"Originally, I planned to go straight from Chongqing to Guiyang for a food tour, but then I stumbled upon this village online and saw reviews praising this hotel. I booked a room overnight, and it truly lived up to expectations. The butler provided pick-up and drop-off service at the scenic area entrance, even helping with luggage all the way to the room. When we checked in, the proprietress saw we were hot and immediately brought us chilled watermelon. The service was absolutely fantastic! The hotel also offers complimentary ethnic clothing rentals for photoshoots, and everyone complimented how beautiful they looked when we wore them around the village. The room was spacious, and the two 1.5-meter double beds could easily accommodate four people. There's even a balcony. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance. I also got my hair done outside for 20 yuan."

GGuest UserI highly recommend the Wutongshu B&B in Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village! The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offer direct views of the entire Miao village. During the day, you can gaze down at the terraced stilt houses and mountain mists, and at night, lie back and watch the twinkling lights of countless homes. You get to enjoy stunning views without having to jostle for space at a viewpoint. The owner and housekeeper are exceptionally warm and welcoming. They helped with our luggage in advance, provided thoughtful guidance on travel routes, and even prepared warm tea. Their gentle and enthusiastic hospitality, full of genuine human touch, made our stay comfortable and restorative. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation when visiting Miao Village!

ZZkkzqqThis is a fantastic guesthouse! I don't usually like staying in guesthouses because I always feel the environment and cleanliness are disappointing. This time, however, I wanted to see the night view of the Miao Village, so I had no choice but to stay within the scenic area. I chose two listed guesthouses and compared them before booking Yue She. It certainly didn't disappoint! First, their service was incredibly thoughtful. Even at 9 pm, they sent two staff members to pick us up at the North Gate, help with our luggage, and show us the way. The hotel's exterior is unassuming, but the interior is surprisingly spacious and charming. Sitting on the terrace in my room, I had a panoramic view of the entire Miao Village at night – absolutely amazing! The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable; you could tell the owners had put a lot of thought into it, paying attention to detail. The lovely receptionist was incredibly warm and attentive, the young butler was also very considerate, and the experienced steward truly touched me, helping us carry our largest suitcase up and down the stairs. The breakfast wasn't lavish, but it tasted like home. Overall, I was very satisfied!

Cchenxiyuyan2016First of all, this was a solo trip. I read some great reviews online and booked this place. After arriving, I felt I made the right choice. Let me tell you about the advantages of this guesthouse: 1. Located on a mountaintop, you can overlook the night view of the Miao village from your room. 2. It's quiet on the mountaintop. 3. The transportation issue that everyone worries about is completely unnecessary, as the guesthouse owner will pick you up or take you to the entrance by sightseeing bus. The owner and his wife are also very kind and welcoming, and the service is superb. On the day of check-out, you can leave your luggage at the guesthouse and walk down to Xiaobeimen, where the owner even helped bring your luggage down, saving me a lot of trouble and allowing me to avoid dragging my luggage. 4. The room is also great, fully smart, and very quiet. Opening the window in the morning, the fresh air, the light morning mist, the crowing of roosters, and the chorus of birds in the mountains create a melodious atmosphere that allows you to forget all your worries and feel as if you are one with nature. I wish I could grow old slowly in this environment.

CCongmingniuajingThe room was spotless and very clean. The loft space upstairs was quite large. The best part was the balcony view; you could see the entire Miao village from there, and both the daytime and nighttime scenery were fantastic. No need to jostle with crowds at the observation deck!
The butler service was excellent. They helped us with our luggage upon arrival and provided a delicious afternoon tea.
The guesthouse is right by the road, so no climbing stairs, which is great for seniors and children. The only minor issue is that it's quite close to the observation deck, so the road noise at night was a little bit loud. However, the location is superb, the room is clean, and the service is top-notch. We had a very comfortable stay.

GGuest UserThe room looks exactly like the pictures, clean and cozy, with complete facilities. The view is also excellent; you can see the rice terraces during the day and the village lights at night. It's only a two-minute walk from where we got off to the guesthouse, and the two young guys working there were very helpful with our luggage. The breakfast was delicious! They even helped us with our luggage when we checked out. The landlord responded promptly to our messages and quickly resolved any issues. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit!

You could see the panoramic view of the entire Miao Village right from the window. Plus, there were so many spots perfect for photos, and they even had a bonfire at night.

YYeung JThe room was spotless, with a lovely Japanese-style feel to it. The toilet was smart, and the shower pressure was strong and invigorating. The bedsheets and duvet covers were incredibly smooth and comfortable.
Although the room was a bit small, it was perfectly functional for our needs!
Plus, there was an abundance of bottled water available for guests to take freely right outside the room, next to the elevator!
The location truly couldn't be better – it's incredibly close to the observation deck, just a 2-minute walk away!
From the parking lot, two young staff members helped us carry our luggage, and their service attitude was excellent. They were smiling and friendly the whole way, even introducing us to nearby attractions.
All the attractions were within a 30-minute walk of the accommodation.
There were all sorts of restaurants everywhere, and many snack stalls along the way! We tried the specialty tofu pudding, fried potato shreds, and more…
There were also many massage parlors. We went for a foot bath after dinner.
But the best part was: our room directly overlooked a sea of lights! We sat on the balcony sofa in the evening, at night, and in the morning, just enjoying the view! It felt almost the same as being at the observation deck itself!
The hotel's restaurant also had hammocks (swings), which were super relaxing! We sat on them in the evening and in the morning – so incredibly therapeutic!
The breakfast provided was also rich and varied, including pho, corn, sweet potatoes, fruit, tofu, and milk!
When we left, the young staff from the guesthouse also helped us carry our luggage all the way to the parking lot. They were just as cheerful and pleasant as before!

GGuest UserXijiang Surprise Mid-Mountain View B&B was a wonderful surprise! The environment is tranquil, surrounded by lush greenery, and the stilt-house design creates such an authentic atmosphere. The panoramic windows in the rooms offer incredible views; you can lie in bed and overlook the entire Miao village. In the evening, the sight of countless lights illuminating the village is breathtaking, and you don't even need to fight the crowds at the scenic viewpoints. What really stood out was the thoughtful hostess. She contacted us in advance to help with our itinerary, assisted us with our luggage upon arrival, and thoroughly explained the local attractions. She even proactively upgraded us to a room with an even better view, free of charge. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the communal terrace was perfect for photos. The service was gentle and attentive. With both amazing views and excellent service, staying here in Xijiang was absolutely a fantastic choice!

Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

GGuest UserI couldn’t be happier with this hotel! Every staff member was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay.
Before we even arrived, they gave us multiple transportation options to reach the North Gate, where visitors purchase tickets to enter the village. They then met us at the gate, helped us buy our tickets, stored our larger luggage, and guided us through the village to our homestay. They even carried our smaller bags all the way to our room.
Along the way, they encouraged me to participate in the village’s traditional welcoming ceremony and treated us to a delicious bowl of noodle soup since we hadn’t eaten yet.
What really made this stay unforgettable was that they became our personal tour guide for the day. The tour was educational, fun, and perfectly paced for us. This was a special mother-and-son trip, and my son couldn’t stop talking about how exceptional the service was. Out of our multi-city journey through China, this may have been our favorite stop.
To top it all off, they arranged our Didi to the train station and personally escorted us back to the North Gate when it was time to leave.
Xiao Guanji and A Rui, you are simply the best! Thank you for making our trip so memorable. We’ll never forget your kindness and hospitality!
