The hotel's environment and supporting facilities are very good. It is surrounded by the sea, has hot springs and a large bath, and also provides afternoon tea and snacks at night. The hotel's buffet breakfast and dinner are also of very high quality, with a wide variety of food and good taste. The only problem is that the hotel is located in a remote area, making it difficult to get in and out.

Good Onsen style hotel with sea view near to Kii-Tanabe station (very convenient if you will start a walking rout of Kumano Kodo starting from Kii-Tanabe).
The hotel is a little bit old fashion but every corner of the room and public spaces were in very good conditions.
Just be careful because there is some rooms with private toilet but with shared shower/bath, considering that is a Onsen style hotel (we booked a twin room with private toilet but we never image that the bath/shower was shared in the Onsen facilities).

Facilities: The room is so small, almost the box can't be spread out.
Hygienic: It is still relatively clean.
Environment: Not far from the station, very close to the food street Weiguang Road.
Service: The old lady does not speak English and communication is a bit difficult. Storage of luggage for one day is also charged.

🏨Clean and tidy, relatively spacious. The little Shiba at the door is also very cute. The hotel service is very good and efficient. 🥾If you need to walk the Kumano Kodo, you need a stamped notebook📒. Just ask for it. There are free and 100 yen versions. If you need to send 🧳luggage, you can also make an appointment. It can be sent on the same day. It is 4500 yen to the Hongu area (Yunomine Onsen). Only cash payment is accepted. 711 at the JR station can also be sent, which will be cheaper, but it needs to be sent one day in advance. The disadvantage is that there is no public bath, but as a starting point, it is not so tiring. It doesn’t affect it too much. Secondly, although the straight-line distance to the station is very close, it is still a bit roundabout to actually walk to the JR station.
