"I practically stumbled upon a gem of a guesthouse! The location is fantastic, right next to the main road, super easy to find. The room had a view of the rice paddies, a floor-to-ceiling window that was absolutely gorgeous 😍 Just open the curtains and you'll see the amazing view! It's located opposite the popular "Rice Paddy" coffee shop, and since it was Saturday, I could see the fireworks display right from my room! There are bike and electric scooter rentals right across the street, and it's only about 100 meters from the entrance to the Mingshi Pastoral Park cycling trail – so convenient! The rooms were all very clean, and the bathroom provided disposable toiletries, which was great."

"The bed and pillows at the B&B were very comfortable, and the view from inside was amazing. We were caught in a major power outage, but the hotel had its own generator, which was incredibly helpful. It would have been incredibly uncomfortable to run the air conditioner without electricity in such hot weather! The breakfast lady was also very welcoming. She said she didn't want breakfast, but she was worried we'd be hungry, so she brought out delicious brown sugar buns, meat buns, and melon. The coffee was also quite good!"

"This Zhuang-style B&B, nestled in Mingshi Countryside, offers panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of karst peaks and rice paddies. Morning mist and evening glow make for fantastic photo opportunities. The Zhuang-style breakfast is fresh and delicious, and the butler service is attentive. The Mingshi River bamboo raft pier is within walking distance. The only downsides are the numerous countryside insects, the difficulty of booking a mountain view room during peak season, and the significantly higher price compared to standard B&Bs."

"Seriously, this hotel is a hidden gem! I absolutely love the floor-to-ceiling windows. It's really great value for money and I highly recommend it! The room was clean with no strange odors, and both the lighting and ventilation were excellent. The toiletries provided were very comprehensive. The staff were warm and attentive, responding quickly to any requests. The location is superb, with convenient transport and dining options nearby. Overall, a perfect experience!"

"I had to said that the hotel was very pretty, but the staff that work there was another level, I’m a solo travel woman and I’m don’t speak Chinese, but the manger was a charm, she helps to get to the hotel taking with my taxi driver and to the sales lady in other city, also when I got to the hotel she help me to find a ride to my way back and make sure that got there. in the end when I was waiting from my bus she came all the way from the hotel to bring me food, because she know I didn’t have lunch. Also she allowed me to stay in the room longer that the check out time, because she knew I have to wait for my ride, I can’t say night thank you to her for all the help"
