GGuest UserFacilities: The hotel seems to have been built in 2020, so it's quite new. All facilities are smart, including a Bluetooth speaker, coffee machine, mini-bar, private hot spring bath, and smart toilet. Hygiene: I found a 'letter from a gecko' in the room, and sure enough, I saw a gecko! Although it looks scary, it's afraid of humans, so just ignore it. The staff replenished the mini-bar and daily necessities every day, and the room was cleaned very well with turndown service. Environment: The public areas are beautiful, nestled by mountains and water. You can enjoy the outdoor scenery right from your bed. Other public areas are also cozy and clean. The lobby is absolutely stunning, and they even offered three complimentary travel photoshoots. Service: Staff members were friendly and greeted me everywhere I went; they're clearly well-trained. A day before arrival, a butler added me on WeChat to send hotel activities and arrange things. They delivered evening desserts daily, provided sunrise/sunset times and free activity schedules for the next day, and the shuttle bus notifications were always on time. They were responsive to all my questions and thoughtfully provided mosquito repellent – very good. My butler was named Jolly~

HHongshoushouI spent two months researching and comparing hotels, and while places like 'Secret Realm' and 'Changliu' next door were super expensive, this one won my heart not just with its reasonable price but also its French-inspired decor. The check-in process was incredibly smooth, and the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. First, upon arrival, they immediately helped with our luggage and registered our car for parking. They also promptly informed us about the photo spot on the hotel's rooftop 😎. Second, the breakfast on the second day was clean, hygienic, and individually portioned, which was very comfortable. Later, because my whole family got food poisoning from a roadside stall near the cross-border waterfall, I'm especially, especially, especially impressed and grateful for the hotel's food hygiene! Finally, my child wears OK lenses but forgot the removal tool and couldn't take them out with their hands. In a panic, we had to ask the hotel staff for help, and a young lady was incredibly skilled, removing the lenses in an instant. I'm truly very grateful. My parents also said the hotel beds were very comfortable and the toothbrushes were excellent, so they insisted I mention it in the review~ hahaha. Chongzuo is beautiful, and this little B&B offers many more surprises. I hope the B&B continues to improve~ Oh, a small suggestion: maybe prepare some stomach medicine. After all, there are many people like me who get upset stomachs when traveling due to unfamiliar food and water.

PPuddytat1. Amazing hospitality. The hotel owner, Shaowei was there to help us in every possible way. She brought us to see the panoramic view of Mingshi Tianyuan with her own expenses. She also took us to another place to watch native people’s dance, sing and bonfire after dinner. She also helped me to catch a local bus to another town. Her kindness was simply beyond my expectations. If I come back to Mingshi, the reason will be not the town itself, but Shaowei. 2. Flawless cleanness Everything looked to be built just now. Clean, comfortable and tidy. No smell of cigarette or whatsoever. 3. Decent breakfast Breakfast is simple but the taste is good. You can enjoy rice noodle, rice porridge and fruits with good tea and soy milk. 4. Great location The hotel is located close to the bus station and you can get on any local bus passing by easily. Good restaurants are everywhere nearby as well. Thank you so much for all the help and care. I really wish to meet you again.

It's very close to the town's pedestrian street, where you can find breakfast and local specialties. The owners are very friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

AAimaoxiandeyayaHey Shanghainese folks, listen up! It's only a few hundred meters from the actual main entrance, but for lazy people, it might be a bit of a trek. You can drive there, and parking is 30 RMB. The guesthouse itself is really great – clean and relatively quiet! It's the tallest and largest guesthouse around, standing out from the ones on either side, so the views are unobstructed. During the National Day holiday, things were busy, but the landlady kept her cool and was super responsive to everything, which I really appreciated. Honestly, after looking around this trip, the service here was better than other so-called high-end guesthouses. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. There's parking right outside. I didn't have the landlady buy the 80 RMB tickets for me because she couldn't get them until 8:30 AM, and the scenic area opens at 7:30 AM. I bought my 110 RMB ticket online directly and was the first one through the gates on National Day. By 9 AM, when I was done and leaving, the peak crowds were just arriving. Then I went back to the guesthouse, took a shower, had some noodles, and relaxed watching a Vietnamese drama – pretty sweet!

GGuest User1. The service was absolutely fantastic, from the front desk staff to the cleaning aunties. Their warmth felt genuinely sincere, not just a professional facade. 2. The environment is great, with a very large backyard that includes playground facilities, a swimming pool, a cinema, and relaxation areas. My child particularly loved the table football and played for a long time, having a blast. 3. The scenery is beautiful; just by opening the curtains, you're greeted with karst topography. Sitting on the windowsill, enjoying the view, and having a short rest, I could easily spend an entire afternoon there.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to the fish scale dam, the location is very good, it used to take a minute or two, and the scenery outside the window is also very good. If it is more convenient to drive by car, because we are not driving by car, it is very inconvenient to go to the visitor center to eat by car. The original boss said that it can be delivered for free. The next morning, the aunt asked us to charge 5-15 yuan to send it to the visitor center by car. There are no restaurants nearby, there are stains on the sheets of the room that cannot be washed off, the pillows are a bit smelly, and the sound is generally soundproof.

You’ll arrive right as the people who have to bus in arrive but if you’re not in a group you can get ahead of everyone and enjoy the park and be on your way around noon

EEatPrayTravelLocation of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a little far from Chongzuo but you can hire a Didi for about 380RMB from the chongzuo train station. The hotel is located in a beautiful park where you can take a walk and see the 100 doors (I think it was called) and walk all the way to the border post 3. It's was surreal. Across the river you can see Vietnamese house and people. we waved. a drone showed up we left. To go to the waterfall we walked from the hotel to the tourist center. About a 45 minute walk. Not bad once you get there. The hotel is old and starting to show the tear. You can tell it was once great but no renovations have been made in forever. The carpet had stains on it. not tiny ones. The little mini balcony was dusty. The bed was big but on the hard side. The towels are frazzling it was unbelievable. The breakfast , if you are not full on on Chinese breakfast its a no no. AND no coffee EVEN though the COFFEE MACHINE looked like it had just been plugged off. sign sating being fixed. come on .It's a 4 diamond rating but it felt more like 2. It's also smaller than it links in the video and pics. There's an awesome restaurant at the entrance on the right. It made a whole lotta difference. Highly reccomend eating here. And we did!Twice. Food was not bad. definitely order the ribs. The staff is nice especially the restaurant lady. Would I stay again? NO
