving is easier during the evening when it is cold.
Very helpful and nice people always at the reception. Free washing machine and dryer at the same building. Deck has a bit of view of the lake.
Nothing to complain, except was not too sure the slippers were for re-use or not coz looked a bit dirty or not as white, so did not use them.
AAnonymous UserThe service and employees were great. Some of the rooms are however difficult to get to and I had booked a premium room with a lake view and unfortunately was given a room where the bush had blocked my view and it was ground level so I couldn’t see much
YYA FANGI won’t recommend it,they couldn’t find my booking under my name so they charged me again. when I told them that I didn’t get the refund, they said they’ll send an email to manager, but they did nothing until I called them and asked. They only took it seriously when I asked their manager’s contact. It took so long to get my refund and I had to pay transaction fees!!
We booked the sauna when we checked in,then the next day we went to the reception, they said they couldn’t find my booking again, and they didn’t even apologise for that,it’s all just ridiculous!
Ssuper酷酷鴨Stayed here for two days in a row. The location is very good. I chose it because the introduction said there is free parking. Currently, this youth hostel has 3-4 parking spaces in front of the door, first come first served. Otherwise, you need to go to Hamilton Road to find one (which is often full). You need to bring your own shower gel and shampoo, which is not very convenient. Other than that, I can give it a very high score. The youth hostel has cooperation discount codes with some attractions, you can ask the front desk to get them. If you are traveling alone, I still recommend them.
GGuest UserA microwave is available, but the property feels a bit dated. It's a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Not recommended for those planning to use the skibus, as you'd still need to take another bus to Frankton Golf, and buses at that stop are often overcrowded, making it hard to board. It's recommended to have your own car, as on-site parking is available.
AallegrezzaThe pod wasn’t very clean and the room smelled a bit damp. Pillow was thin and kept sinking, but the toilet was better than I expected. Some travellers didn’t flush properly, but that’s not really the hostel’s fault, they cleaned it up really fast. Location is awesome though, super close to the ski/bungee pickup point, 5 min walk to Intercity bus stop and Fergburger. BTW the locker was kinda tricky, my roommates and I had to get receptionist to reset it manually else it wouldn’t unlock
FFirew DemelashI had 3 night Copthorne Hotel and Resort
Queenstown Lakefront the room is clean and basic the bed comfortable l had a good sleep the room to big even had a good seating area coffee tea in the room TV had variety of choices however the bathroom that not that great they need to get rid of that bath basin I am not sure what is purpose? The shower curtain so cheap common if you charge your guests a top dollars you can afford a decent shower curtain it New Zealand not a 3rd world country. All the Wi-fi so terrible even basic email take time to download also what is deposit for if you don't have any minibar in the room? I think all those can improve a good management I had pizz one night taste good anyway this Queenstown accommodation always in short that way they don't care still a good place to crush a big hot two.
KKobez776Overall, it's decent. The view from the window offers a distant panorama of snow-capped mountains. The location is quite convenient for getting around, but the hotel has limited parking spaces, which isn't ideal for self-driving tourists exploring New Zealand's South Island. Although the underground car park has two or three levels, it was always full when we drove down. The hotel charges for parking daily, but if you arrive late, you'll often find no available spots and will need to find alternative parking yourself.
Most of Queenstown's attractions are nearby, with the cruise activity center less than 1 km away. It seemed that Queenstown required the least amount of driving during our South Island road trip, making its convenience excellent.
GGuest UserThe staff was very friendly and the price was reasonable but the room I got was right across the bar and people partied til 3 am when it’s Friday or weekends… impossible to fall asleep. I think I won’t stay here for sure next time ;(
