"Due to heavy rain at Xiaoqikong, our family of four spontaneously changed our plans and headed to Xijiang Miao Village. The entire experience, from booking to check-in, exceeded our expectations. Both the front desk staff, a young man and a young woman, were incredibly enthusiastic and answered all our questions. The batik experience was also surprisingly good. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the observation deck and right next to the shuttle bus stop. Our room overlooked the terraced fields and mountains, shrouded in mist. My mom, with her sharp eyes, spotted a small ginger cat strolling along the field paths. Later, I happened to capture the cat foraging for itself: it astonishingly caught a large fish from the rice paddies in no time and then enjoyed a hearty meal in the nearby cornfield. We even received a thoughtful little gift when we checked out. All in all, the room's location, cleanliness, and environment were all excellent!"

"There was no water in the room at first, and then the hot water came intermittently, sometimes there and sometimes not. I told the front desk, but the front desk replied that it was impossible, and they were reluctant to change rooms. They told me that it would be noisy if I changed rooms, and there were no other rooms to arrange (in fact, the room was not full). In the end, although the water was not hot, we didn't want to change rooms, so we just stayed there. There was no wifi in the subsequent room, and the front desk insisted that it was the room number. I went to the front desk, and the front desk replied that you definitely can't connect to the front desk (I couldn't connect to the front desk before I asked the front desk), and the attitude was always distrustful. Later, I asked a technician to check it out, and the wifi name was not the room number at all. I originally chose the hotel because it was endorsed by the Guizhou Cultural Tourism and Government, but the service was so bad. When the guest raised a problem, the front desk's first reaction was that the guest was talking nonsense, and there was no solution. I hope to strengthen the professional training of the front desk, which is really too black."

"The room had an overwhelmingly strong fragrance; when asked, it turned out the air freshener hadn't been turned off. The hallway and room smelled pungent, yet not a single staff member addressed the issue or checked whether the rooms on each floor met check-in standards before allowing guests to check in. Did the hotel provide basic staff training? The front desk staff couldn't even understand the booking details, not knowing which booking date or order was made. There was a complete lack of proper service attitude and awareness. Has the hotel management implemented detailed staff division of labor and provided staff training? The employees are undisciplined and lack professionalism. This is not how a mature hotel should operate. Given these numerous problems, I question the competence of the hotel's housekeeping management."

"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. When we checked in they upgraded our room to a business suite. This was so unexpected and we loved it! It was so comfortable and provide the perfect amount of space so when one needed to work in the evening, the other person wasn’t disturbed. The en-suite bathroom was fantastic - the dual vanity was perfect for both of us to get ready at the same time. Also, it had a massive bathtub and separate shower- great for those who might want to unwind after a long day. The bed was very comfortable and it had great sound proofing. The only drawback was that the AC didn’t work well in the suite- even though we tried to lower the temperature, we weren’t able to bring it lower than 25 degrees. As it is summer, being able to lower the AC would have been helpful as it did get a little stuffy in the room at night. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. From recommendations on how to visit several of the villages we were interested in going to, to recommendations for specific Guizhou dishes to try at the night market, they were so kind and pleasant. The day we checked out it was pouring. The staff were kind enough to lend us umbrellas so we could go for a short walk to get coffee before our trip to the train station. The facilities were great and well maintained. A good really gym with lots of equipment / treadmills/ weights etc so you could work out. It closes at 11pm (as does the laundry). They only have 2 washer/ dryer combinations so while laundry is free to do, it could take a while as the shortest wash cycle was approximately 30 min, and then you still had to factor in dry time (as it’s the same machine). The hotel is located in the center area so there are lots of shops, and huge underground mall, night market, parks, cafe and bakery all within walking distance. As it’s centrally located, it’s very easy for didi to find/ schedule pick up. We loved our time in Kaili and our stay at this hotel. We will definitely return for a second visit!"

"I had originally booked a guesthouse that was highly rated and quite expensive. The host even added me on WeChat, but I just felt like the service wasn't great – their formal, official tone was annoying. So, I canceled that booking last minute and decided on this place instead. I truly didn't expect such a wonderful surprise! My stay here completely exceeded expectations. The hotel's location is fantastic; I could lie in bed and see the entire Miao village, offering expansive, healing views everywhere. Every photo I took turned out beautifully. What impressed me most was the incredibly thoughtful and personalized service. I didn't have to worry about my luggage at all; from check-in to check-out, they proactively helped carry it and even took it directly to the shuttle, completely saving me the fatigue of lugging heavy bags around. I even changed into a Miao costume and got a bit lost on the way back, but a staff member immediately came to pick me up. The staff were all so gentle and attentive, patiently responding to every request, big or small. The attention to detail really showed how much they cared, making the whole experience relaxing and comfortable. It truly made traveling and sightseeing effortless and worry-free. If you're coming here for a vacation, you absolutely won't be disappointed. I've already recommended it to several friends – booking this place is a surefire win! They prepared afternoon tea, offered a sweet goodnight soup in the evening, and the breakfast was equally exquisite. There was absolutely no sense of cutting corners; I was genuinely touched by their sincerity. I really love this hotel. In the future, if I ever see this hotel's name while traveling, I will definitely book it again. I hope the owner's business flourishes and they open more branches. I also want to thank the staff who helped me with my luggage; the weather was really hot, and picking up and dropping off people in this area must be very tiring. Check out the photos – I didn't explore the Miao village much because I'm too lazy and just wanted to relax at the hotel, so all my pictures are taken either in the room or right outside the hotel."

"I booked this for a friend's family, and they gave amazing feedback! They said this is truly the best hotel in Kaili. Both the service and facilities were absolutely fantastic. The 'Kali Lao Cai Supper [Double Meal]' was delicious and authentic. The breakfast was very unique and catered perfectly to both adults and children, with a great variety of options. They even made badges at the hotel, each family member creating their own design – a wonderful way to remember their trip to Kaili! Upon check-out, they even received some red sour soup as a gift. The location is also excellent, right in the city center, close to everything. It's just a few minutes' drive to Xiuli Tao, and there are many authentic Kaili eateries nearby. The hotel is also directly across the street from a park, perfect for an evening stroll after dinner, and Kaili is beautiful this season with flowers everywhere. Highly recommended!"

"We stayed 3 nights in Leli Villa. The best part was the prompt butler services - they helped us arranged a shared transport to & fro 镇远古城 which is 135km away. In addition, picked up and dropped off at 凯里南站 were provided. Breakfast was sumptuous; daily fruits, afternoon tea and nightly desserts were also provided. We could feel their sincerity in making their guest's stay comfortably. Aesthetically, the hotel"s decor was nice. However, the worst part was the bathroom. There was no place at all to hang your towel nor clothes. There was a big bathtub placed in the room which was not essential. I would rather have a nice couch or another table for us to place our stuff. Light switches behind the bed were unreachable and we had to on/off lights near door entrance."
