This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"Staying at Xijiang Qianhu Luanxi Yunshe was an absolute delight! The room was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy, with an overall elegant and comfortable atmosphere. The owners are a super friendly team of post-00s concierges. Their service was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive throughout our entire stay. The guesthouse's location is superb, with the garden scenery blending perfectly with the beauty of Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village. From the balcony, you can overlook the entire village, take in all the Wind-and-Rain Bridges, and enjoy the soothing sound of the gurgling stream – it's truly serene and pleasant. In the morning, the rising sun bathed the room in warm light. The balcony was equipped with a rocking chair, a bathtub, and a lounge chair, making it perfect for enjoying the view, taking a relaxing bath, or simply unwinding. The breakfast was simple yet exquisite, nutritious, and delicious. This is definitely my top recommendation for anyone visiting Xijiang Miao Village – highly recommended!"

In terms of transportation, Kaili Huangping Airport is approximately 56km away. Kaili Huangping Airport is approximately 56km away by road. Famous local attractions Xijiang Miao Village - Century-old Stilted Buildings, Xijiang Qianhu Miaozhai Scenic Area - Lushengchang and Shang Jiang Lou, can all be reached with a short walk. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"I booked a room on the second floor, and the night view from there was amazing – no need to jostle with crowds at the observation deck! There's an open-air area next to it where lots of people take photos, and it does get a bit noisy at night. However, the owner mentioned this multiple times, so I was prepared. In fact, it was quite nice to go out for some late-night street food when I couldn't sleep. All the toiletries were disposable, and the shower gel and other products were local brands, which I felt were more reliable than those chemical products in dispensers. The room was full of thoughtful reminders, and the pillows were super comfortable. The location is excellent, right next to the observation deck."

"The homestay is near the No. 1 Bridge. The housekeeper sent us the check-in instructions in advance. The guide was picked up at the No. 1 Bridge. It was very intimate. It was very convenient to go anywhere in this location. There were basically no steps on the way to the homestay. A little slow slope, it is very good to walk in the mountains, The new homestay is comfortable, clean, with a viewing platform and garden, taking pictures, beautiful scenery, breakfast is local meat powder, very fragrant to eat, very worth it, very worth it! Really recommend!"

KKaryn SiewThis boutique hotel presents an amazing surprise in the depths of the Miao Village. The rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art Smart Home systems. For example, one could control the curtains and lighting with verbal commands—in mandarin. There was a slide and ball pit in our room, which was a bonus. The bathtub is one of the largest offerings we have encountered and come with a herbal bath services that is included with the booking fee. Whilst the hotel doesn’t have round-the-clock room service, one could ask the front desk for help with food orders by means of a local food delivery app. Our McDonalds order arrived within half an hour. The hotel provides Miao traditional clothes for guests to wear and take photos, free of charge. Last but not least, the hotel rooms provide a beautiful and unblocked view of the Miao village and the mountainous terrain. The hotel crew that we met were extremely helpful, and would help provide additional lighting for night photo shoots, carry your bags, and also bring food to your room. Xiao Ning, Xiao Hai and Xiao Kai were really wonderful hotel staff who went the extra mile to make our stay most comfortable and memorable. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

GGuest User✅ First, the positives: The butler service was excellent. They picked us up from the station and helped with our luggage the whole way. The journey from the station to the hotel was about 10-15 minutes, not particularly strenuous. Second, the hotel's location offers unbeatable views – just check out the real-life photos I posted. Upon arrival, drinks were prepared in the lobby. Similarly, there were two servings of the evening soup, which I believe is based on the room type booked, so I'm not sure if other price-point rooms offer this. A particularly pleasant surprise was the excellent speaker in the room. I don't know the brand, but the sound quality was fantastic, a real bonus. ⚠️ Now for a few drawbacks: The hotel's room preparation time was excessively long. This wasn't an isolated incident, as I observed almost all guests waiting in the lobby for over 40 minutes. Those with less patience might find this quite trying. ✉️ Finally, a few suggestions I hope will be adopted: As shown in picture (2), my room came with a private hot spring bath. However, the candles, petals, and bath bombs (which turn the water pink and add fragrance) were all items I brought myself. For a hotel with such a wonderful ambiance, I hope they can add these kinds of services (petals cost less than 10 yuan, candles about 5 yuan, bath bombs are pricier at around 20 yuan each and you'd need about 6, but cheaper ones are available on the market, and the hotel could perhaps purchase them in bulk). My room rate was 2680 yuan, and I believe adding these services would significantly enhance the experience, especially since customers choosing this price point are mostly young couples. I hope this suggestion can be taken into consideration. Overall, I'm still happy to give a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 five-star rating. I wish the hotel proprietor a prosperous business and all travelers visiting Miaozhai Village a pleasant journey.

JJWCchunchunTraveling with my parents and two kids, a family of four, during the 6-day Spring Festival and Qingming holiday. The suite-style design was perfect, with a single bed for my parents and a king-size bed for my husband, child, and me. The room windows offered a direct view of the night cityscape, and there were two viewing platforms, great for taking photos. It's a bit of a shame that the windows don't have mosquito screens; if you open them, there are quite a lot of bugs, but if you don't, the air doesn't circulate well. In the morning, the chickens downstairs crowed, which was a bit like an alarm clock.

GGrace W_WGetting from the scenic area parking lot into any hotels in Qianhu Miao village can be very challenging. You would need to walk over 600 meters with luggage, queue for a local shuttle, and then walk or climb stairs again to reach whatever hotel you book. As a solo traveler with my young daughter and two suitcases, this initially felt overwhelming when thinking about this idea . I’m truely glad that I chose to stay with this hotel. Before we arrived, the staff proactively contacted me via WeChat and sent someone to meet us at the ticket checkpoint outside of the village to help with our luggage, and guide us onto the shuttle. This thoughtful assistance made a huge difference. The hotel’s location was perfect, right next to the viewing platform. After getting off the electric shuttle, it took only one minute walk to reach the lobby. The views from the lobby, rooftop, and room are absolutely stunning. We didn’t need to visit crowded public viewpoints — enjoying the sparkling night view of the Miao village from our room was more than enough. The Breakfast was generous and delicious, with surprisingly good coffee. A very good sour fish soup restaurant is located nearby. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. They patiently taught my daughter the Miao ethnic batik indigo dye — she loved it so much that she couldn’t stop. On the fifth floor, the hotel also offers a variety of ethnic costumes for photo shoots. Even after checkout, they still helped carry our luggage all the way to the parking lot, which was truly appreciated. Although our stay was short, we could truly feel the care, attention to detail, and kindness from everyone at the hotel. Staying here felt more like being at home than at a hotel. We will definitely come back again and stay for longer. Strongly recommended!

GGuest UserTwo days ago, I went on a business trip to Kaili with my colleagues. We decided to stay in Qianhu Miao Village for one night, so the hotel was booked casually. But it really exceeded our expectations. My colleagues and I were very satisfied. Excellent service attitude: To be honest, service attitude is the soul of a homestay. It is really healing to be well respected and served when you are away from home. We started by booking the hotel. Brother Liu sent the address and told us the route to the hotel in detail. When we arrived at the place, there would be a special person to pick us up. From the door to the homestay, the brother would also explain to us constantly and wait patiently for us to take pictures. In the evening, the brother took us to the rooftop, where there were free rice wine and peach wine to taste (rice wine and peach wine were really delicious). The view of the rooftop was even more beautiful. The brother and sister had a very good attitude throughout the whole process, very careful, and a great sense of proportion. I was ”great, thank you, thank you ☺️” throughout the whole process. Hotel facilities: Objectively speaking, we booked a basic room type, so the house area was a little cramped, and the house facilities were not too new. But!!! Looking out from the facilities in the room, the scenery is really amazing! Open the window, the bright moon in the mountains, the breeze, thousands of bright lights ~ at that moment, I really felt that this trip was worth it. Wall! Crack! Recommend!

HHailiwoniuI highly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely fantastic, both day and night! It's truly the best vantage point in the entire scenic area. Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

HHuiziyanDecided to visit Guizhou for the Chinese New Year, so I booked this B&B early. The price was great, and all the accommodations on our Guizhou trip were fantastic. This particular B&B has an excellent location; it's just twenty or thirty steps down from the scenic viewpoint in the area. There's also a popular photo spot for travel photography right next to the house. We didn't have to get up too early the next morning, and since no one else was there, we spent half the day taking pictures. We only realized just before leaving that the guesthouse has its own viewpoint with amazing scenery. Our room was clean and tidy, and the view from the window was stunning. The owner was incredibly hospitable, helping us with our luggage, offering tangerines to our child, and even suggesting routes for us. When we came back late after taking photos one evening, I called the owner to ask for an extra pillow. He had just fallen asleep and was woken up, but he wasn't impatient at all. Many say that Qianjiang Miao Village is too commercialized, but exploring it at night, or early in the morning before the crowds arrive, and taking photos in Miao ethnic clothing is still quite enjoyable. The pictures below show the view from the guesthouse at night and in the morning.

GGuest UserI stayed in Xijiang Miao Village for two nights, and I'm so glad I chose this guesthouse. From my bed, I could overlook the stunning spectacle of a thousand households lit up at night. In the morning, opening the window revealed terraced fields and stilt houses shrouded in mist, like a traditional Chinese ink painting. The location is perfect – the surroundings are quiet, yet it's just a short walk to the bustling center of Miao Village. Plus, there's no need to climb stairs with luggage; the host contacted us in advance, guided us, and even helped carry our bags to the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. Watching the thousand-household Miao Village from the balcony at night with a gentle breeze was an absolutely perfect experience! Every little corner of the guesthouse has a great ambiance: the outdoor balcony, rooftop, fire pit, and cafe. The room was clean and cozy, and the housekeeper provided attentive service throughout our stay. In the morning, there was a comforting breakfast, and the hot noodle soup was absolutely delicious!

TTey katelynI love the view of the hotel, although some of the furniture's are a little bit torn in the living room but the ones in the room are clean and tidy ! The owner has a really cute corgi, and he's very friendly in guiding us despite calling him multiple times a day to ask him for direction , bus transfer, and luggage transfer. I would recommend not to bring too heavy items like I did because the route to the hotel is a bit far and difficult until the bus station. It's a really chill hotel that's near another viewing point for the paddy field . The design is good too! Thanks to the kitchen , I managed to cook my own supper, and there's a convenience store right outside the hotel too. (Good-looking owner if you're wondering) You can even order luggage pick up service when you're leaving (at a price). There's also some food delivery available thru *******. That's all for my stay! I'll miss the cute corgi 🤍
