A lovey hotel very close to Centrale Station. Received a very warm welcome upon checking-in. Our room was on the ground floor so very easy to access. The room itself was very spacious, more than enough towels provided, and the bed was so comfortable. if we ever go back to Pisa we will stay here again.

Wonderful service, wonderfully located hotel. A short walk to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, restaurants everywhere and a lovely gelato shop about 5 minutes away. A 12 minute walk from the Pisa Centrale train station so this hotel is extensive convenient. Breakfast was included in my room package that I booked for my family so every morning we would go to the pastry shop right around the corner where breakfast is served, a coffee drink and a delicious pastry to start us on our day. Next time we are in Pisa again we will DEFINITELY stay at Leonardo Hotel again…..until next time.

The hotel is perfectly located literally 2 minutes from The Leaning Tower. The street outside has plenty restaurants, supermarkets and small shops. Our room was on the first floor. Basic, but very clean with a small fridge and ensuite facilities. Also on the first floor is a small roof terrace where you can have breakfast or drinks overlooking the Tower. You can buy chilled beer, wine and soft drinks from reception. The staff are a real credit to the hotel: very friendly, courteous and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hotel Franceso.

We had a twin room for 2 nights at the beginning of our holiday and 1 night at the end of our holiday. The first part of our stay was ok -- at least there was a split type air conditioner that worked! (though I could see the air con itself was very dusty!). The bathroom was very congested, shower cubicle, toilet and bidet packed together. One couldn't even sit properly on the toilet! The second part of our stay was much worser -- the built-in type air conditioner was not working. We opened the window but it was still too noisy at almost 12:00, we could hear people talking downstairs. It was too hot so we could not sleep well. Besides, the bathroom was even smaller -- there was no proper shower cubicle, just a shower curtain, so you could imagine that after a shower, the whole bathroom was like flooding! Again, as it was small, one could hardly use the toilet properly and needed to be extra careful not to be hit by tower rack and sink worktop. To conclude, even if the location is close to Pisa Central station, while paying at this price, I would not recommend it.

I booked this hotel after seeing another reviewer say that they stayed here as a solo female traveller and found it clean and safe. I would echo this reviewer's comments. I stayed here for five nights, and used Pisa as a base to travel to other places (namely Lucca, Firenze, and Siena) so wanted somewhere within a reasonable walking distance of the train station as I envisioned returning to the hotel when it was dark. I took the 'Pisa mover' shuttle from the airport to Pisa Centrale station (which cost €5 and took around 5 minutes), and then the walk to Hotel Bologna with my suitcase was in pretty much a straight line through the main square and down paved and well lit streets. It took around 7 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel. I arrived at Hotel Bologna at around 10:00 and was able to leave my suitcase in a secure room (no charge) whilst I spent the day exploring Pisa. I came back around 18:00, collected my case, and formally checked in (although I could have checked in at 13:30) before heading out for dinner. Staff were mainly young and male, and were pleasant and spoke very good English. I was allocated room 16 which was on the first floor and overlooked the small car park and a patio area. There was no external noise apart from the odd aeroplane which cannot be helped anywhere in Pisa, although I imagine that (1) people might use the patio for drinks in better/warmer weather which would bother me if they were rowdy; and (2) people in the rooms which overlook the road at the front of the hotel (Via Giuseppe Mazzini) might experience a bit of traffic noise. The internal walls seemed quite thin and I suspect that the bathroom of the adjoining room was located right next to my bed as it was noisier than expected when they were having a shower and talking in the bathroom. However, luckily, the people next door weren't particularly noisy and showered at a reasonable time, so it didn't bother me per se. I stayed in a single room (single bed with en-suite) which was definitely big enough for just myself/did not feel cramped. The room was decorated in a more 'traditional Tuscan style' (think greens, reds, and golds) so not particularly 'instagram worthy' but neither am I. The room and bathroom felt and were kept very clean by housekeeping, as were the bedding and towels. The bathroom contained a toilet, shower cubicle with sliding doors, bidet, sink with large mirror, tissue dispenser, sanitary bag dispenser, toilet brush, bin with lid, and hairdryer. You receive complimentary shampoo, body wash, intimate wash, vegetable based soap bar, shower cap, and shoe sponge. In the bedroom there is another bin and a desk and chair with large mirror. Underneath the desk is a mini fridge containing a range of drinks and snacks, which I removed and instead used the fridge to store my own food and drink which I purchased from a Carrefour Express minimart which was a circa 5 minute walk away near the main shopping street. After our EasyJet flight was cancelled we were unable to find anywhere to stay in Pisa so spent half the night on a sofa in a hotel reception area and half sitting at the railway station. My sister suggested Blue Shades who offer ‘day rooms’ and we were only too grateful to check in and grab some much needed sleep. The room was clean, spacious, had great blinds, en-suite bathroom and teeny hidden kitchen area - it was everything we needed and more! Morover even in sweltering heat it was an easy walk to the airport.

The location of the hotel is a bit off; the breakfast is very good, the restaurant is very beautiful, and the prices of orders at other times are more expensive; the rooms are quite spacious, safe, refrigerator, TV, etc. are all available, all of which are embedded in design, which has a sense of science and technology; The open-air garden on the second floor is very beautiful, suitable for evening chats and gatherings; in terms of services, two beds are set up in the room as required, and free taxi-hailing services are provided. The consumption receipt is shown at the checkout, but a tourist tax of 4 euros is added every night (Not mentioned when booking by Ctrip); In terms of hygiene, the rooms can be cleaned up in time, but the corridors, rooms and towels all have a sour smell.

Very close to the town center of Pisa ( 6 minutes by car). The room was large, clean, excellent mattress, aircondition was great. The bathroom was amazing with two shower heads and four sprayers… I didn’t want to get out of the shower. The main desk does speak English and was king enough to take our luggage way before our check in time. This hotel is on a main road so it was easy to locate with plenty of indoor and outdoor parking.
