"I recently stayed at M World Hotel (previously known as Avante Hotel) and had an overall pleasant experience. The hotel’s location is excellent, offering convenient access to shopping and dining options nearby. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were courteous and helpful throughout our stay.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities provided. However, I would like to highlight that the toilet cleanliness could be improved, particularly the shower area. The shower head had visible build-up and could benefit from more thorough cleaning and maintenance. Addressing this would significantly enhance the overall guest experience.
Other than that, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I hope the hotel continues to improve and maintain its standards following the rebranding."

"I like the parking space.. private, spacious and free. The room is quite ok for the price but not sound proof. At night can be noisy with people chatting at nearby rooms. The check in and check out process is smooth with the machine but there’s a staff to assist. Definitely will come again. Worth the price"

"It's really hard to explain. The apartment faces the highway, and even if we live on the 20th floor, it's still very noisy. Noisy from morning till night. The other thing is that, someone downstairs said it, but this should be respected. The room itself is large and the basic facilities are OK. In addition, the check-out time requirement is 10 am."

"It's a homestay. Checking in is a little complicated. Room is clean and tidy. A gas station convenience store is located on Lg4. Take lift to Lg1, then change to car park lift located just to the right of the room lifts' entrance. Go to Lg4 and you'll find it. If you're driving, checking out needs some maneuvering. Drive out using the car park pass provided. Then at the hotel lobby drive back to the car park on Lg1, using TnG, to return the access card and car park pass. 🤗"

CChongFirst the good part. This hotel is superbly located at has a direct link to the 1 Utama Mall which is full of shops and restaurant outlets. The room is spacious and very well kept although the bed is a little too hard. Breakfast variety was also very good.
The bad part. At check in, I was told there was a RM20 “deposit” payable. So I paid this in cash. At check out, I asked for the return of the deposit and was told that what I paid for was not a “deposit” but a tourism tax.
I told the staff that all taxes (including the tourism tax) were fully paid when I booked on trip.com. I also showed the booking details on the app proving that the tourism tax was included in the total amount I paid for.
I was asked to show the receipt before they could refund me. As I was rushing to the airport, I had to leave the hotel without the refund.
The staff should be better trained to inform guests on what they are actually paying for (whether it’s a deposit or a tax).
And the staff should also know from their system if all taxes have been paid for or if any excess should be collected. Not everything is a “deposit” which is highly misleading.
While it was a good overall stay, this incident left a negative impression.

AAnonymous UserThis was my 2nd time staying in this hotel. The room was nice & still felt safe even though quite far at the back from hotel lift. The foods and breakfast were delicious.Our room aircond suddenly leaked & the technician came asap to fixed the problem. However, the staff at the registration counter need to be well aware on the hotel itself (e.g how to help guest if having problem with parking system) & assist guest as much as they can without asking the guest to manage it on her own since the guest is not aware on certain part of hotel management.

AAnonymous UserMy room was upgraded to a 2-bedrooms unit. It looks clean and nice. But... I was welcomed by 2 little cockroach and there are some spiders at room corners. The bed looked clean but I feel it has dust mites, because my legs feel itchy. Besides, the pillow is a bit smelly.
The bathroom exhaust fan might have some problems, the noise is quite loud.
The parking entrance is not easy to find especially at night time. Hope they can add a clearer signboard.
Overall, it is a nice place to stay if the management could solve these problems.

TTengku IzanHighly recommended hotel. Please take note there are two Royale Chulan hotel. One is The Curve and the one we stayed was Damansara. Very near to each other.
We chose Damansara as we felt it was worth the money and it was only about 4 mins walk to the curve. In fact we were very impressed with such beautiful hotel at reasonable price.
The receptionists were all polite. Parking is convenient and it was RM4 per each entry.

RrimarakuI liked that the rooms were spacious and had a bathtub. It was also good that a breakfast buffet was included, even though it was not expensive.
However, although the hotel is basically clean, it is not recommended for those who are bothered by the oldness of the hotel itself, as it is noticeably dirty due to its age. Also, the breakfast buffet is not that good. We recommend the bread and the noodles, which are made on the spot.
Also, the location is not that great as it is a little far from the station, you have to go through dark streets and there are no convenience stores in the area.
But, the size of the rooms and the bathtub are very attractive.

AAnonymous UserIf you’re driving & not familiar with the place this is for you. First things first contact the property CS and ask for the location details and stuff. They’ll send you the videos on how to get to the building and how to find parking.
Don’t repeat the same mistakes I did. As of now you can’t find the place using waze, you’ll end up at the pickle point. Minus one point from me. You need to use Google Map to get there.
The lift only goes one way at a time (it goes up all the way and vice versa) and it’s annoying to wait as it takes too long. Here’s another tip, on weekends especially, if you want to check out you might want to go out early as it’s gonna take a while to wait for the lift that is available. When going down, it’s full almost all the time as most people are checking out too. Ifykyk.
As for the rooms, super satisfied with it. Love it. Will I repeat, for leisure maybe but for work related nope. Probably never. But I had a good stay.

HHaziqThe hotel was fine. The room that i checked in was good for the price although some parts of the room has its share of wear and tear. The room and bathroom was clean but a bit of dark spots at the corner of the bathroom. Parking is only available at the basement and will charge you per hour capped at RM9 maximum.
The privacy is mediocre as we already place no disturb sign at the door but still staff entered our room for room service. We expected no one will come in if the sign is placed on the door. One of the lamps also not working. The switches for the do not disturb and make up room also not functional. The lighting is not too bright and a bit dark as only warm lights are used.
Overall, for a king room i can it is quite satisfactory.

DDreamcatcher888I booked the Deluxe Queen room because it has a ”kichenette”. It's actually just counter space with zero appliances. It's odd to not have an induction stove for this space, and the rooms not having microwaves makes it misleading to call this an ”aparthotel”. My room was a total eyesore (see photos). It's concerning that they won't improve the appearance of the rooms for the guests with several coats of paint. It's not compatible for long stays. There was construction across the hall (see last photo) from 10 AM to 5 PM which made it impossible for me to work remotely. The only 2 positives were the internet being private and the location being walkable.

CCrycatVery convenient place for me as I use MRT to go to work everyday. No need to worry about what to eat because there are plenty of food shops nearby. Parking is on the street and has to pay MBPJ during daytime. No lift but still acceptable.
