Guest UserMy stay at the Waldorf Astoria New York was exceptional in every way. From the moment I arrived, the service felt thoughtful, polished, and genuinely welcoming. Every staff member I interacted with was attentive without being intrusive, creating a sense of ease throughout my stay.
The Deluxe Room was beautifully appointed—quiet, immaculate, and designed with a timeless elegance that reflects the hotel’s historic character. The bed was especially comfortable, and the room layout made it easy to relax and unwind after a long day.
The hotel’s facilities were equally impressive. Common areas are stunningly restored, blending classic New York grandeur with modern comfort. Everything—from the lobby to the elevators—felt meticulously maintained.
The location is unbeatable. Being in the heart of Midtown made it effortless to get to meetings, restaurants, and landmarks. Despite the central location, the hotel felt like a calm retreat from the city’s energy.
Overall, my stay was smooth, comfortable, and memorable. I would gladly return and highly recommend the Waldorf Astoria to anyone seeking a luxurious and well‑run hotel in New York.

The hotel corridor facilities are still a bit old, the interior decoration of the room is still good, the view is almost non-existent

Not the WSH that I have stayed in so many times before. The doorman stood and watched me struggle with the doors when I arrived; and never offered to help me up the stairs with my luggage. Upon checking in I inquired about the restaurant and lounge hours. There was nothing in the WSH web page to indicate they were closed for remodeling. When I made that comment one of the desk clerks said, “If you knew you might not have come”. Correct; but I would have come back in the future. Now I will never return, especially since the room I was given had a window with a view of a fallen steel I-beam and a brick wall. Not to mention it was at the end of a hallway where the door to the stairwell slammed loudly enough to shake the room all day long while staff were constantly using it. A very ugly way to treat a loyal customer. When I was informed that the hotel is under new management my only thought was “obviously”. The transition has not been for the better. At almost $450.00 per night you could do much, much better.

A lovely hotel and nice to rooms, I did feel a bit let down though with some of their functions on at the time.
A very noisy pool party and cocktail function which clearly was to accommodate a certain age range.
It would of been nice to be aware of such functions before we actually turned up. I could see that most of the people staying at the hotel were of my similar age and weren't overly comfortable either with noisy, loud individuals dotted all over.
This was especially concerning since guests have to sign a waiver to abide by noise rules etc....but it appeared none of these were followed for people associated with the event.
Shame really as the hotel itself and location was great.
Appreciation for all guests seemed a bit lacking.

My girlfriend and I stayed in a large king suite complete with balcony and stunning view of NYC over the East River. We had an excellent room service breakfast the following morning. Would def recommend and return again one day!

1. As an airport hotel, it's incredibly quiet. There's absolutely no airplane noise, probably because they use two windows for sound isolation, each with double-paned glass. 2. I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and the housekeepers changed the towels and teacups daily. 3. I encountered two shuttle drivers, both of whom were very friendly. They departed on time and picked up guests from the airport punctually, even dropping them off directly at their required terminal. 4. On checkout day, still wary from a previous bad experience with an Newark airport hotel shuttle, I booked my shuttle and arrived early at the entrance. Unfortunately, there were too many people and too much luggage heading to the airport. The driver proactively arranged for an additional vehicle to take us.

The breakfast selection was fantastic, featuring congee, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, salmon, cheese, various yogurts, and even dumplings. Of all the hotels in New York, this one likely caters best to Chinese tastes. I was particularly pleased to be able to enjoy two bowls of congee for breakfast. Plus, the room was very clean.

We recently stayed at a hotel in the heart of New York City, and it exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect—just a short walk from the 9/11 Memorial and Battery Park, where we easily caught the ferry to the Statue of Liberty.
The hotel offered a complimentary breakfast, which was a great start to our days of exploring. Our room was spacious and comfortably accommodated three people without any issues. It was well-maintained and provided all the amenities we needed.
One of the standout features was the $25 voucher provided daily for the minibar, which was a thoughtful and appreciated touch. Additionally, the area around the hotel had plenty of shops, making it convenient to pick up anything we needed or enjoy some shopping.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in downtown New York with easy access to major landmarks and excellent amenities.

4 nights stay at Sixty LES, in an ADA King room.
The hotel is clean, easily accessible within walking distance from public transportation. The location is good, closed to many restaurants and famous institutions like Katz. The room is big, clean with bed comfortable and good shower place. Amenities includes an in room safe, ironing board and iron, coffee maker and mini fridge.
The front desk, and the staff in general are quite helpful and very professional and polite.
The only drawback is that the room can be a bit dark at night and also the noise from the bar on 7th floor can be particularly loud until late in the morning (3am)

Loved the rooftop bar with killer skyline views - perfect for Instagram! Rooms had a cool, modern vibe with mood lighting (and that sexy red shower was a vibe). But man, those rooms are TINY - barely had space to open my suitcase. Staff was hit or miss - some super friendly, others acted like I was bothering them. Location's decent but not amazing - had to walk a bit for subway access. Worth it if you catch a good deal, but don't expect luxury.
