Best Menghai Hotels

I traveled with my 60-year-old parents and rented a car to drive in Xishuangbanna. It was very noisy in Gaozhuang, so I decided to come to Menghai and booked this hotel temporarily. When I checked in, it was beyond imagination. It should be the most cost-effective hotel I have ever stayed in! There were not too many people for five people, and Xiaomei at the front desk was very enthusiastic. She upgraded the room type for free, helped with luggage, and provided transportation to the resort's attractions... There was also a tea table in the lobby with an unlimited supply of Pu'er tea cakes. I was really satisfied! #Dining room

My boyfriend and I came to Bohai this trip to learn about the tea industry. This time I accidentally chose Xiaoyue's family. I only learned that the owner and the proprietress of this homestay have tea gardens, tea bases and homestays in Shanghai. We temporarily changed our plan and wanted to live directly in the tea garden to experience the whole process. The aunt at the hotel enthusiastically helped us contact the boss and his wife, and arranged for us to go up the mountain late at night. The boss is very simple and enthusiastic, and will answer all questions. The next day, I took us up the mountain to see the tea tree. I learned the tea making process at the base. I tasted tea and the fruit tree could be picked and eaten casually. Their tea is of high quality, affordable, and recommended by conscience. This journey is really a great benefit, and it is a worthwhile trip.

是個茶園，環境真的是不錯，服務也很好。上山的路到後半段新手司機就別嘗試了😅。因為有段較長的向下步行階梯，為了方便，老闆特地裝了個運行李的電梯。大隱於市，城市待膩了，過來住幾天很不錯，因為是剛開業，有些設施可能還不是太完善，不是獨立棟的房間隔音不太好，能聽到隔壁鄰居的說話聲和呼嚕聲，用水聲等等聲音😅😂🤣。晚上可以看到很多星星，用手機也能拍。

The four  suites we booked in this villa are very suitable for ． All the facilities are very complete! Especially there is a separate courtyard tea house so beautiful ． with a separate kitchen. Everything has a supporting ． hot springs in the courtyard ♨️ pool is very beautiful! In short, very good 👍 must come again in winter ．．

The B&B in the Yi village, the room is clean, simple and comfortable, the bedding and disposable products are brands, the rest is quiet at night, the design of the wooden structure is very characteristic, the photo is very good, the sunset in the village is intoxicating, you can look up at the starry sky at night, you can go to the tea mountain during the day to experience tea picking, You can also fry yourself when you come back. This is all we don’t have in the city. At night, listen to the boss tell the story of Pu’er tea. A word stick.

The hotel environment is very good and has the feeling of Chiang Mai. In particular, the boss's tea is very good, the cooked tea is particularly prominent, the first mouth is very sweet cooked tea is rare. I especially like to drink tea, so I like to come to Banna. I will drink tea with the boss next time. This time I am a little regrettable.

A really relaxing and enjoyable stay at JiangLu Nanuoshan Mountain Inn. Scenic location nestled in the mountains, the weather here was cooler and more comfortable than in nearby Jinghong. The rooftop cafe was a great place to see the beautiful sunset each evening, and the room balcony view was also spectacular. Would recommend the morning tea hike activity, it was a great way to better understand where tea comes from and sample Pu'er tea once back at the hotel. If you are up for a longer hike (1.5 hours each way) you can also walk up the scenic mountain road to see a nearby ancient tea tree. Food was excellent, enjoyable breakfast and a variety of delicious dishes available for dinner. Hotel service was first rate, hotel staff checked in often to make sure that the room and the stay were great. Will definitely stay here again on next visit to Xishuangbanna!

The window lock is all broken, and the room is poorly soundproofed on the street. 3. The room service staff did not knock on the door and swiped the card directly to enter.

The best part about this hotel was the absolutely spectacular view of the surrounding maintains and valley from the spacious minimalist room and huge terrace; the sunset was among the best I’ve seen in my travels. Another highlight was the food (an extra but reasonable charge) which was plentiful, local, fresh and delicious. Be forewarned that because of the hotel’s isolated location in the mountains (about 1.5 hours from the city), there are no local restaurants or shops, so stock up on any extras/supplies before you arrive (coffee, wine, snacks included). I understand that the owners (who are very hands off) are in the tea business and have a plantation nearby, but unfortunately (perhaps due to the language difference), I wasn’t given any information about this so did not get to experience a tour. One thing that could be improved is the wifi, which was slow but adequate. I ended up extending my stay by 3 nights and spent most of my days reading on the terrace. I would recommend this inn to people looking for a quiet nature getaway.
