"Beautiful setting. We booked the two bedroom suite and it has an open kitchen with basic amenities. The closest Cole’s was 10-15min drive so we had a nice homecooked meal. Every morning, kids can run out to the grass and the loved it! Stars at night ✨"
"The Lane Retreat – Tranquil & Stylish Escape
Tucked away in the Hunter Valley, The Lane Retreat is a peaceful and beautifully designed getaway. The modern cabins are private, well-appointed, and surrounded by nature — perfect for a relaxing escape. Waking up to vineyard views and wildlife is a real treat, and the service is friendly without being intrusive. Ideal for couples or anyone needing a quiet, stylish retreat"
"We had a great experience spending one night there last Sunday. The view was spectacular. The hotel staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Monique, in particular, so friendly and helped us in a few different occasions. The photo she took for us was great."
"The hotel is open-plan, there are about a dozen rooms, large and small, and there are two sets of vineyards. It is a pity that the vineyards are very small. I expected to live in a large vineyard. Basic self-service, breakfast is in the refrigerator: juice, milk, ground coffee, washed directly, nut oatmeal, bread slices, prepare yourself, you can also eat. Hotel Italian restaurant recommended, two good meals, wall hangings. It is very quiet and nobody is not going out at night. There are laundry rooms, dryers and washing machines. The rooms are also big. Still good"
"Lovely stay. Staff very personable and friendly. Lovely pool and golf course overlooking the lake.
Room is very outdated and old appliances.
Breakfast was below average with no variety.
Great location though."
"We were there for our wedding anniversary weekend. Shae and Rosie truly went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I had an amazing time. The hotel is fantastic but their kind gestures made the stay memorable. Definitely looking to come back to this place"
"Lovely place that was clean and tidy, great for our 1 night stay with our puppy. Will stay again. Our room was one of the ones that was looking at the vines and mountains
Would be great if there were wine glasses and not just champagne glasses in the room so we can enjoy some of the wine that we bought."
"Elysia is a beautiful retreat set atop a hill overlooking the Hunter Valley. I was doubly impressed by the pools, gyms, and health facilities. They helped balance out the effects of the nearby wineries. Also, the rooms are huge and recently renovated."

Great
AAkkarpanOur stay at Spicers Vineyard Estate in the Hunter Valley was truly exceptional! The property is set amidst beautiful vineyards, offering a serene and picturesque atmosphere perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spacious and elegantly appointed, with every detail considered for comfort and luxury.
We dined at éRemo Restaurant, the sister restaurant of Spicers Guesthouse, and it was a culinary delight. Every course was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor—the Binnie Beef Hunter Valley Wagyu was a standout! The accompanying Thomas wine was superb and perfectly paired with the meal.
We also enjoyed a morning walk along the valley’s scenic trail and were greeted with the sight of hot air balloons floating over the hills—a mesmerizing experience. The entire stay was seamless, the staff were attentive, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the Hunter Valley in style!
GGuest UserIt was a lovely stay. Nice room, clean and tidy, the complimentary drink was a nice gesture. The property is huge and peaceful for a relaxing walk around. It's convenient to wineries and restaurants. The only thing didn't really work for us was the air conditioner, couldn't figure out how to turn it on.
RR.T.Amazing stay. Room was super clean and modern. Love the espresso machine and they also provided milk. Really great basic necessities and the shower amenities smell fantastic. Fantastic place to relax and chill, overlooking the vineyards, watching kangaroos hop, and cows grazing the fields. It’s exactly what a getaway should be. Easy to check in and out. Thank you.
XXIAOZHOUGood breakfast, the location of the hotel is better in the Hunter Valley, surrounded by wineries, convenient to travel friends on the hot air balloon the next day, the hotel is very special
GGuest UserThe time we arrived at the hotel is late, we find out the check in reception is at two hotels down the road, so we had to get back in the car driving there to check in, get the room key and drive back. As a driver from Canada which we drive on the opposite side of the road we find it's a little bit of inconvenient, especially in the dark. Other than that the room is very nice and clean.
GGuest UserThe entrance to the room is in the wild. When it is 2 pm, the kangaroo sleeps under the shade of the trees. Then there is a seating area outside the room, which is very comfortable. Children can run in the grass and play with the branches, so happy. In the afternoon, I went to the nearby supermarket to buy some burdock food. The two families made their own dinner, which was very casual and very holiday. The day of the stay is a sunny day. In the evening, you can create a photo. Under the setting sun, the tree shadow is beautiful. If you are lucky enough to catch the kangaroo, the picture is very interesting. In the evening, when you leave the room, you can see the stars in the sky. The Milky Way is clearly visible. The mobile phone broadcasts a quiet little music. It is a step with the loved ones. Stay for a while, don't be too romantic.
FFigureThe hygiene is average. There are mosquitoes and flies in the room, but there is no mosquito repellent. The breakfast buffet has few varieties and choices, only scrambled eggs, bacon, mushrooms, bread, cereal, juice, coffee and a small amount of fruit. It is very average. There were not many guests for breakfast in the two days.
GGuest UserI had the pleasure of staying at this resort for one night and it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance was charming and serene, setting the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The highlight of my stay was the wine tasting session, which was expertly curated with a delightful selection of wines that catered to both novices and connoisseurs. The staff's knowledge and passion for wines were evident, making the tasting even more enjoyable. The accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring a good night's rest. While my stay was short, it left a lasting impression, and I look forward to returning to this resort for a longer stay in the future.
GGuest UserWe were pleasantly surprised by Villa Provence, couldn’t be happier with the location, charm and cleanliness of the place. I would definitely return. Communication via text message was very clear in regards to key collection. It has beautiful gardens and facilities, photos don’t do the place justice!!
