Best Los Melones Hotels

I have an upcoming booking for this hotel on 11/03-11/09, and so far the experience has been absolutely terrible without even staying yet. My wife, myself and my parents are booked for my sister‘s wedding that has 30+ guests. At first, the Hilton put us in the wrong hotel (family resort instead of adult resort), after claiming they had no rooms available at the adult resort even though they have multiple rooms available through the app, including upgrades. They told my sister- the bride, our 80-year-old father could walk back-and-forth in between resorts if he wanted to be with the family, which is 30+ guests. After multiple emails back-and-forth to several different managers from my sister and I, we finally got moved, never told and ignored via email when asked. I found out after I checked my Hilton app. Furthermore, as a gold member elite status they’re refusing to upgrade my room. They put me in the most basic room available. I have yet to be at one Hilton resort where I have not been upgraded me as a gold elite member. I’ve contacted the hotel multiple times at the email address provided with no response whatsoever. As of this date, they have still failed to respond to me and continue to have me the runaround. They also failed to respond to my sister after trying to get confirmation that all of the guests are in the correct resort. As a gold member elite, I frequent several Hiltons around the world. I am absolutely disgusted with this hotel resort, and I have not even stayed there yet. They deny, refuse, ignore guests. I will be contacting corporate… Jeffrey Cox

It felt more like a 5 star hotel to be honest. Very modern and beautifully designed and decorated. We felt so happy when we arrived and saw how nice it was in real life. The front desk checked us in quickly and were lovely with us and answered all our questions. The room was massive! Spotless and very comfortable beds. Nice bathroom which was also spacious compared to many hotels and the shower worked well. The cleaning ladies came in and kept everything looking great. Asked for an extra towel and it was delivered in minutes. There are pools everywhere you look at this hotel! It's amazing! Never felt crowded and they're all maintained to perfection. The buffet is good quality and we enjoyed the meals. Also loved that it was adult only! So peaceful and relaxing and we wished we'd stayed longer!

We had such a positive experience at this hotel that we decided to book it again for our last night in the Dominican Republic. The resort is peaceful, featuring saltwater pools, private sea access via a ladder, and crystal-clear waters. A special thanks to Elisabeth, who made us feel right at home and handled our requests with great flexibility and positivity. Breakfast is not a buffet but à la carte, with excellent quality. Amazing sunsets! The location is strategic for visiting Dominicus and Bayahibe. We would definitely return if given the opportunity.
