"I really enjoyed my stay at Mercure Parramatta. The location is super handy—close to everything I wanted to see and do. My room was comfy and clean, which made winding down after a long day easy. The pool was a nice bonus, and the food at the hotel was tasty. Everyone on staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. All in all, a great spot to stay if you’re visiting Parramatta. I’d definitely come back!"
"Check in was a smooth and easy Christopher went above and beyond. Absolute legend!! Only negative was I always strip the bed to make the job of the housekeeping staff a little easier but the stains on the bedding were disgusting."
"I chose a suite with a separate living room. It was equipped with a kitchen and washing machine. It was very close to Parramatta Mall and the river was downstairs. But it was arranged on the second floor, which was really hard to accept. A few meters away from the window was the museum under construction. I was highly myopic and could see the facial features of the workers without wearing glasses. My husband threw a cigarette to the other side and he could catch it. How close is it? I went to the front desk to negotiate and they said there was no room available in the entire hotel. Forget it, I made do with two bowls."
"The location is not bad, less than 5 minutes walk from Parramata Station (it is a little far from Sydney city center and the airport. It takes about 15 minutes from the ferry terminal). However, the exterior was very old and I was shocked at first, but the inside is clean. However, the facility as a whole is old. Perhaps because of that, the washing machines in the coin laundry cannot be used. It is nice that there is a free gym and pool, but unfortunately it was raining every day and I was unable to use them. The breakfast is average. I stayed for 4 nights, and I would have liked to add one night, but the menu has not been updated and the variety is average. The cleaning service is very poor. First of all, the room will not be cleaned unless you submit a cleaning sign, and even if you book at a discounted rate, there is no cleaning. The beds themselves are either two singles or queen size. The room is reasonably large, but there are no amenities, so it would be safer to prepare slippers, toothbrushes, etc."
"It took us a little walk from the Parramatta train station, dragging two kids and two large suitcase, to the hotel. Roughly 20 min. But once we had familiarised ourselves about the surrounding area, it takes only 10-15min to travel between the hotel and train station. So 4/5 for its location! Besides, it is very close to the Westfield shopping center. It makes an almost seamless transition for us.
The best part of Holiday Inn Parramatta to us was its cleaness and friend service. We loved how clean our room was on the first day, and how clean it was every time we came back after the room service. We were convinced by the hotel team on their committment over cleaness of the room.
The room amenity may need an upgrade (not to mention the super sensitive fire alarm). The AC seems to be set at a super low temperature, but if setting higher there was a foreign smell. No enough power point so not easy to recharge phones and other electronics. Plus, there were not enough cutleries at the room (so I had to eat a slice water melon with a tea spoon.)
But all by all, I still think this hotel is a great place to stay for a short term holiday. Their outdoor swimming pool is easy to use."
"Stayed for 9 nights. Location is close to Parramatta station. Room is generally clean. However, seems minor dirts found on bedsheets after housekeeping (note: Daily housekeeping was available as I stayed for 9 nights). However, there was a fire alarm suddenly on Valentine's day and every guest was informed to evacuate immediately from the room. It also happened last time when I stayed at Skye Green Square in Christmas last year."
"My stay at Rydges Parramatta exceeded all expectations! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for the entire visit.
The hotel's location is fantastic, situated in the heart of Parramatta, with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Rydges Parramatta offers convenience without compromising on comfort.
The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy sanctuary after a long day of exploring or meetings. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.
One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate any request and were always eager to assist with a friendly smile. Whether it was recommending a local restaurant or arranging transportation, their attention to detail truly made me feel like a valued guest.
The amenities at Rydges Parramatta are top-notch. I enjoyed taking a refreshing dip in the pool and unwinding in the sauna after a busy day."

Good
AAllenyoonaIt's OK. If you are not so picky, it should be OK. It is not expensive if it is not the weekend. The price-performance ratio is still OK. It may have been opened for a long time. The overall decoration is still the same. Bathtub is too troublesome to take a bath. It is too short. It is not convenient for taller people.
WWENTIANI have stayed twice in three months. I have booked this time. I am very satisfied with the double suite. The terrace is very large. The kitchen is fully equipped. It can cook more than six people. The fly in the ointment is another room. The difference is that the air is dripping. No room, bed, room, lobby, suggestion, suites are better than standard double rooms.
