GGuest UserIf you're looking for a completely relaxing getaway, come to Chongzuo and stay at Lux* Secret Place. Here, amidst the mountains and rivers, you'll find a pure sanctuary, and among the greenery, a peaceful haven. It's also perfect for families with kids, offering a children's playground and a farm, plus fishing – there's always something to do. For adults, there's swimming, a library, a cinema, a bar, and cycling – the only problem is you won't have enough time!
**Facilities:** The facilities are comprehensive and brand new, though the steps in the rooms are a bit high, making them less suitable for the elderly. The children's play area is excellent, and watching a movie alone was incredibly comfortable.
**Service:** Our dedicated butler, Jolly, was fantastic! A handwritten card with a surprising welcome message, she meticulously introduced us to every aspect of the hotel, explaining all the plants in detail. Her arrangements were thoughtful and meticulous – a big thumbs up to her! 👍👍👍 All the other hotel staff also made guests feel very welcome.
**Environment:** Every step reveals a new scenic view; the environment is simply amazing!

JJianjianfeng1999My 4-day, 3-night trip to Chongzuo was completely spontaneous, and Changliu Mountain Residence, a highly-rated hotel on Ctrip, absolutely blew me away once I checked in. It's perfect for a relaxing getaway. It's only a 30-minute drive to Detian Waterfall, and the hotel is located right within the Mingshi Pastoral Scenic Area, with the Fish Scale Dam just 300 meters away. You can even access it directly from the hotel's side entrance (you'll need your room key card to enter and exit).
The hotel's views are particularly noteworthy. You can watch the sunrise right from your bed, and the 4th-floor restaurant offers a fantastic view as well. The restaurant's food was really good; I had both of my dinners there during my stay. The restaurant staff were proactive and attentive, always letting me know how long steamed dishes would take and when all the food would be served after I placed my order.
Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely be staying here again.

Qqingfen2012The B&B is about 100 meters walk from Yulin Dam, easy to find with navigation, and has its own parking. Our reserved room was next to the main building. We took the elevator to the fifth floor, then had to climb two flights of narrow stairs. Luckily, there were staff members who helped us carry our luggage up and down. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, even with a washing machine. The only downside was the lack of a bathtub. The room also had a private French balcony, though the view wasn't great, mostly surrounding residential houses. Breakfast was simple, which is typical for B&Bs. The front desk staff were all very warm and dedicated.

MM58634****I originally intended to book only one night, but seeing that the environment and service were quite good, I extended my stay for another night. The hotel is not far from Detian, Tongling, and Longgong Wonderland, and there are plenty of restaurants in the town.

GGuest UserAfter turning left from Detian Waterfall to Mingshi Countryside, it wasn't long before we saw their sign. Due to ongoing road construction and new guesthouses being built at the entrance, the road conditions aren't great. During the rainy season, it can be quite muddy and difficult to navigate. This is a 7-story building. Since it's winter now, there isn't much scenery to speak of (it should be beautiful in spring and autumn). The 7th floor has an infinity pool with expansive views. On the 1st floor, they occasionally offer roasted sweet potatoes, and the hotel also provides free bicycle rentals.
Facilities: Relatively new

GGuest UserThe large floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of the real mountain. The service is very good and friendly. The breakfast is delicious. There is a projection screen in the room for watching movies. It is clean and hygienic, and the facilities are complete. I stayed for three days and I want to stay there again. 100 points

LLeob*98The hotel was simply amazing: perfect location, outstanding view from the swimming pool and the garden, fantastic service as well as a super nice hotel staff. They offer you a driver service to go to the waterfalls or to simply eat something outside.
If you are tired and just want to relax at the hotel they offer an afternoon tea service with plenty of snacks.
At night time you can enjoy a BBQ while watching a movie at their outdoor cinema.

EEatPrayTravelLocation of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.

GGuest UserBooked this hotel when going to Detian Waterfall. You can avoid traffic jams during holidays. When we came out of the scenic area and saw the long queues on the road for several kilometers, we were lucky. The hotel is in the Old Kapok Scenic Area. The environment is good. You can also take pictures of the boundary monument. The tent room is really small but complete.

Ii_zoeThe hotel's design is very stylish! The room views are nice! There were cobwebs on the balcony, especially noticeable when the lights were on at night.
The breakfast was quite substantial compared to other guesthouses.
I arrived at the hotel after 9 PM, which was a bit late, and the front desk service was so-so!
The bathtub faucet had low water pressure and a weak flow; it took almost an hour to fill, and I even had to use a kettle to fill it…
Being near a side road, there was some traffic noise.
