New Hotels in Koh Samui

"The hotel staff and the owner were very good! They even have a friendly cat who will accompany you during the stay! However, the friendliness and kindness of the staff and owner will not help with the comfort of your stay! The rooms have a good view of the ocean, however they're small and the structure is built on some metal platform. So if the guests on the other room walk around or even talk, you can not only hear their footsteps, but the entire structures shakes. Also, for the 2 nights we stayed there, the guests in our next room were watching TV and we couldn't sleep well because of the noise. The rooms have zero sound proofing and the entire structure just shakes. Its okay for a short stay, however for the amount we were charged, it was definitely not t worth it. Even the high season doesn't justify the price we paid."

"I really like the hotel, the rooms are clean, modern and spacious. There is a really good pool, big enough to swim laps in and the breakfast is fantastic. Hotel staff are friendly and welcoming and all in all a good hotel. Only difficulties I experienced were the lack of sunbeds at the pool and there was some construction near the hotel which could be noisy."

"The Hostel Samui was really great. The reception worker was extremely nice and I felt so welcome! I was a little sceptical at first because the hostel had very few reviews, but that’s because it’s still really new (opened up about 2/3 months ago). So don’t be scared to book it! You get a towel from the reception which was really nice and the rooms are really clean. For me personally the location was great, in the Main Street but like 4 min walk to get to the “life of the city”. Therefore you don’t hear any of the loud music from the bars/ clubs, which go on really late in the night. You could controll the aircon in the rooms yourself, which is alsways helpful. There were two bathrooms (both one toilet and one shower) for 10 people which was more than enough. Also outside on the balcony there was a really nice chill area with a fan, where you could either meet other people or just chill by yourself (but would really recommend using mosquito repellent, there a sooo many of them since there are threes around the balcony). Not the most social hostel, but if you’re not that much into partying (or just like your sleep :D) I can highly recommend booking this hostel!"

"This is a great place to stay. The owner is very attentive to detail for guests. The room is spacious, the bed is large with lots of pillows (including bolster pillows), there are two power strips, plenty of tea and coffee, a kettle, microwave, hairdryer, very large towels, and a safe. Everything you need is in the room. It smells clean and smells great. I slept very comfortably. I was very impressed with this place and would give it 100 stars if I could. I appreciate the service and attention to detail; some large hotels don't even offer these things."

"I had a really good stay at Tree Monkey Hostel. The room felt comfortable and had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower facilities were clean and easy to use. I also liked that you can choose between hot and cold water anytime - simple but very practical. It’s a pretty basic setup, but in a good way - it covers all the essentials without feeling like anything is missing. For me, it was more than enough. One of the highlights was the staff. The woman handling check-in was very friendly and welcoming. Even though her English isn’t perfect, communication was still easy. She’s very accommodating and always tries to help or find a solution, which I really appreciated. The location is also great, with restaurants nearby and the beach within easy reach, so it’s very convenient overall. One thing to mention is that there were some drain flies in the room. That said, they didn’t bother me much - especially at night when sleeping, I barely noticed them. It might be something to keep in mind, but for me personally it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with very friendly and helpful service."

"Nice place to stay…swimming pool has a wonderful view…rooms are very big…but with terrible 20-sm podium wood beds where children and you are always banging your legs! Always! Location is not bed! But too far (40 minutes) from Chaweng beach and Central Festival! So…you need to walk or use took-took to go there and back! Stuff are really friendly and helpful! Anytime they are ready to make your holiday much comfortable and easy! Breakfast is not so variety and almost same everyday! If you want to relax and stay a little far from all this noisy Central! You are just there! P.s there is a coffee shop on the reception area! Do not take anything there! There is boy named Djo! He was trying to cheating us for quite big amount! Please, stay away from his place!"

"Hello everyone! We stayed at this house for 7 days. The house is simply wonderful, with absolutely everything for a comfortable stay with our family. The photos match the reality. There are, of course, some minor inconveniences in the bathroom. The water drains poorly after a shower, and every time you step in, you step in a puddle of water. These are minor issues. We really enjoyed everything, and we'll definitely be back."
