Paramount Hotel Times Square

I won’t be booking this hotel ever again. The quality is poorer than some countryside motels. The aircon is rattling and sounds more like a motor generator. It is so loud it’s akin to noise pollution and torture. Getting any quality sleep is impossible even with ear plugs (listen to the video clip) as the aircon is right next to my bed where my head is. I tried to change rooms, but they were full. I tried to change hotels, but unfortunately the neighbouring ones were also full. Hygiene is very bad - the shower doesn’t fully drain. For both the aircon and drainage problems, they said they would send and engineer to take a look and try to fix the issues, but during my stay I don’t believe anything was done.  Don’t stay in this hotel if you have a choice.

Our stay felt like a great bargain, the room was small but for the price and location felt like a steal. Room was clean and mostly well maintained. Rest of the hotel was very nicely decorated and felt premium. I’d definitely book again

The location is very convenient, you can join a local tour to other cities and those tour typically depart from Times Square, which is within walking distance from the hotel. Musical theatres are also within walking distance. However, the hotel room is too small, and room condition is not good. Maybe hotels in Time Square are simply too expensive, and you are paying for the location, not for luxury.

We stayed at Paramount Hotel Times Square for 3 nights and had a great experience. The location is excellent, with subway stations, restaurants, and shops just a short walk away. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very cozy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and both check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. Most of New York’s major attractions are within walking distance. Despite being in such a busy area, the room was quiet enough to relax and get a good night’s sleep after long days of exploring the city. Great value for the location. We would definitely stay here again.

Paramount Times Square has a very convenient location, making it easy to access nearby attractions and transport. The room was quite small, but it was still acceptable and comfortable enough for our stay. Overall, we enjoyed the convenience and would recommend this hotel to travellers looking for a well-located place to stay in the city.
