"We found this to be excellent value. In a little bit of a gritty area but always felt totally safe. 10min walk to the subway which is two stops to midtown manhattan. Clean rooms on the smaller side which is normal for nyc and friendly staff. I’d stay here again."

"Location: Northwest of downtown Flushing, a 7-minute walk from the 7 train subway station, just outside the main commercial area. Facilities: Newly opened hotel, spacious rooms, very new equipment, Japanese central air conditioning. Service: Standard Hilton INN level (comparable to a Chinese all-season hotel). Don't compare American hotels to Chinese standards; there aren't high service expectations here. Overall, the value for money is decent, and it's a good choice if you're going to watch the US Open."

"Brand new hotel – I stayed March 2026, in the first few weeks after it opened. Very clever layouts makes the most of the small rooms. Modern attractive design distinguishes the rooms from other hotels in the area. Overall a great choice, HOWEVER there are a few growing pains that I hope the hotel takes care to address: - The shower is *warm-ish*, but not *hot*. Both my wife and I found this unpleasant; we were hoping for a more relaxing shower. - The shower leaked incredible amounts of water into the rest of the bathroom. There was no barrier under the door to keep the water inside. - The elevator beeps on every floor it passes. Every room is near the elevators, so mornings and evenings you just hear a constant refrain of ”beep... beep... BEEP... beep... beep... BEEP... beep...” as the elevators stay busy moving guests around. I hope the hotel can get their elevator guy to disable this pointless beeping, or at least make it quieter. Overall it was still a great stay, and definitely my favorite hotel in the area – better than the Ace Hotel, the nearby Hilton, and Holiday Inn – though it could have been amazing had these growing pains been addressed."

"All the staff here at Hotel 1080 Are Absolutely Amazing! They explained all the Amazing amenities all around the property which are Basement for all the guess and Employees on the breaks! Designated Smoke room for smokers, beautiful lounge area with Flat Screen which is front of the Stage. They have an amazing bar! COFFEE & TEA ARE FREE at any convenience for all guests. Last but not the least I was able to have the choice of my room with walk in glass wall and door Shower? My room was Gorgeouslicios and I would absolutely recommend for anyone to stay here and make reservation at your convenience😍🥰😙🤩😘 I thank you for all the staff that assisted me while I was there for my needs of my questions which were all answered."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, right at the intersection of 10th Avenue and 42nd Street. It's super close to the subway station, making it easy to get here from LaGuardia Airport. Times Square and the Hudson River are both within walking distance. There's a CVS right across the street, which is really convenient for grabbing essentials. What's even better is that there are several authentic Chinese restaurants nearby, and even a Luckin Coffee! The hotel itself is well-equipped, clean, and the service is warm and friendly. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in New York!"
