Best Matosinhos Hotels

"Great Stay – Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was clean, and the beds were super comfy. The location was great—close to the airport, not far from the beach, and with easy access to a bus that goes to the city. Free parking was a big perk and made things even more convenient. Breakfast was decent and did the job. The only downside was the noise at night. The road can be busy, and a dog nearby barks throughout the night, so keeping the window open wasn’t an option. It would have also been nice if the room had an iron or steamer. Aside from that, the staff were lovely, and the hotel was very convenient and well-maintained. Would definitely stay again!"

"This was not the first time I've been at this hotel. It's a nice place to spend a few nights. The breakfast food is good in terms of variety and the staff is nice and helpful. The spa is always a pleasant place for you to relax. However, the buttons of the jets don't work properly, specially the ones that are only accessible when you are in the pool, which can be frustrating if you like to use them and won't be able to. This time, the sauna was out of work, as well, but they were fixing it. They didn't really seem worried about fixing the jets' buttons, though... When I was at the hotel last year, they weren't already working properly, but now I couldn't even get them to work. The ones that would work, wouldn't be active for a long time after you pressed on them. In other Spas, they usually work for a few minutes when you turn them on. In this one, they would only be active for about 20/30 seconds at a time. The room I stayed in, had a different display. You would go through a corridor with the bathroom at the front and on the left you had the sleeping area. I liked it because it would conceal the noises coming from the outside a bit better. All rooms have a balcony, but something that feels that is always missing are a couple of chairs and a table. The balcony becomes useless without them! I couldn't open the bathroom door well (not even in 90 degrees in relation to the entrance) because it would bump on the bidet. Also, the shower and glass covering the bathtub seemed to be at the wrong wall because it was inevitable to wet the entire toilet when you showered. The corners were a bit dusty and the bathroom bin hasn't been changed from the previous guest. I think the cleanliness can be improved."

"It was New Year's Day and I spent New Year's Eve here. It was very quiet here, but it was very convenient to buy anything. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the seafood restaurant street. There are many choices and the taste is good. Especially the guy with glasses at the front desk was very helpful and enthusiastic."

"It's well-organaized hotel near a big shopping mall in Porto. Stuff are specially kind. I felt there are something more than the price. If you are tourist who lack of time, it might be better to choose the accomodation located in the center of the city. However, If you have time, this hotel must be one of the good option. I visited not only major tourist spots in Porto but also I welt the fish port market town Matosinhos 20 min metro ride from this hotel and enjoy the seafood there."

"It was a relatively clean and accessible accommodation to stay while walking on the Santiago pilgrimage road. I was sorry that the soundproofing was not good, but it was nice to be able to relax as it was."

"We got very cozy house with own bathroom and it was really good. You get everything you need there. Good equiped kithcen area, indoor dinner place and outdoor terrace, bathroom is also good for this type of accomodation. Pool was already open in May, but it was a little bit cold for it, but it looks nice. Cozy territory makes you feel in a forest. We stayed there for night on our Camino Way, but I wish I could stay there for longer."

"Underbart rum med aircondition på åttonde våningen med utsikt ända bort till Atlanten. Rummet är stort, sängen är mycket bekväm, bra kuddar, bra förvaring i stor garderob, det finns en liten kyl att ha dricka och annat i, ett litet bord med två sittplatser och en bra tv med flera nyhetskanaler. Badrummet är stort, badkar och dusch, bidé och handfat. Mycket bra läge oxå, nära till stranden och flera butiker och restauranger precis runt hörnet om boendet. Spårvagnen in till centrala Porto och tågstationen Campanha stannar precis utanför hotellet. Området är lugnt och tryggt, ett perfekt boende för den som vill vila upp sig på stranden på dagarna och åka in till stan på kvällarna, eller bara stanna i området och äta på någon av de lokala restaurangerna."
