Best Pakse Hotels

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The bed is XXL. The staff is very avenging and listening. The cleanliness is impeccable. Breakfast is varied and extensive. The swimming pool corner on the roof is very sympathetic. The hotel also offers bike rentals and transfers to the city and airport.

Very convenient location( 2mins to the big market, clean and very comfortable bed. Wifi is ok. Staff vey nice. Price very reasonable. I have made a mistake in my reservation date that is non refundable, i called the hotel and the kindly accept to change my date. It was for 3 rooms. Thank you. Hotel needs is to be taken care a little bit. Parking spot is kind of limited. Recommend it!

Super clean rooms, very nice breakfast and superb food. But the host she is probably the most friendly and helpful woman in this world. Once arrived there I got infected with Dengue fever and ended up in the hospital for a week. She brought me food and drinks 3 times a day and helped me with translation and transport for my entire stay at the hospital, all free of charge. I can not thank her enough for what she did to me as she was the light in a very difficult period. I would highly recommend this place and whenever I am back in Pakse, there will be only 1 hotel I will stay in. Thank you so much for everything!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at Sang Aroun Hotel! The hotel is very good overall, only minor deficiencies. Location of the hotel is prime - right in the centre of ”downtown” Pakse (Pakse is exceptionally small), and within a stone's throw of many restaurants, mini markets, and tourist agencies. The large supermarkets like ”V Market” and ”Friendship Supermarket” are located only about 2 km by foot - I was able to walk to both in less than 30 mins to stock up on bigger supplies. The hotel is also less than 10 mins from the airport by Tuk Tuk, just over the bridge. Location is ideal! Rooms were large and spacious. Rooms were basic, with simple decoration, but clean. Staff were happy to provide basic amenities like an electric kettle, and two coffee mugs, upon request, so I could make coffee in the morning (I don't like 3-in-1 coffee)! The room also had working air conditioning, wifi (but very weak signal in the rooms - only strong in the reception area/ground level floor), and a working fridge. The fridge kept its cool throughout the day, so your drinks were cold when you returned from exploring! Basic toiletries were provided such as 2 little shampoo bottles, shower caps, and bar soap. This was fine for me, as I still had a supply of toiletries I was carrying from other hotels. The hotel also replenished two bottles of water every morning. Housekeeping was fantastic! The cleaning service was wonderful and they provided fresh towels every day. They had changed my linens halfway through my 4-night stay also. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly, and smelled fresh. My only minor complaints would be the shower pressure. It wasn't great, but it was manageable. The shower handle in my room also was broken, so it took awhile to finally shut off the water when I was finished showering. Water was very hot, however. The shower curtain doesn't really contain the water either - so the bathroom floor is filled with water after you take a shower. Common setup in these regions, even if not practical. And finally, the sink water drips onto the floor, leaving large pools of water. Otherwise, the bathroom was fairly clean! Just small pockets of mould and mildew, but I feel like this is due to the humid climate here, and staff do their best to keep it maintained/clean. Staff were just amazing here - from reception to cleaning staff. Very professional, welcoming, and friendly! Happy to help out with any additional requests. For example, one night, my door handle was stuck and I couldn't turn the key to get into my room - reception staff helped me out and then took care to fix the handle so I didn't have the same problems in future! Breakfast buffet was good, depending on your tastes. It's Laos, so they cater towards Asian tastes, which means white rice, hot mixed meat and vegetable dishes, rice stew, fried eggs, and chicken sausages were on offer. There were also some (but limited) Western options like toast with jams and fresh cut fruits (watermelon and dragon fruit). N

If you don't like vast concrete edifices and impersonal service, good accommodation is a little hard to find in Pakse. Le Jardin is the exception - a perfectly run boutique hotel with a nice pool and comfortable rooms. The owner, Ms Noi, is an absolute gem who could not do enough for us before, during and after our stay. Ms Noi organised our car from Ubon Ratchathani to the Four Thousand islands in the week before our stay at Le Jardin and personally drove us (for a reasonable fee) from Pakse to Ubon airport at the end of our stay. This made crossing the border both ways at Chong Mek a breeze, where it could otherwise have been quite confusing. The shuttle service to the centre of town works perfectly and it took us on Ms Noi's recommendation to the panoramic rooftop of the Pakse Hotel for dinner, which is an absolute must for its spectacular views and great, well priced food. Thank you again Ms Noi, you really made our trip to southern Laos a very special one indeed.

Good position ,friendly staff good rooftop bar,they take our checkin also at 5.00 am outside the hotel u can find every service for rent a bike or tour in the city

Lovely hotel in Pakse, with very good location near cafes, restaurants, embankment and motorental agencies - city center for sure. There are all necessary amenities in the room: toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, water and mini bar in case you need smth. Sheets and towels are white, cleaning is very good, wi-fi works also ok and AC located good, you will not die of freezin👌 The best thing in the hotel is the staff! I thanks a lot - they are super friendly and kind, good people and could help you in case you ask 🤗 If you will choose Standard room, it is better to ask for 4th floor- the window there more bigger (room 407). I also stayed in 506, it is the same, but the window is one one and narrow. The rooftop is very cool, during the rain it covered, i think the sunset there is perfect, unfortunately had no chance to visit. The breakfast is good, everything you need you could find: omelette, fruits, fresh milk, bread, different jams, pate, and other things i suppose people eat for breakfast. So, i highly recommend this hotel! 🤗

This hotel is in need of a little TLC which is currently taking place but all the important stuff is there. Soft comfy bed, good aircon, good shower and plenty of hot water. Great views of the river and bridge. Great pool and breakfast in a lovely indoor restaurant. The evening restaurant has fantastic views over the river and a good selection of local and international dishes. The building itself and lobby is very impressive and is immediately visible when entering Pakse. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and attentive, particularly the girls on reception who were very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and it was our favourite hotel in Laos yet very competitively priced.
