"I found this hotel on Ctrip. It's said to be one of the best five-star hotels in Chenzhou. The lobby exudes the grandeur expected of a five-star hotel. The front desk representative, Xiao Ou, was warm and attentive, always accommodating my needs. Seeing I was traveling with my child, she upgraded me to a quieter room and provided breakfast for my child—such a thoughtful gesture. The room was clean and tidy. While it didn't have the automatic curtains and other features of some smart hotels, the service more than made up for it. The cleaning lady noticed I was doing laundry and brought me laundry detergent. She also provided a variety of fruits every day. The breakfast was rich and varied, including Chenzhou specialties like fish noodles and pig-killing noodles, which my children loved."

"Facilities: The hotel has been open for some years, so the facilities aren't super new, but the room was quite spacious and had pretty much everything you'd need. There's no minibar in the room. The swimming pool is open from 3 PM to just past 9 PM. The hotel is surrounded by schools, so there are plenty of small eateries and restaurants nearby. The soundproofing in the rooms could use some improvement... Cleanliness: Clean. Environment: The hotel is quite close to the highway exit, which is convenient. Service: The bellboy in the lobby was very polite. When we were leaving, he proactively and warmly greeted us, helped with our luggage, and even brought it to the car. I forgot his name, I don't think I saw a name tag on his uniform. The hotel breakfast was all very clean, and the variety was quite rich."

"This stay exceeded my expectations! The room was very spacious, and the amenities, including the bedding, felt really high quality. I had a very comfortable stay. What really stood out were the thoughtful details, like the retractable clothesline in the shower – I’ve stayed in so many hotels where I never know where to hang my laundry. And the smart toilet was a nice touch! 👍 The breakfast was also excellent and offered a wide variety of good quality food. As for location, it’s about a 10-15 minute drive from Chenzhou West Station, 20 minutes from Beihu Park, and also about 20 minutes from the Train Head Canteen, assuming no traffic. If I had to find a fault, it would be that it's a bit far from Dongjiang Lake and Feitian Mountain – about an hour and 40 minutes respectively."

"The itinerary was basic, but the hotel was anything but. We stayed at a truly elegant hotel on the other side of the Xiaodong River. I pondered for a long time what words to describe it. It had a wabi-sabi feel, yet the details were human and warm. It had a traditional style, yet the rooms reflected a technological and modern aesthetic. Finally, I realized this might be the ”quality” we were looking for. It's said that the owner had previously worked as a teacher, then achieved financial independence by starting a tech company. In his 50s, he built a hotel, freed from worldly scrutiny and able to design and operate it to his own taste. In the evening, I sat in the lounge, enjoying a rich cocktail, listening to the graceful guzheng music, and observing the beautiful young women. All my emotional wrinkles were smoothed out, leaving behind a stable core. Not only the food and accommodation, but also the hotel's cultural experience programs were thoughtfully curated. The hotel also has its own dock with direct access to the Xiaodong River Visitor Center on the other side. Riding on a bamboo raft, the river breeze caressed my face, making me feel that life is beautiful and life is precious."

"The customer service staff is very enthusiastic and the environment is good. We are traveling by car. The hotel is close to the highway entrance and exit, with convenient transportation and not far from Yuhou Street! There are not many breakfast options because the hotel is not large, but it is acceptable! The one I ordered has a bathtub 🛁, and all disposable items are prepared! Very convenient! The free snacks include milk, soda and biscuits"

However, it was quite hot when I entered the room due to the afternoon sun, but it cooled down after turning on the air conditioning. There is underground parking available for free. "I stayed at the Zhiqing Resort Hotel in Chenzhou for two days, and it felt like stepping into a paradise described by Tao Yuanming. The hotel has its own lush vegetable garden, with sheep and cattle grazing nearby, creating a truly idyllic atmosphere. The biggest surprise was the horse farm; the horses were incredibly friendly. I used the same methods I use to soothe a puppy, and they eagerly stretched their heads out for petting—it melted my heart. I brought my dog ​​this time, and the little guy had a blast running around on the lawn. I booked a private courtyard room with a hot tub; the room was very spacious, and since it was getting cold, the underfloor heating and air conditioning were excellent. A hot bath was so relaxing. But the best part was the service. They were always incredibly responsive and attentive to every need. I really loved it here and wanted to extend my stay, but unfortunately, it was fully booked. I'm already planning my next trip."
