"Booked this B&B with my mom for our trip to Miao Village. The room was fantastic, fully smart-controlled, with brand new facilities and a great view, really sunny. The owner, a young man, helped us with our luggage and the service was very attentive. We even got welcome fruits. Breakfast was a local specialty noodle dish, which tasted great with chili. Since it was the off-season, they upgraded our room for free to one with a big balcony overlooking Miao Village and the rice terraces. It's also very close to Wind-Rain Bridge No. 1. Highly recommend this B&B if you're visiting Miao Village!"

"The first time I wrote a hotel review, it was very well received, the facilities were very new, the sanitation was also very good, the room had no smell, the boss couple was very good and very enthusiastic to pick us up to the north gate, and it rained heavily that night in the thousands of Miao Village. Thanks to the boss, he came to pick us up quickly to avoid the whole soup chicken. Self-driving tour parking is also very convenient to have its own basement. ps: As a Sichuanese, I like the boss of Henan. The breakfast is old noodles and steamed buns. The eggs are also delicious. I wish business prosperity."

"Just got back from Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village and I have to rave about Tianhe Shiguang! The location is absolutely perfect – right on the west side of Wind-Rain Bridge No. 5. Step outside and you're at the Necklace Square and Bairiver boardwalk. Head up for the viewing platform, or stroll downriver to Bridge No. 1, all super close for exploring and dining. Even though it's in the heart of the action, it's surprisingly quiet, away from the noisy bars on the main street. In the room, all you hear is the gentle sound of the flowing water, which made for a really deep sleep. The breakfast buffet was excellent too, especially the rice noodles. What really impressed me was the butler who proactively met us at the bridge to help with all our heavy luggage, both on arrival and departure, even taking our bags to Bridge No. 5 when we checked out. New rooms, new facilities, and smart home features throughout – highly recommend!"

"After getting off the highway to the west gate of the scenic spot, I searched several hotels near the scenic spot on my mobile phone. I found that this hotel not only has a charging pile at the door, but also very close to the entrance of the Ximen Scenic Area. There are plenty of parking spaces, so as not to climb the scenic homestay with a suitcase. Booked this hotel immediately. The service lady was enthusiastic and took the initiative to take us to see the room, and introduced the scenic tour route and the guide to avoid the pit. The room is more peaceful than expected. There is a wide backyard with Miao characteristics. The breakfast is rich. The freshly ground soy milk is sweet and delicious. It is really good to live here in Miao Village!"

"To my fellow travelers, remember to check the weather forecast before your trip! Even before checking in, the hotel staff thoughtfully reminded me to bring extra warm clothes, as Guizhou weather has been cold morning, noon, and night recently. I'm so glad I listened, otherwise, I would have frozen to death in Xijiang. The best part is that the hotel is right by the main road, so you can just take the sightseeing bus directly to the entrance – super convenient. Now that I've left, I really miss Xijiang's sour soup noodles; the taste is quite authentic and different from what you get elsewhere. Also, the black pig BBQ with Guizhou chili sauce was absolutely delicious. The hotel's cleanliness and service were also very good."

"The hotel is located about a kilometer from the entrance of the Miao Village. They have their own parking lot, and the owner can provide free pickup and drop-off to the scenic area in their big BMW. The service throughout our stay was excellent. The owner was very enthusiastic during check-in, recommending delicious and affordable local food nearby. The room itself was fantastic, clean, tidy, and fully equipped with smart home features. The best part was the large, south-facing windows, which let in plenty of light and made the room very warm. The hot water pressure was strong and gentle, and the bed was very comfortable. For a trip away from home, I think these points are more than satisfactory. It's much better than the guesthouses inside the scenic area, and the price is cheaper! At 11 PM, a staff member even called to ask if we were done exploring and if they should come pick us up. It was such a warm and thoughtful gesture! Breakfast was simple but delicious, and they even prepared an extra dish for us, afraid we wouldn't have enough to eat. They kept offering us eggs, haha. Overall, I'm very satisfied and highly recommend this place! I'm not a shill, by the way."

The homestay is located between Bridge No. 5 and Bridge No. 6, making it convenient for entry and exit, easy to check into, no need to climb mountains, and offering excellent scenic views, with spacious rooms.

"It was very convenient to take the bus from Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport to Xijiang Qianhu Miaozhai Village. The bus stop was at the north gate, and fortunately, the hotel was close to it. After purchasing a ticket at the ticket office, I took the shuttle bus and got off at the village entrance, where the hotel staff personally greeted me. Since it's close to the main road and doesn't require any uphill travel, it's a great place for the elderly or families with children. The view from my room was breathtaking, with a panoramic view of the village. The owner wasn't at the hotel, but she responded immediately via WeChat. When the Wi-Fi in my room on the fifth floor had issues on the first day, he moved me to the sixth floor the next day. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that it was winter, and it rained and the temperature dropped significantly on my visit, making it very cold for two days. The room was large, so even with the heater on all day, it was still cold. I think they need to find a different solution for winter. I had a good two-day stay."

Nestled deep in the lush mountains of Leishan, Qiandongnan, where the curling smoke from Miao villages answers the sea of clouds over Leigong Mountain, a hotel lies in serene repose. Wrapping contemporary dwelling wisdom in the rustic warmth of Miao hospitality, it turns every stay into a reunion with the landscape. Each guestroom features smart home control—simply wake the voice assistant, and lights, curtains, and room temperature adjust to your wish. Outside the window, the terraced fields of the Miao hills unfold in layers; inside, details inspired by Miao silver ornaments and embroidery patterns flow through the space, where traditional craftsmanship and modern technology blend in silence. In the lobby, the rich aroma of freshly ground Yunnan small‑grain coffee fills the air—bright with fruity acidity and a lingering finish, bringing a distant flavor into the mountain morning. Seasonal local teas from deep within Leigong Mountain are also served: Silver Ball Tea, clean and sweet in spring; thirst‑quenching waxberry brew in summer; and ancient tree black tea or warming ginger tea in autumn and winter. A cup of coffee connects the mountains to the wider world; a cup of tea mirrors the seasons of Leishan. At Weicheng, intelligence simplifies the tedious, while local character holds time still. Step out of your room and immerse yourself in the Miao embroidery heritage exhibition in the public area, or take a stroll through nearby indigenous villages. When you return, the system has already set the soothing night light. The hotel is the living room of Leishan’s nature and culture—paying tribute to tradition with technology, and inviting you, over a cup of tea or coffee, to slowly savor the genuine warmth of this land.

"I stayed at the Weicheng Hotel last night. Overall, it was very good. They also have free parking. It is very convenient. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful. The attitude is gentle and patient. This hotel also provides free coffee, fruit tea and desserts. There are also self-service washing machines and dryers. Don’t worry about going out. There are some men and women’s supplies at the front desk 💄. Last night, the front desk lady gave me a bottle of makeup remover oil. It was not bad to use. It just solved the problem of not bringing makeup remover oil. 🥰 Friends who come to Leishan can stay at this hotel. They also have clothes to punch in, if I come on a business trip next time, I must experience it once."

"This is an amazing small hotel in the village. We loved the location and having a balcony to view the town from above. You will need to go to the main gate, and get the tram to go to the entrance of the village. From there, we were able to contact the hotel and they came to us to get our bags and walk us to the hotel. It is quite a few steps to get to it, so if you have mobility issues, that would be a challenge. The hotel room was clean and modern. The bed was lovely. The hosts even offered us umbrellas for the rain. I would easily stay here again and again. It was so peaceful and a perfect location for experiencing the town. Easy to walk everywhere."
