It is more than 200 meters away from the entrance of the scenic spot. It is worth recommending."

"The guesthouse was great. I was immediately drawn to the green accents on the bed online, and sure enough, the bathroom had green tiles too – very cozy! The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were excellent. They provided two breakfasts, but we were too full to eat more, so we asked for one more. The owner was incredibly kind and insisted we have it, worried we might be hungry. Because we were rushing to catch our train, we didn't have time for much conversation, but they still gave us a small gift – we were very grateful! If I ever come to Mingshi again, I'll definitely choose this place again."

"What you see is what you get. The room was exactly as pictured and video-recorded, exceptionally clean and new. The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive, even turning on the air conditioning beforehand to help us with our luggage, as it can get a bit hot on the fourth floor during the day. The owner even offered us bananas. The room was spotless, the bed was very soft, and it's quite close to Detian Waterfall. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was down for two days, resulting in poor signal and making it impossible to use my phone at night. 😂"

"I rarely write reviews, but this place was so amazing I just had to help the two gentle and lovely sisters who run it get some exposure. The younger sister is also a photography enthusiast, so it felt like getting a free travel photoshoot with our stay! When we booked, it was a bit rushed. We decided to come to Mingshi Countryside after seeing Detian Waterfall. We wanted convenient transportation but didn't want to be on a noisy main road. We also wanted a beautiful window view, and the kids wanted a swimming pool. With all these demands, the price was definitely beyond our initial budget. Then, by chance, I saw this place and thought we'd just stay for a night and switch if it wasn't good. The hotel is located in an alley just off the main road. The entrance was a bit narrow, and I was a little worried at first. But once we got in, the enthusiastic owner helped us with our luggage and offered fresh fruit as a welcome. The room had a super large panoramic window and a unique bedside viewing setup. Staying here, I truly understood that 'countryside' means allowing everyone to slow down and experience the wild beauty. It's not necessarily about convenient commercial facilities or perfectly paved roads. This natural wild charm combined with comfortable accommodation made our trip so much more relaxed and enjoyable. We didn't hesitate to extend our stay for another night, and the owner even upgraded us to a different room with a better view. The breakfast every morning was also very thoughtfully prepared; they just didn't want us to leave hungry! The room facilities were also very tasteful, and there were drinks in the mini-fridge. We experienced the kind of quality usually found in 4-star-plus hotels right here at this B&B."

[Environment]: The decor is exquisite, definitely the best among nearby B&Bs, though it leans a bit too much towards a hotel style. [Cleanliness]: The bedding is very clean and soft, and the toiletries come in small individual bottles. [Food]: Breakfast is served individually with a good variety, and there's even fruit after the meal. The restaurant's ”Piaoliang Fan” (pretty rice/meal) offers great value and taste. [Highlights]: There are two swimming pools, which the kids absolutely loved. At night, you can look up from the rooftop and see a sky full of stars."

"The hotel is right at the entrance of the scenic area, about a 5-minute walk. The owner even helped me buy the tickets; it was only 80 yuan instead of the 118 yuan, saving me the shuttle bus fare. You don't need the shuttle bus if you're staying in Detian Village; only those staying much further out need it. The rooms are new and clean. They have smart toilets and the heating is good. There's a laundry room, which is very convenient, and parking is available. I highly recommend this hotel; it's great value for money, and the owner is very welcoming, talkative, and honest. For food, you can try the Hanoi Vietnamese pho restaurant; it's a small shop with the accommodation upstairs and the pho restaurant downstairs—affordable and delicious."
