"It's very close to the airport. The room is big, and the two double beds are big. I didn't mention it when I lived in a family of four. I fell asleep very comfortably. It's a nice hotel with good service. It's worth recommending"
"Clean hotel in a good location. The AC did not work during my stay so it was very hot in my room. Also the fire alarm randomly went off at 3 am. I will definitely choose a different hotel next time."
"My husband and I travel to Milwaukee each year for his birthday. We chose this hotel for its location in proximity to our dinner reservation and the attractions we had planned. There were several negative reviews for this hotel regarding check in, cleanliness, and parking, I'd like to share my feedback to ensure travelers do not deter from staying at this hotel for those reasons. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by a friendly front desk staff and were able to check in promptly at 4pm. We were able to conveniently park in their side lot while we brought our belongings up to our room. The room was extremely spacious and had beautiful upgrades and convenient amenities such as a full kitchen. The high ceilings really made this room unique. Everything in the room was very clean. There is a parking garage directly across from the hotel which was easy to access and only cost $22.00 a night to park. When staying in downtown MKE it is to be expected that you will pay for parking, and knowing our car was in a covered garage was peace of mind. We choose to Uber to our destinations, so we didn't have to find parking multiple times, and we never had to wait more than a few minutes for our ride to arrive. My only disappointment was there was no happy hour. I was under the impression there was a cocktail hour offered, but it didn't take away from our stay, as there were several liquor stores within walking distance to grab a drink for the room while we got ready. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with options, fresh, hot, and the egg bites were delicious. The last thing I will add which is huge for me, they have complimentary water, hot water for tea, and coffee in the lobby at all times. I hate forgetting to bring a water bottle for the middle of the night when staying at a hotel, so I loved this feature. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again in the future! Don't let the negative reviews sway your decision. This was a beautiful, newly converted hotel that you should absolutely check out next time you are staying in the area."
"The staff is friendly and the hotel interior is nice.
Bacon and fruit for breakfast were delicious.
The room was bigger than I thought and nice.
The facilities are a bit old, so when I changed to a shower, the faucet creaked and didn't work well. The water pressure is weak."
"1. Breakfast: Canal street cafe in the lobby, completely Western-style! 2. Not suitable for bringing children (casino hotel); 3. The hotel location is not convenient and the surrounding environment is general; the hotel parking lot is large and hotel guests are free! Hotel room soundproof! 4, recommend friends who like ”small gambling”"
"The room is clean, the location is good, the soundproofing is good, and it is very safe. The front desk guy was very enthusiastic and showed me how to park. It was a good experience. An unforgettable trip to Milwaukee"
"The location is good, in the city center, very close to the Bucks' home stadium, walking distance. The front desk staff was welcoming and felt at home. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good."
"My boyfriend and I spent one night here since we were in town for a friend's wedding. Since we were only there one night, we didn't really take advantage of the full kitchen, restaurant, or spa; however, the room was clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great, but I have a feeling its because it's a historic building. "

Amazing
TTravelTheSkyGreat experience ! Front desk staff was welcoming, room was very clean and interior was beautiful. Only stayed there one night for a concert but I would love to return to this hotel. One weird thing: the tv remotes might have been connected/interfering with other rooms? In the middle of the night it seemed as if someone else was controlling the volume and it was hard to adjust besides turning the TV off manually.
AApril FilesThis may be one of the finest hotels we experienced during our travels in the USA. The staff were exceptionally friendly, starting from the moment we entered the hotel. Ms. Stephanie, we are incredibly grateful for your kind assistance and understanding. They recognized how exhausted we were from our adventures at the remarkable Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, so they expedited our check-in process and provided us with various resources to help us regain our energy. They truly paid attention to our needs and responded swiftly. We sincerely appreciate that. The room is clean and cozy, and the view from the 23rd floor is fantastic. The food is excellent. The Harley-Davidson Museum is located just about a mile from the hotel, and we were able to reach many fascinating places within walking distance. The city view is breathtaking. We hope to return to Milwaukee someday, and if we do, we will certainly choose The Pfister Hotel again. Thank you very much!
GGuest UserFor a 2 star hotel, you get exactly what you pay for. So while I can’t complain, just know what you’re signing up for and don’t have above average expectations. Had no issues with staff and appreciate the well lit parking lot with cameras (we’ve had our car broken into multiple times in MKE so this meant a lot to us). Room was decently clean but dog fur was very much present as well as someone’s hair on the pillows.
MMac MkGreat place to stay but deposit takes a long time to get back, at least for me. Bathrooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast is included and very good. Cloth hangers are available and a personal safe is there also. Nice big tv as well. And several cups are available in the room.
GGuest UserNo frills hotel, meets the basic needs.
First night walking on the carpet in our room barefoot & the carpet seemed damp, like maybe they steam cleaned it. I used the pull out couch for my 5 year old, when setting it up I noticed a heavily wet spot in the carpet by the mini fridge, the pullout is fine for kids that can sleep on anything but I found it too thin to even comfortably sit on.
By morning the wet spot by the fridge was even bigger, we informed the front desk & they said they'd let maintenance know to go up to check, to our knowledge they never did.
The pool was nice & luke warm at all times, they use salt water which is nicer than the chemical smell of chlorine.
The included breakfast buffet is ok. The waffle maker is always a hit with kids. We recommend skipping the eggs and sausage, they gave us tummy troubles. Coffee was awful according to my husband & tea provided is just plain Lipton.
Location right off the expressway is great, travel to downtown events was less than 15 minutes away. Plenty of stores & restaurants nearby.
For a fully booked weekend stay it was very quiet.
We would consider going here again for the price, pool & location.
GGuest UserI have stayed here before and the location and price were right. This time however I was very disappointed and honestly feel I should recieve a refund do to the condition of the room. For starters there were roaches behind the bed and by the desk area and the carpet was seemed together terribly . Did not appear that the room was cleaned very well at all. Then I went to take a shower and notice it had zip ties and tinfoil holding some of the shower head together. I had a first floor room and the window latch was broken as well. This was very dissatisfying and definetly made it hard to sleep after noticing roaches behind the bed . I usually never leave reviews if I’m not satisfied with something but I feel an obligation to leave this review to prevent any traveling business people from picking this hotel because the location is great but it is a party hotel if you ask me. I would definetly like to be refunded for this terrible experience.
GGuest UserFirst off, the signage for parking attached to the hotel was poor. The access to the hotel from the parking ramp was not labeled very well. There is nothing on the web site that states where the parking ramp access is. And the ramp as not full size truck friendly. The exercise room was in disrepair. Only 1 of the 2 elevators worked. Although I did not have have time to use the pool or hot tub, they were very small.
The room was clean, and the water pressure was good. The continental breakfast was very good. And it was only a leisurely walk to the Fiserv Forum.
GGuest UserThe whole experience was good except for the fact that it is under construction so the ice machine doesn't work the room was dirty when I got to it there was trash under the couch, it basically had to be cleaned so we had to clean it ourselves. And the restaurant that's attached to the hotel is a rip off but other than that it was decent.
GGuest UserThe room and location were great--the guests were not. Walls were super thing and sounds like there were multiple parties happening. When I complained about the noise to the front desk, they asked me ”well what do you want me to do?” Also the morning person for check out was very rude when I asked for a receipt.
