Mountain View Hotels in Leishan

Generally speaking, it's OK, mainly because the environment is good and quiet in a busy city, but the service is really average. There are several questions and suggestions: 1. Although the breakfast is arranged in a nine-square grid, it looks good in photos and the noodles are delicious, but the breakfast is exactly the same every day, which is a bit ordinary and has no novelty; 2. It is not convenient to have only one trash can in such a large space of the family room, and there is no full-length mirror. The air conditioner is a bit loud; 3. The main problem is the service. The room we booked included a pick-up service. Because the high-speed train was at 9:00 the next morning, we asked the waiter one day in advance to help book a car for 8:40. When we had breakfast at 8:30, we also reminded the front desk waiter that we were leaving at 8:45 and asked for help to book a car. As a result, we were leaving at 8:45 and the car would not arrive for another 10 minutes... The waiter was not in a hurry. Later, we took a taxi and it arrived in three or four minutes... It was really speechless... It almost delayed things.

The view from this Guesthouse was fantastic, the stairs to get to the Guesthouse a little difficult. If you are elderly or not fit maybe consider staying somewhere lower. In saying that the host was very helpful and carrying our bags up for us and he was very friendly and accommodating.  The town itself has become quite commercialised but it is still beautiful to see the architecture and go for a hike into the rice terraces. 

Came here to join in the fun of Leishan Miao Nian, Langde is not far away, so I stayed here for one night. Both Mafengwo and Zhiyou Leishan recommended this B&B. The location is very good. It is in the middle, and you can see the Banmen Winery from the balcony. , the boss’s beef in sour soup is also delicious, the beef is fresh beef, but the hotel should be newly renovated, the formaldehyde smell of the wooden materials in the corridor of the room is very strong, the windshield next to the sink is full of mold, and there is no TV in the room. Langde still looks like a relatively simple native village. There are many elderly maids, so the decoration in the village should be pretty good! You can experience it for one night!

This time, the accommodation experience in Qianhu Miao Village is simply amazing! The location of the homestay is excellent, just one minute away from the observation deck. You can see the entire stacked stilt houses and the dazzling night view by opening the window. In the evening, watching the smoke rising, it's like walking into a moving landscape painting. The room is super cozy, the bedding is soft and clean, the hygiene is very clean, the facilities in the house are very complete, the surrounding environment is beautiful, the disposable supplies prepared in the room are very complete, and the details are full of care. The boss is very enthusiastic, not only helping to plan the tour route in advance, but also recommending authentic food. I strongly recommend it to all friends who come to Miao Village. I will definitely stay here next time!

Indeed, I did not expect that the penthouse penthouse floor plan has many steps. No matter when entering the bedroom, from the bed to the bathroom, or out of the bathroom, there are steps, which made me a little anxious. There is a 71-year-old mother on the top and a 7-year-old child on the bottom. If I had known earlier, I would have booked a flat-floor apartment. If it fell, the hotel's compensation would be negligible. The highlight of the hotel is the decoration, and the service is also enthusiastic, and they actively help with luggage. A small reminder, I mentioned children in the order, but I forgot to put a child's toothbrush and toothpaste in the room. I also forgot the shower cap. I think a shower cap is definitely a must-have. Being traveling, it is inevitable to wash some small things. Hand soap is not enough, so I asked for laundry detergent later.

The hotel is located mid-hill with panoramic views as seen in my photos. Room was clean and service is friendly, there is a porter who helped to carry our luggage from the observation deck to the hotel after the shuttle dropped us off. The family room is very large with three partitions: kids room, parents room and a small living area with sofa and writing desk. They also provide washing machine and dryer for self service. The aircon in the room provides both heating and cooling function which is very useful for cold nights on the mountain. To get to the village Main Street where all the performances, restaurants and attractions are, you will need to climb down the hill and back up again to return. Hence it’s not advisable for those with very young children or old people with mobility issues to stay here.

When checking in, the front desk girl was very friendly and upgraded to a mountain view room when she saw that there were elderly people traveling with her. The room was clean, spacious, bright and comfortable. The work and student rooms were separated into dry and wet areas, and there was a large bathtub, which made daily life easy. There was also a large balcony, where you could see the mountains in the distance. It was a good choice to stay in Qiancengshan Room!

The hotel located just next to the observatory deck. Change 2 shuttle bus that is not far from the entrance. The hotel is so nice and the staying experience was superb. We were been upgraded to a balcony room. The room is clean and cozy, served with a plate of fresh fruits, drinks and juice. Package includes a free batik handmade experience that is interesting, we like our masterpiece . They provided a free Miao costume to try on and we went out to take pictures at the observatory deck, that saved the cost of renting it at other shop. Free cocktail at their Rebirth Bar. We ordered other Cocktail there and that’s awesome. Drinks we ordered is so nice ! Overall the staying experience is very highly recommended.

If you want to find a quiet place where you can ”live in the human world without the noise of cars and horses” during the holidays, you can choose Longtang Mountain House, a homestay hidden on the hillside of Longtang Village, Leishan County, Kaili. Sitting in front of the floor-to-ceiling window in the room, you can see the layers of terraces and the scattered Miao villages at the foot of the mountain. In the morning, you can see the misty ink paintings, and in the middle of the night, you can see the shadowy lights. The guest room bathroom will be prepared with all kinds of thoughtful goodies (see pictures), and freshly picked roses are also carefully prepared. A romantic petal bath will instantly wash away the fatigue of the journey. In addition, the fruit plate, the sweet soup that warms the stomach late at night, and the attentive service of the housekeeper on call 24 hours a day are all super good (especially the winding bluestone steps leading to the room, and our carry-on luggage was carried up by the housekeeper) There is a quiet hiking trail behind the homestay that leads to Longtang Village. Stroll along the stone road, get close to nature, walk into the simple life of the locals, enter the village, see children playing and fighting, adults farming in the terraced fields, and feel the most authentic atmosphere of fireworks. The enthusiasm of the store manager and the tour guide Xiaowen is even more unforgettable. They will chat with us like old friends, from the traditional festivals of the Miao people to the local specialties, and give us a plate of local beef for dinner.

We are very happy with our stay in this hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room is big and clean. We were provided with a fruit basket and nice biscuits. Breakfast is good, too. Getting into the village is not so convenient, though. We came from the West Entrance. We need to take a coach, walk through a shopping alley, then take another bus and a short walk before reaching the hotel. The hotel staff met us at the bus stop and helped to carry our luggage.
