Guest UserThis hotel is located in Longtang Miao Village, nestled independently on a mountain outside the village. The drive up can be a bit challenging. The hotel perfectly embodies a 'wild luxury' style, and the room views are impeccable. It's operated by the villagers, meaning the income directly benefits the local community. A staff member will meet you at the hotel parking lot for transfers, and an uncle will help with luggage to your room or the front desk. The hotel's dinner is also excellent; the local rice field fish and river snails were memorable, and the cured pork was absolutely fantastic. Overall, this hotel is a true paradise for relaxation and quiet contemplation. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back.

Great location near the local museum at the north gate. It’s a steep climb around 100 steps to the mid valley hotel. It’s worth the ascent as you are rewarded with breathtaking view of the whole village. This minsu is one of the rare few built with concrete, so no worries that it’s not soundproof. Moreover if you are a cat lover, you can play with more than 2 dozen cats there.
Their courteous and friendly staff will contact you (provided you have a local number ) in advance to help with heavy luggage, else a porter delivery service at a nominal fee of 15 CNY at the entrance can save you the trouble of lugging it on cobblestone footpath on the way from the bus stop. It’s a short walk of 500 m to reach the meeting place.
The minsu is well furnished with aircon and the usual amenities. No breakfast is served but there is no lack of food nearby.

Anonymous UserStaying here was incredibly comfortable and convenient. Compared to many guesthouses within the village that are situated higher up and require climbing numerous stone steps, this guesthouse, located halfway up the mountain, has a remarkably friendly location. The owner even offered to carry our luggage, saving us the effort, and it was just a few minutes' walk up a gentle stone path, making it easy even with a child. We had barely checked in and recovered from our journey when the front desk staff brought us a box of fresh fruit, which was a really thoughtful touch.
The room was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. The overall design was modern and stylish, the facilities were new, and it even featured smart home appliances. The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking, with a unique charm both day and night.
The large floor-to-ceiling glass doors offered panoramic views of the outdoors. In the mornings, wisps of smoke from the terraced houses on the hillside gently rose, adding a touch of life to the serene, emerald-green rice paddies. The stilted houses, built against the mountain, were scattered artfully, creating a tranquil and harmonious pastoral scene with the crisscrossing fields. At sunrise, the golden light cascaded over the dark brown wooden houses and lush green rice fields, bathing the entire village in a warm, golden glow, making the scenery even more vibrant and captivating. At night, lights from every household twinkled like scattered stars across the mountains, arranged in neat rows and patterns, resembling strings of beads hanging in the night sky – truly romantic and beautiful. The Miao village answered every expectation with its beauty; we truly experienced the beautiful Xijiang here.

QianxixinliangI visited Xijiang during the Dragon Boat Festival. This inn is conveniently located not far from Xiaobei Gate, tucked away in an alley next to the museum. There aren't many stairs to climb, and it's very close to the main street. Both the hallways and the rooms in the inn looked very clean. Our room had a balcony, though unfortunately, the view was blocked by the building in front. However, the standard room had two 1.5-meter beds, which was perfect for a family stay. The owners of the inn were incredibly warm and hospitable. The owner even came to pick up our luggage when we arrived at Xiaobei Gate. The next day, I felt a bit shy asking him to drop us off again, so we just walked back to Xiaobei Gate ourselves. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Guest UserWhat made my trip to Qianhu Miao Village truly unforgettable was the incredibly warm experience at this hidden gem of a guesthouse.
First and foremost, I have to give a shout-out to our butler, Xiao Cheng. His service was truly proactive and thoughtful! Even before we arrived at Miao Village, Xiao Cheng reached out to us, providing detailed directions and important tips. When our navigation ended and we were a bit lost trying to find the guesthouse, he promptly appeared, greeted us warmly, and even escorted us all the way to check-in, saving us a lot of hassle after a long journey.
The guesthouse's breakfast was not only photogenic but also delicious 🤤. In the afternoon, enjoying a leisurely afternoon tea on the terrace, watching the vibrant life of Miao Village outside the window, time seemed to slow down. But the most touching detail was undoubtedly the piping hot 'Goodnight Snow Swallow and Tremella Soup' served before bed. After a day of sightseeing, a sip of that sweet and nourishing dessert instantly washed away all the fatigue.
Here, service isn't just a process; it's genuine care from the heart. Butler Xiao Cheng and the guesthouse team perfectly define 'feeling at home' with their enthusiasm and meticulous attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Traveling with my elderly parents and young child to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, I was worried about all the stairs. After searching online, I found this place which claimed to be right by the road with no uphill climbing. True to their word, the sightseeing bus drops you off directly at the entrance. The hostess was already waiting by the road, and she kindly helped us with our luggage. The guesthouse even has an elevator, making it completely hassle-free for seniors. We were also treated to complimentary afternoon tea and a refreshing mung bean soup in the evening. Our panorama room offered stunning views of the entire Miao village lit up at night – no need to jostle for space at the viewing platform, we could enjoy the spectacular night scenery right from our room.

I highly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely fantastic, both day and night! It's truly the best vantage point in the entire scenic area. Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

Comfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and equipped with smart controls, making it very comfortable and modern. It is the same as the picture. They had a lift too which is suitable for seniors and children.
The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with several parcel collections from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. At the last minute, they even helped purchase a birthday cake for my nephew from the city, which we truly appreciated.
The location is excellent, with plenty of food options nearby. It’s also a great alternative for families who want to explore the area without staying in the Ancient Town — dragging luggage and changing buses there can be challenging. Whenever we were tired, we could simply take a Didi back to the hotel, and it drops you right at the door.
Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

Guest UserAfter getting off the bullet train at Kaili South Station, we took a taxi to the North Gate of the Miao Village, then a sightseeing bus to the Small North Gate. From there, we walked into the scenic area to the No. 6 Wind and Rain Bridge and contacted the owner to help us with our luggage. It was raining heavily with the sun the day we checked in, which was a huge help. The owner even sent a map explaining the terrain, showing great thoughtfulness. The room was spacious and bright, with two air conditioners that cooled the room quickly. There was a TV with screen mirroring. The small balcony offered a great view. The bathroom and shower were large and very clean, and the drainage was excellent, drying quickly instead of being constantly damp.
