La Carmela de Boracay Hotel

La Carmela de Boracay Hotel

📍 Station 2, Balabag, Boracay Island, White Beach Path, Manoc - Manoc, Boracay Island
★★★ 8.7 (1,599 reviews)

"Had a wonderful 1-night stay at La Carmela de Boracay! Even though it was a short trip, I got some amazing rest. I slept for three hours right after checking in and another solid eight hours at night because the bed was so comfortable. The room was very clean, and all the amenities—the air conditioner, TV, and refrigerator—were working perfectly. I also loved that the room had its own private terrace and even included a Bible. While I didn't get a chance to try the pool, the hotel’s location is excellent since it is just a short walk to the beach. Highly recommended for a comfortable and relaxing stay! And thank you trip.com for giving promo and I got a chance to stay in this hotel."

"Hygiene: There were ants in the bathroom. Facilities: The pop-up drain stopper in the bathtub was faulty; I had to constantly pull it up for the water to drain, which was annoying. Ambiance: The hotel as a whole is relatively new."

Hannah Hotel Hotels in Malay

Hannah Hotel

"The room was surprisingly pleasant. Cozy and natural. Bathroom has that sewer smell however. Includes a balcony where you can hang your wet swimming clothes. Poor wifi signal. Had to rely on my phone which I have to put near the window because even that has poor signal. Visiting restrictions past 10pm is disappointing."

Feliz Hotel Boracay Hotels in Malay

Feliz Hotel Boracay

"The hotel is cozy, clean, and beautiful! The location is super convenient, right in the middle of a bunch of cafes and little shops. You don't have to go far for anything. Even though the hotel is right in the thick of things, there's a courtyard that provides a nice escape from the crowds, which is really handy. In the evenings, there's entertainment in the courtyard. There's also a rooftop pool at the hotel. And the massage was excellent; we went to a therapist named Lara. The service is also great. The ladies at the front desk are always ready to help. We asked them to pack a breakfast for our child because we were checking out early, and our child doesn't eat much in the morning. We managed to have breakfast ourselves at 6 AM. They prepared a breakfast for the child and accommodated our requests. The breakfasts at the hotel are a solid 4 out of 5. I felt there weren't quite enough dishes, but you definitely won't go hungry. The rooms have everything you need for comfort – robes, slippers, and toiletries. There's even hair conditioner and body lotion. This is an excellent hotel – I wholeheartedly recommend it. It's a 2-minute walk to the sea. There aren't any private sun loungers, but they do provide beach towels."

"Our first night was in a large suite, which was lovely. We then moved to a standard room, which was also perfectly fine. The hotel's location is excellent; it's quiet yet only a 10-minute walk to D'Mall and Station 2. They offer airport transfers, which is super convenient and reasonably priced. Plus, there are plenty of tricycles right outside the hotel, making it easy to get around."

Henann Prime Beach Resort Hotels in Malay

Henann Prime Beach Resort

"There are at least 5 Henann hotels on Boracay, and this one is quieter, located in Station 1. The ones in Station 2 might be better, but this hotel has the best beach with fine white sand and shallow water, perfect for kids or casual swimmers. It's also the best spot for sunsets. The hotel offers a return airport transfer (van + boat + van to the hotel) for 2315 pesos, and a 4000 peso deposit is required. The rooms are standard, but the direct pool access rooms are quite convenient. Recommended!"

The Lind Boracay Hotels in Malay

The Lind Boracay

"Overall, it was a good experience. The hotel provided transfers from the airport to the pier and then to the hotel, so I didn't have to worry much about logistics. The only hiccup was that they forgot one of my suitcases on the boat when I was leaving... The room itself was quite nice, and there was a welcome gift. Breakfast was also quite plentiful. Remember to bring cash as the deposit is 5000 pesos per day, and getting your cash deposit back at checkout is the most convenient option."

Henann Crystal Sands Resort Hotels in Malay

Henann Crystal Sands Resort

"Location is amazing so close to the beach , water activities , stalls and restaurants. The hotel itself is ok has a bad smell within the room and service was below average. The skydeck pool is amazing as the main pool stinks of cholrine so everyone is on the top deck. It was worth the view and access to everything only. Food options were okay"

Movenpick Resort & Spa Boracay Hotels in Malay

Movenpick Resort & Spa Boracay

"Beautiful location, gorgeous private beach, helpful and friendly staff. Good selection of food at breakfast and I loved the shrimp balls and bbq octopus satay in the evenings. Small issues with the room,my toilet would leak a bit and the decorative blue pillow with the shells on it smelled damp/moldy. Otherwise good entertainment, happy hour deals. Great stay."

"We had a wonderful stay and truly appreciate the excellent service from all the staff. Everyone was very kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. During our stay, my son got sick, and the staff went above and beyond to take extra care of us. Their support and concern made a stressful situation much more manageable, and we are very grateful for that. The buffet was also great, with a good selection including vegan options, which we really appreciated. It made dining easy and enjoyable for our family. My child also had a fantastic time at the pool—it was definitely one of the highlights of our stay! Overall, we had a very positive experience and would gladly recommend this hotel."

"It was great to have a water dispenser in the common area. They only provided bath towels (is this a common thing in the Philippines? Every hotel I've stayed at did the same). You'll need to bring your own kettle, cups, refrigerator, slippers, toothbrush, hairdryer, and soap, as they weren't provided. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also close to the sea, which was a big plus! I'm glad I stayed here!!"

"After we reported the cockroach issue in our original room, they moved us to another one. However, then a much more serious problem arose: the sushi at the hotel's buffet dinner was sour, posing a severe food safety risk. After eating it, we immediately suffered from acute gastroenteritis, experiencing a high fever for three days. Upon returning home, it was so severe that we had to be hospitalized. To make matters worse, the hotel even charged us for medication. The whole experience was absolutely terrible."
