Take the tree in the room, for example; its decoration clashed terribly with the rest of the room. I don't know what the designer was thinking. The lights on the tree were connected to the bathroom, requiring guests to turn them all on or off. The windowless room was already very dark, and having to keep the lights constantly on or off was a clear violation of the principle of functionality over aesthetics, resulting in a terrible user experience. This was especially problematic for guests who needed some light to fall asleep in a windowless room, and there seemed to be no effective solution. I hope this room will be redesigned, starting with removing the gaudy, non-functional tree. I also suggest the hotel use more yellow lighting for decoration, instead of the slightly unpleasant green and purple. Overall, the design was poor, the service was okay, and the breakfast was rather simple. I stayed there for one night, but I didn't really understand the hotel's design.
