"The Now or Never Cabin is worth it if you are staying for a longer time, had enough space to change comfortably in my room and store my big suitcase not under the bed . The second floor amenities like toothpaste, tampons and razors were a nice touch and really made it feel like a hotel. Let’s talk about the body wash, shampoo and conditioner they all smelled incredible. The shower was also nice and hot. The room and bathroom were cleaned everyday and bathroom always fully stocked. There is free lockers to use to store your bags after checkout. Finally the staff was very friendly and helpful, I will definitely come back and stay here if solo in New York again."

DoubleTree by Hilton New York Downtown ★★★★
"Hotel was fine, in a good and safe location! My only complaint, like most said, is that there's not enough elevators. Also, some of the lights on the buttons of the elevators are broken, so you don't know if pressing worked or not. When wait times can be 10 minutes long, it's stressful to wonder if the button worked at all. Regardless of that, I would likely stay again. :)"

Crowne Plaza HY36 MIDTOWN MANHATTAN by IHG ★★★★
"The room wasn't huge, but for New York City, the price was decent, and the facilities were quite good. The front desk staff were also very helpful and even gave me a high-floor room with a view. However, the cleanliness was pretty subpar. When I unfolded a bath towel, I saw dust fall off – I'm not sure if it was lint or something else. After showering, I lay on the bed, and within 15 minutes, my face had an allergic reaction. I have a severe dust mite allergy, so I immediately suspected either the towel or the bedding was dirty. I called the front desk to ask if they had any allergy medicine and explained the situation, asking what could be done. They said the hotel didn't provide it and I could buy my own. They also mentioned that if I wanted to switch rooms, a manager would need to come up and check the situation first. Since I was exhausted after a concert and only staying one night, I just didn't bother changing rooms. I asked the front desk to send up fresh towels and ordered some medicine to be delivered to the hotel myself. So, my review is that everything was great except for the hygiene."

"I’ve had a great experience, everyone was friendly especially the staff. The rooms were clean, the building was safe. Honestly it has all you need if you just need a room to sleep in the heart of manhattan. My only comment is that my legs didn’t fit in the bad as it was a little small for me ( btw I’m 6.1)"
