Hotel is not bad, but during our stay, most of the common areas were quite cold. Also, water in the main pool was quite cold, as well as the air temperature, making it unpleasant. It is ok for pure swimming, but since it is a family hotel, temperature should be fine also for kids playing. Service in the Merket restaurant was quite poor, while in the Chinese restaurant the service was very good, as well as the food, much better than in the Market. Breakfast is good. There is a small outside playground with animals. Some of the animals (the cow, the small rodents…) look a little bit suffering. If you don’t speak Chinese it is quite difficult to understand what kind of activities can be done (in the hotel or with hotel support), and nobody is proposing anything at first. All in all, not thinking to come back.

Facilities: The environment is beautiful, it is a very quiet place with a village on the side. The B&B is in the countryside, like a cabin in a fairy tale. No one disturbs you, but it is not remote. It has the feeling of a country house that I like. The B&B has its own small forest. When you wake up in the morning to the sound of birdsong, the fragrance of flowers and the fresh air, you will really feel relaxed and happy. There is also a small pond in the middle, which looks very good in terms of feng shui. We arrived early, had afternoon tea and watched the sunset, had a bonfire at night and looked at the stars, and set off fireworks with friends from the famous hostel, which was very fun. A place like this makes you feel isolated from the world and forget your worries if you stay there for a few days. It's just that I didn't have enough time this time, so I will come again next time. It's a good choice for couples, friends or family. The lady inside is also very welcoming and you can order food. The dishes she makes are local Chongming specialties and are very delicious😋 There aren't many down-to-earth B&Bs like this one in Shanghai nowadays. It is equipped with leisure and entertainment equipment such as swimming pool, audio-visual room, billiards and table tennis. I played billiards with my children. But to talk about the key point, there are several mahjong rooms, and I found that many guests staying there were playing mahjong. 5. Service. A female accommodation housekeeper at the front desk had a very good service attitude, responded to requests, and was always smiling and gentle. The hotel was unlucky on the New Year's Eve holiday, and the hot water storage tank was broken. The hotel communicated patiently and finally agreed to wash in different rooms at different time periods. The hot water seemed to be restored the next day. Even so, the hotel took the initiative to provide three dishes and one soup for lunch the next day. The service attitude was very patient and friendly. 6. Reminder. This homestay is relatively small, with a total of 12 rooms. If it is a gathering of friends, there are not so many people, it is a good choice. Recommended.

There is still room for improvement. The floor heating temperature is because it is a cycle of the whole building, so the temperature control effect in the room is limited. Even if we turn it off on the first night, it was still hot and didn't sleep well all night. There is a lack of towels in the room. There is no chair on the floor in the room, which is not convenient for the elderly to rest. The TV is not equipped with cable, we will on-demand and cast screens, and the elderly have not much choice. In short, Lanhaizhuang is still very surprising, all five-star praise, I hope to make persistent efforts, we will definitely come again when we have time. The toiletries are Hermès, the hair dryer is Dyson, and the bathrooms are all Kohler. The proprietress really decorated the whole B&B with great care. The environment is good and very clean and sanitary. It is the best choice for vacation.
