Once a 17th century convent, Locke de Santa Joana has a rich, distinctive history. From preserved interior details to artifacts displayed in the cultural gallery, our Lisbon hotel unites the past and present. A playful style flows throughout 370 serviced apartments, many with their own kitchen.
Vibrant coworking spaces, meeting rooms, and plenty of restaurants and bars mean you won't need to leave. And the sunkissed courtyard and outdoor pool mean you won't want to either. Luxury, yet affordable. Homely, yet indulgent. Ideally located near Avenida de Liberdade.

An overall great experience in this hotel. The room I got was cute and has a small kitchen, it has the appliances you need to cook a meal, and plates, utensils as well, there is even a oven that you can heat up all the pastries you brought back to your room, the pastel de nata in the cafe down stairs at the hotel’s lobby were good. But what save my trip was the washer/dryer in the room, been travel for almost 2 weeks without doing laundry until I checked in to this hotel. If I’ve ever returned to Lisbon, will definitely stay in the hotel again.

As soon as I got off the bus, I felt the coolness of Lisbon. The hotel is in a good location. It is about a 5-minute walk from the restaurant frequented by Ronaldo. There are also many shops nearby.

This was our second time in Lisbon, and decided to try Tivoli as part of a Leading Hotels of the World property and also due to its location. As soon as you walk in, you are presented with a wonderful and elegant lobby with some beautiful flower arrangements. At the reception we were welcomed by Luis. Before checking us in, he had to step in and help his colleague who was being troubled by a very rude guest that was giving her quite a hard time, and he did it with a smile on his face and was as professional and efficient as it can get. After that, Luis checked us in and since the room was not ready, he helped us making a dinner reservation for that night (we absolutely loved it, thanks Luis!) and offered us a glass of wine while the room was being prepared. We were given an upgrade to a Deluxe Family Room with a nice view towards the pool (which is a hidden gem right in the middle of the city). The room was very spacious and we had a small treat with some local pastries and a bottle of wine prepared for us, which was a nice touch. However, it felt like some of the furniture had already been through a lot and it clearly needs to be replaced. We also made a few reservations during the remaining days through the concierge and Miguel and the Concierge Team were very helpful and knowledgeable, always providing us with some great recommendations that allowed us to experience the best that Lisbon has to offer. After being told by many people that we could not leave without visiting the most trendy rooftop bar in town, we ended up giving it a try and it was definitely a good choice, both the cocktails and the view were amazing. The only downside is the noise you may experience during the night since it stays open until quite late. Overall, I believe that what made our stay so special was the service and the staff, especially Miguel and Luis who were absolutely amazing and a huge help making our stay a memorable one and are the perfect example of the service that should be provided at a Leading Hotels of the World property. You can clearly see that the staff is overworked and given a hard time more often than they should but they will always smile at you as soon as they see you and try to go the extra mile.

This is our second time visiting Lisbon and staying at the NH Collection Lisboa Liberdade Hotel. First, it is a perfect location - easy to get to from the airport if you take public transportation for less than 3 euros. It is in walking distance to all attractions. Secondly, the rooms are quiet, clean, and reasonable. Thirdly, the roof top bar has the best view (and a swimming pool). Best ending to a wonderful day in Lisbon - sunset on the rooftop. And finally, the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We learned about this hotel from our ExperiencePlus Cycling adventures - they introduced us as we began our ride in southern Portugal in 2017 and now we head north cycling through Porto to Santiago de Compostela. We would stay here again for a third time!

Awesome breakfast. Top notch. Many choices. Clean rooms. Spectacular views. Train station is cross the street. Airport is 3 stops away. Uber ride is $5-7 from the airport. Cross the street is Vasco the Gama mall. Has ton of food choices and shopping. Water front promenade few minutes away. Must do Sky Bar in the night. Views are unbelievable. Only thing is its around 20 minutes from Barrio Alto area. But you could take the train or Uber ride, pretty inexpensive. Mangers Sergio and Carlos was very hospitable. Attended to all the extra things I asked for.

Great room; we stayed on 18th floor that had a winding staircase with an outside patio. The patio was very large and had a fantastic view; it was wonderful. The beds were comfy and we were able to get an extra single bed brought in as there were 4 of us. The bathrooms were great with the rainshower head and sprayer, large soft bath towels and robes. The only thing that was disappointing is that the window on the main floor only went 1/2 way up the wall and there was no window on the 2nd floor bedroom; however you had the door that opened up to the patio on the 2nd floor. It was a fantastic room. The staff was great and quick to respond to any requests we had. Great place to stay. It is close to a park; restaurants, but seems to be more in the business district; however we walked all other to stores etc. Lisbon is very up/down so you are always walking up or down and on uneven ground/bricks. Fantastic place; just wear comfy/walking shoes and be ready to have some steep uphills and downhills.

Oriente is this modern uber-cool area of Lisbon, and whilst it's a good journey to the centre of Lisbon, is a cool place to lay your head for the night. The breakfast offering was reasonable and nice, the staff were great, and the rooms (though small for someone who's lived in America for ten years) were pretty well--equipped with helpful things. Top tip: to get ice you need to use the ice/water machine on the ground floor by the drink dispensers. As there are no ice buckets, buy a small tub from somewhere like the Contiente in the big mall, and use that. We Europeans don't do ice much. Other than that, expect an exceptionally quirky hostel, with great staff, and you'll have a good time

The hotel is in a good location. But the facilities are old. The windows are not soundproof. The girl at the front desk wearing round glasses had a very cold attitude. Neither Wi-Fi nor breakfast time is introduced. Not friendly to Chinese people. Other service staff are ok. Should breakfast snacks be covered with covers? Flies are crawling…
In fact, if it’s just location that wins, there are many local five-star hotels to choose from on Liberty Avenue. One thing is that a small bottle of wine was given in the hotel room. Although it tasted terrible, it was given.

We stayed here for one night before a flight out of the Lisbon airport. I picked it because it was so close to the airport, allowing us to drop off our bags right from our rental car, after which I returned the rental and made the incredibly short walk back from there to the hotel. The hotel itself was very nice, a modern but functional design. We enjoyed a late night snack in the bar area before turning in for the night. Our room was comfortable, though we would have greatly preferred an actual U.S.-style bathroom area with an actual door rather than just a curtain to separate it from the bedroom area. In the morning, we had some time to spend before having to go up to the airport and took advantage of the fitness room. It was large and had plenty of equipment for us. I wish it was a little closer to other things so I could have seen a little of Lisbon but this visit was all about ensuring easy access to the airport. Despite it being so close, the front desk staff recommended we take their free shuttle rather than lugging our bags on the short, but uphill, walk to the terminal. I would not hesitate to stay again if I have the opportunity to fly to or from LIS.

GGuest UserWe really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, unique hotel. It was a bit tricky to find the first time, but if you follow the signs beside Taylor's and trust going thru the alley and up the stairs, you won't be disappointed once you ring the bell and are greeted. The winding staircase up to the suites could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues, but otherwise it's definitely worth the walk. The 'Paula' room on the top floor was very spacious and comfortable, with amenities we weren't expecting, like a bar, stove top and fridge. The room has a nice view overlooking the river (sometimes with cruise ships) and while there is a/c it was lovely to have the windows open and appreciate the breeze from the water. We also really loved the breakfast - super fresh, daily made juices, pastries, meat and cheese - a perfect way to start the day. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

GGuest UserWe finally got to Lisbon and stay here after having to postpone twice because of COVID. This is a really nice hotel and we felt right at home from the moment we walked in through the doors and received a warm welcome from the staff. The hotel is ideally located for exploring the city, it is a very nice location, just off the Avenue Da Liberdade where there are numerous designer shops. Rooms were good, spacious, with comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Excellent buffet breakfast was included. Hotel has some really nice areas to relax in with complimentary tea, coffee and iced water. It also has a nice bar area on the ground floor with good cocktails and a terrace on the 5th floor. All staff were really friendly and delivered a very high level of service, without it being 'too much in your face'. It is not often that you stay somewhere and you struggle to find fault with anything, but this was the case at the Hotel Lisboa Plaza. It goes without saying that If we come back to Lisbon, we will definitely be staying here again and would recommend staying here to others.

AAnonymous UserThe location is good. It is close to the luxury street and the neighborhood is safe. The hotel is new and stylish. Although it is not large, it looks very good. The deposit for check-in is 50 euros, which is very reasonable. It was refunded the next day after check-out. It is a pity that the hotel does not have a gym.

GGuest UserThe location is good and the apartment is new, but it is a pity to treat the client, not for bad education of staff who were educated at all times, but for business policy.
The room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean. Parking in a landscape without cover and without stamp to call the reception.
When we paid the parking, we were charged a supplement for paying it with a card. Then they ask us credit card data to be able to pay a charge if we broke a glass, we lost a cushion... There was a price ratio for each loss or break in the apartment.
When we entered the apartment we had to call because the bathroom grip was broken and clearly we called to see it not to be to pay it.
The most humiliating was when we went to the receptionist accompanied us to the apartment to see if everything was right: he told the message, he watched if the air conditioning, the TV (after all, only 7 Portuguese channels), Even the washing machine that when she was panished, she was not seeing at simple sight (as I thought we were in the bag).
Finally, we're a bad experience so when we're back to Lisbon we'll go to other apartments or hotels where they haven't treated us as criminals at other times.

GGuest UserEverything was very good, one point that could be improved would be to answer the door as soon as we arrived to check in, the attendant took a while because she was cleaning some rooms.
Overall it was great, perfect location close to markets, public transport and 20 min walk from the commerce square. I loved it I will definitely be back.
