"The service was exceptional. The front desk staff proactively accommodated and adjusted our booked room type, realizing it wasn't suitable for us. The room was spacious, clean, and had excellent hot water. The facilities were modern and comprehensive, and parking was convenient. The WiFi was fast and easy to use. Transportation, shopping, and dining options are all convenient, and the breakfast was especially hearty. The elevator made it easy to carry luggage. Although located on the road, it wasn't noisy at all. It's not far from Pagoda Hill."

GGuest UserThis was the best night I slept since I went on this long trip for nearly 10 days! The hostess was very hospitable, and the small cave homestay yard was kept clean. In the afternoon, the hostess took us around the village and dug a basket of wild vegetables. For dinner, we had steamed wild vegetables with rice noodles that we had never tried before. It was not very delicious, but it was a brand new experience. We also went to see the 500-year-old locust tree next to her mother's house. The village was very quiet and warm at night, with hot and cold water. Three meals a day were cooked by the hostess herself, and we also ate freshly baked steamed buns, which felt like home. Tourists who drive to the Yucha Grand Canyon Scenic Area can consider living here.

Their vegetables are incredibly fresh, harvested right from the garden. I personally watched the owner picking leafy greens, cucumbers, and tomatoes from their own vegetable patch – they were vibrant green and glistening with dew. Once stir-fried, a delightful aroma filled the air. The texture was delightfully crisp and the flavor refreshing and sweet – a genuine, natural taste you simply can't get in the city. Even the kids couldn't get enough of it!
For cleanliness, comfort, and amazing fresh farm-to-table food, you can't go wrong choosing this place! It's especially suitable for families, offering healthy meals and a worry-free stay.

MMechiWe wanted to stay a few more hours because we had a night train and they wanted to charge us for an entire night, the bedsheets and the room were already used and it was nothing for them to charge us half a day, we needed to make a reservation at another hotel. The window is extra small and the best view is from the hallways, don’t know who designed this hotel.
It was clean and the bed super comfy, but the system for taking a shower and go to the loo was weird and uncomfortable with not proper ventilation. But, it is perfect for the price

After booking this Yan'an Folk Hotel, the front desk upgraded the specifications for free. The environment is good, clean and hygienic, and the hot water for bathing is also very good! The morning buffet is also rich, including hot and cold dishes, steamed buns and fried dough sticks, milk pastries, coffee and fruits. KKekeaiaideniugeniujiemamaOn the last day of the Yan'an trip, in order to relieve the fatigue along the way, I specially booked this hotel, which is known as the best in Yan'an. From the hotel scale to the hardware and software facilities and the front desk service, it is really very good. Especially the front desk lady, who is responsive to every request, especially praise 👍👍
When checking in, I confirmed again that only the king-size bed room has a bathtub. Because I have been walking around for two days, my back and legs are sore and swollen. I want to take a bath to relax, so I asked if I could change a standard room to a king-size bed, and I hope that several rooms can be together to facilitate the care of the elderly and children. The lady arranged it very quickly and personally arranged welcome fruits, which was very in place. The hotel's mineral water supply is not only doubled in the room, but also available in the elevator room. This is very considerate for tourists who are not very adaptable to the dry climate in northern Shaanxi.
The breakfast is good overall, but there are not many varieties. The only bread sandwiches for breakfast are butter, jam, nuts and raisins. There is a lack of meat such as bacon and ham. There is only one sausage in the whole breakfast that is a pure meat product, which is a bit lacking. The children didn't eat the small cakes at the seafood buffet the night before, so they thought they would eat it in the morning, but they didn't expect that there was no breakfast at all😔😔
For the hotel facilities, I personally think there are still some suggestions for improvement:
1. The bath water temperature is low, the shower is OK, but the bath is not enough. It is recommended to increase it appropriately and let the guests adjust it by themselves. The temperature changes greatly in spring. Although it was more than 30 degrees in the previous few days, it dropped below 10 degrees on the night we arrived. With such a large temperature difference, the water temperature should also be adjusted in time.
2. There are not enough facilities for placing clean clothes around the bathtub. There are hooks on the wall of the bathroom in the standard king-size bed room, which is very humane, but there is only a stool next to the bathtub in the suite, and the wall tiles on the side are still very rough, which is not very convenient. And the hotel does not provide disposable bathtub covers, which is a bit regrettable. After all, now all Jiangsu and Zhejiang homestays with bathtubs will provide them. It is recommended to add them, especially for super large bathtubs. Generally, you will not buy such a large bathtub cover if you bring your own😂😂
3. The trash can is not covered with disposable trash bags, which puts higher requirements on the work of the housekeeping staff. Once the holiday, it will be a bit too busy and there will be omissions.
Generally speaking, the hotel is very good. I didn't have time to walk around and swim this time, but I will choose it again next time.

Mmarcus meyercheck in process was not good. first they couldn't identify my trip.com booking, later on they claimed that foreigners can't stay and i need to go to another hotel. after having this situation many times I quoted actual regulations (there is no such thing as a license system/qualification for any hotel in China,plus the government recently advised all hotels to not reject any guests based on their nationality) and stayed there.
about the room - everything worked well, hot shower, cosy beds, clean environment.nothing to complain about.
the location isn't very central, but there are plenty of shopping options and restaurants nearby.
I would come again when in town. I seriously hope that the next check in goes smoother, also for other foreigners coming.

Due to years of disrepair, there is no sealing strip at the bottom of the bathroom door. Every time I take a shower, water will leak under the sink. The floor drain under the sink seems to be blocked and does not drain, causing a lot of water on the ground.
Sanitation: The check-in is very clean. We stayed for four nights. The daily cleaning was very sloppy, and only some necessary items were replenished. Towels and bathrobes were not replaced. Shampoo and bath gel were not replenished in time. But as long as you and the waiter ask for it, they will be delivered to you as soon as possible.
Environment: The room is large and transparent. You can see Pagoda Mountain from the window. The night view is also beautiful. You can sit on the toffee chair to drink tea and watch the night view. The hotel is in a prime location. It is within walking distance to major attractions, especially Pagoda Mountain, Qingliang Mountain, Taihe Mountain, Erdao Street Night Market, etc.
Service: The front desk service is warm and responsive. The attitude is super good and super friendly.
Warm and cozy goodnight porridge for two: very warm, but the porridge is very thin, not as delicious as expected. It is worth mentioning that the front desk is a treasure bag with everything you need.

The room is really clean, the door locks are smart, the toilet is smart, and it is very comfortable to live. The most surprising thing is to eat, there are barbecue, stir-fry and beer 🍻! It's really fragrant! Be sure to order that roast tofu! It's so delicious, it's the kind of taste I've never eaten before! And it's very close to the Yellow Emperor's Mausoleum.
