Amazing
GGuest UserGreat location, just a leisurely 10-minute walk to the beach, and plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby.
The service was outstanding. The staff were friendly and very responsive. Rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. Housekeeping was daily, and the linens were changed frequently (about 7 times in 10 days). They even wished my husband a happy birthday, which was a lovely touch. When I fell ill, they brought me ginger and honey tea.
The only thing missing was a balcony.

Great
CChloe C. LinThe service was excellent, as expected of a COAST hotel. Every staff member was smiling and ready to assist every guest. They were responsive to requests and remembered guests' names, making guests feel respected. The room had everything they needed, but the facilities were quite old, the soundproofing was poor, and there was a lot of mold in the bathroom. I strongly suggest the hotel renovate it. It's about a five-minute walk to the beach.
GGuest UserThe hotel left a very pleasant impression. I'd like to highlight its key advantages, which made our stay comfortable and delicious.
Pros (things that really impressed us):
1. Location: The hotel is in a very convenient location. What's also valuable is the peace and quiet. It's not as crowded as Station 1 or 2, but all amenities are easily accessible.
2. Room: We had a wonderful room with direct access to the pool. This is a huge plus: you can jump right in the water in the morning or sit by your mini-terrace in the evening. The room is clean and comfortable.
3. Staff: A special thank you to the hotel staff. They are very kind, conscientious, and do their job well. All requests were resolved quickly, with a smile and a genuine desire to help. You can feel their genuine care for their guests.
4. Cuisine/Breakfast: Breakfast was included in the price and was a real highlight of the morning. Very tasty, filling, and varied. But the biggest discovery was the vegetarian breakfast. It was so delicious and filling that I ordered only that for the last few days of my stay.
A major drawback / Beware (personal experience):
Be careful when leaving the hotel grounds. There are tour vendors (excursion vendors) standing near the hotel. Unfortunately, they're not very reliable. We encountered them actively pushing services, and then they might change the terms after the deal. I recommend either booking excursions in advance at trusted locations or ignoring the guys at the entrance to avoid ruining your mood.
Bottom Line:
Banana Bay Boracay is a real find. It offers the perfect balance of price, quality, peace and home comfort. The amazing staff and hearty vegetarian breakfasts made our stay almost perfect. I'd return without a second thought, but I'll be giving the vendors at the entrance a wide berth.

Great
DDream TimThe location is great, but the overall stay could be better. Firstly, in our room it says ”two full beds”, but it's not full, as 2 people can hardly sleep together on one bed. Also we didn't like the rule about the sunbeds, that people came to the beach at 6-7 am, put the towel and then left for many hours, and the sunbeds will be ”reserved” for them. At some point, there were no available sunbeds with no people on occupied ones.
Staff is helpful, they're trying to solve everything, but in the end, some rules have to be changed in order to improve the service. Also, for the cleaning, you need to request every time for it, and if you didn't request, there will be no cleaning.
Seaside restaurant and bar sofas are good, but also can be reserved with no people sitting there.
NNataKosEverything was great overall — we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful, the coffee is excellent, and the staff are wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.
The only issue we noticed was with the sunbeds. Many guests reserve them early and then don’t use them for the whole day. Because outside drinks aren’t allowed on the beach, guests can’t even buy a shake or another drink elsewhere and bring it in, so they’re left without a place to sit. I think the bar might be losing quite a lot of money because of this.
Maybe it would help to introduce a policy where, if a sunbed isn’t used for, say, 2 hours, the towels could be removed and the spot made available for other guests. Two hours feels like a reasonable time.
But overall, it’s a great hotel and we had a lovely experience.

MManzano JoshuaHad a wonderful stay at La Carmela de Boracay! The location is super convenient since it’s beachfront and close to many restaurants, stores, and activities around Boracay.
The staff were very accommodating and friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. Sulit din yung stay because of the amenities and relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for families, friends, or even solo travelers who want to enjoy Boracay without spending too much.
Overall, a great experience and definitely a place I would recommend and stay in again! 🌴✨

YYhanjadeWe had a wonderful stay at NIG niGI . The location right on the beach is absolutely perfect—just a few steps from the lobby and our feet were in the sand. The beach area was clean, well-maintained, and never felt overcrowded, which made for a very relaxing break.
As a family/solo traveler, I really appreciated the sense of security here. We felt completely comfortable leaving our belongings on the loungers while swimming, and the property overall felt very well-monitored and safe at all hours.
Everything about the stay was hassle-free. The hotel is a quick drive from the airport/main attractions, and there’s a convenience store just a short walk away for any last-minute snacks or toiletries. Check-in was smooth, and the valet/concierge team was very helpful with local recommendations.
If you're looking for a place where you can truly unwind without worrying about logistics or safety, this is it. We will definitely be returning for another beach getaway.

AAnonymous UserWe recently stayed at Lime Resort Boracay and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. While the location is good and the amenities are decent, that’s where the positives end.
The service was poor, staff were not very responsive or accommodating, which already affected our stay. On top of that, the room clearly needs renovation. It felt outdated and not well-maintained, which was far from what I expected.
The breakfast was also a big letdown and definitely needs improvement. The quality and selection were disappointing, and overall it did not feel worth it.
Overall, this place has potential because of its location and facilities, but with the current condition of the rooms, poor service, and underwhelming breakfast, I wouldn’t consider it a satisfying stay.

GGuest UserExcellent beachfront location with very friendly and responsive staff. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but the location and service more than make up for it. There's no currency exchange at the front desk, and a 1000 peso deposit is required at check-in. The Wi-Fi works perfectly. There's a cafe and bar in the hotel courtyard offering various breakfast options and easy snacks. The hotel also provides sun loungers and beach towels. Highly recommend ❤️❤️❤️. I also strongly suggest having lunch or dinner at the Villa Caemilla hotel restaurant (just 30-50 meters from this hotel, towards the port). The service and cuisine there are among the best in Boracay, and it's only slightly more expensive than other places.
MMR NOBODY76Check in was fast. Staff and security were friendly. Great location in front of the beach. But the resort seems old and the floor in the room was sticky. 3 options of pool to relax in. Booked a deluxe room even though I was alone. Room was big. The towels were worn out though.
