"Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village Xiangsu Light Luxury Hotel was absolutely stunning! The service was warm and attentive; they proactively helped with luggage and offered tips for exploring. The room was clean and elegant, with an incredible panoramic view. At night, you're surrounded by the myriad lights of the Miao village. Their viewing platform has unique features like 'reaching for the roof,' an internet-famous bed, and an infinity pool – every photo you take turns out perfectly. Plus, their dining and travel photography services are excellent; the food was delicious, and the photographer was very professional. It's a perfect luxury experience, highly recommended!"

"The hotel is really easy to find, right in the city center, which makes getting around by car super convenient. They have two levels of underground parking and an outdoor lot. The room decor is very stylish and, more importantly, the room was clean and odor-free, which I really appreciated because I absolutely can't stand smelly rooms. On the day we checked in, we also tried the seafood buffet on the fourth floor, and it was incredibly plentiful and delicious. A truly full and satisfying experience!"

"The B&B is very close to Bridge No. 1 and not far from where Baidu cars can drop you off, so the location is excellent. They can also help with your luggage. The room has a fantastic view, overlooking the entire Miao village, and the lights at night are especially beautiful. We were lucky to have clear weather, so the daytime view was also superb. It's very convenient to get to the cable car from the Xiaobeimen (Small North Gate). The room itself was very clean and warm, with air conditioning and an electric blanket. It was a really great experience, and the owner even has cute cats!"

"After taking a car from Dabeimen to Xiaobeimen, the guesthouse staff came to pick us up (and helped carry our luggage). We then followed a small path next to Bridge No. 6 all the way up to the guesthouse (there were signposts along the way). The room was fully equipped, spacious, and bright, with a great view outside the window. We were given welcome tea and snacks, and there was a capsule coffee machine in the room. In the morning, noodle breakfast was provided. The butler service was excellent and efficient!"

"What a fantastic experience! This was our first time staying in a cave-themed room, and my child was absolutely thrilled. The room's amenities were excellent, with a Tmall Genie and Hansgrohe bathroom fixtures that worked perfectly. Plus, we had a fantastic view of Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village right from our window, which was incredibly convenient.
The guesthouse staff contacted us in advance, even coming to pick us up at Xiao Bei Men (Small North Gate), helping with our luggage, and explaining the route – they were so welcoming. The afternoon tea was a delightful surprise for my child and a great energy boost. Although breakfast was simple, it was more than enough, featuring local specialty rice noodles, eggs, sweet potatoes, and corn. The owner even provided local milk, making it a protein-packed meal. We are extremely satisfied with this guesthouse!"

"Cheng and his wife, the owners of the hotel went above and beyond with their service. Even though the communication was not easy through the translate app, they helped as much as they could.
They came to pick me up from the bust station, he took my luggage on his motorbike. They helped me to navigate around town. Cheng helped me purchase the bus back to the train station and even took me all the way to the bus. They are very lovely hosts.
The hotel lies in a quiet area and within easy reach of the main road and a short walk to the bridges.
The room had a huge comfortable bed, with clean sheets and towel as also a very cozy duvet. The room has also amenities like hair dryer and kettle. My room had a balcony with a nice view to the surrounding houses.
I can only recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed."

The top floor observation deck offers a panoramic view of the Miao Village! Taking a cup of coffee up there was a wonderful time."

GGuest UserWorld class service! I feel very welcomed by the staffs even days before our trip. They are great at communicating with us and answered any questions and provided anything we needed! The room is so comfortable and aesthetic!! I didn’t wanna leave the room lol. There’s a complimentary bath and I picked the herbal bath. They prepared it very well by deep sanitizing the bathtub and brewing the herbal bath. We also did our laundry while we stayed there. There are a lot of traditional Miao Tribe clothes that we can put on and take photos for free. One of the staffs took photos for me and my family with their camera. She also helped me put on accessories. The view is amazing and the location is perfect for our stay. Their staff picked us up at the little north gate and carried our luggages all the way up to our hotel and they did the same baggage delivery service when we are leaving. Words cannot describe how thoughtful and excellent their services is. I will book this hotel again in our future visit to the Miao village and I highly recommend it to anyone!

DDreams2014I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time! The biggest highlight was the view; it was incredibly expansive, and the scenery changed beautifully from morning to night, which really lifted my spirits. The room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were complete, making it feel just as cozy as home. I truly recommend it to everyone! The butler was also very thoughtful. Due to road maintenance at the scenic area's west gate, they even arranged a car to take us from the north gate to the west gate parking lot. The overall experience was excellent. If I come back again, this will definitely be my first choice! 👍

GGuest UserService: The day before check-in, the housekeeper contacted us to provide thoughtful check-in instructions and parking advice. From the moment we arrived at the scenic area's ticket gate, the housekeeper helped us with our luggage all the way to our room, and on our way back, they also helped us carry our bags to the exit. They even upgraded us to a spacious duplex room, thanks to Cola the housekeeper – truly excellent! 👍 Upon arrival, we were given an electronic or paper map of the scenic area, and they explained recommended sightseeing routes and attractions. We also enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea after checking in, perfect for photos. Most importantly, I had originally planned a professional photoshoot, but ended up DIY-ing two outfits from the hotel, which turned out beautifully, saving me hundreds on photography fees!
Hygiene and Environment: No need to elaborate, the location is superb, right at the viewing platform. You arrive as soon as you get off the sightseeing bus, which is very convenient. The best part is that you don't even need to leave the guesthouse to enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the Miao Village from your own room's viewing balcony or the hotel lobby's terrace.
Booking this place outside of holidays is definitely a steal – it truly lives up to its reputation! Many thanks to Cola the housekeeper for their thoughtful care.

AAnonymous UserHygiene: As a cleanliness freak, I was quite satisfied. The linens were clean. However, there were quite a few insect carcasses on the walls, so make sure to close the balcony door promptly after opening it.
Environment: The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, so the views are great. It's perfect for relaxing on the balcony both morning and evening, and you can also take night photos from your room. What I wasn't happy about is that there's a bar near the hotel. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to avoid this place. On the night we stayed, the music, which was incredibly loud, only stopped around 0:30, probably after someone complained. Even after the music stopped, a group of people kept shouting until very late. Since the main structure of the building seems to be wooden, the soundproofing is very poor, making it impossible to sleep. I suggest the owner talk to the bar about their operating hours, as there are many guesthouses nearby, and everyone is likely losing sleep.
Service: You can contact the owner in advance to help with luggage, which is very convenient.
Facilities: As shown in the pictures, the projector wasn't very functional. I wanted to watch TV when I couldn't sleep due to the bar noise, but I couldn't.

She meticulously took care of everything for us and also introduced us to the unique attractions of the Miao village. The most delightful thing was that she suggested and helped us arrange a photography session. She also helped us with our laundry and organized our clothes. On our last night at the hotel, she helped arranged luggage shipping and a chartered car to Kaili to catch the high-speed train. This made our hotel stay a very pleasant experience. We are very grateful to 小夢。We found staff members in this hotel very kind and friendly to the guests. I remember every morning at breakfast, a male staff member was always sincere and kind, and always very concerned about our needs. We are also very grateful to him. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

GGuest UserI never expected the biggest surprise of my trip to be this guesthouse in the Miao Village! 💕 The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the observation deck. If you enter from the West Gate, you just walk a bit and then take the shuttle bus directly to the hotel. This is quite important in Miao Village, as you wouldn't want to carry your luggage up and down. You can enjoy the view from both the room and the lobby lounge. On a rainy day, this spot is perfect for enjoying the scenery, much better than being out with all the other tourists. The room facilities are very new and high-quality, definitely on par with a five-star hotel. The mini-fridge in the room is thoughtfully stocked with drinks, and we were even treated to afternoon tea upon arrival. Self-service laundry is also available, which was super convenient since our clothes were damp from the past two days – we could wash and dry them. The housekeeper was incredibly warm and friendly; she handled our transfers and helped us with our luggage the whole way. Breakfast is made-to-order, very fresh and delicious. If you're traveling to Xijiang, I truly highly recommend this guesthouse.

Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

GGuest UserTwo days ago, I went on a business trip to Kaili with my colleagues. We decided to stay in Qianhu Miao Village for one night, so the hotel was booked casually. But it really exceeded our expectations. My colleagues and I were very satisfied. Excellent service attitude: To be honest, service attitude is the soul of a homestay. It is really healing to be well respected and served when you are away from home. We started by booking the hotel. Brother Liu sent the address and told us the route to the hotel in detail. When we arrived at the place, there would be a special person to pick us up. From the door to the homestay, the brother would also explain to us constantly and wait patiently for us to take pictures. In the evening, the brother took us to the rooftop, where there were free rice wine and peach wine to taste (rice wine and peach wine were really delicious). The view of the rooftop was even more beautiful. The brother and sister had a very good attitude throughout the whole process, very careful, and a great sense of proportion. I was ”great, thank you, thank you ☺️” throughout the whole process. Hotel facilities: Objectively speaking, we booked a basic room type, so the house area was a little cramped, and the house facilities were not too new. But!!! Looking out from the facilities in the room, the scenery is really amazing! Open the window, the bright moon in the mountains, the breeze, thousands of bright lights ~ at that moment, I really felt that this trip was worth it.

GGuest UserI stayed in Xijiang Miao Village for two nights, and I'm so glad I chose this guesthouse. From my bed, I could overlook the stunning spectacle of a thousand households lit up at night. In the morning, opening the window revealed terraced fields and stilt houses shrouded in mist, like a traditional Chinese ink painting. The location is perfect – the surroundings are quiet, yet it's just a short walk to the bustling center of Miao Village. Plus, there's no need to climb stairs with luggage; the host contacted us in advance, guided us, and even helped carry our bags to the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. Watching the thousand-household Miao Village from the balcony at night with a gentle breeze was an absolutely perfect experience! Every little corner of the guesthouse has a great ambiance: the outdoor balcony, rooftop, fire pit, and cafe. The room was clean and cozy, and the housekeeper provided attentive service throughout our stay. In the morning, there was a comforting breakfast, and the hot noodle soup was absolutely delicious!
