The hotel was nice and the front staff were very attentive. The second day we were there we left for a funeral at 12:00 noon and asked the front desk to please have our room cleaned and fresh towels. We got back to the room at 11:00 PM and no service.

On the positive side, the location is excellent - in a peaceful neighborhood, yet I was in easy walking distance to the Convention Center and lots else, with a centrol location for pretty much wherever you’d like to go, as well as decent parking options.  It is also a lovely historic property full of character.  On the flip side of being old, it seems that every door sticks when you try to open or close it and it is not friendly for those who need accessibility, with stairs here and there you have to lug your suitcase up.  Back on the bright side, the little black cat who hangs out around the place is adorable and sweet and made my day whenever I ran into it.

The hotel facilities are average and the location is not bad. At 200 dollars per night, the price/performance ratio is very poor. This time I encountered a boiler failure, no hot water and no breakfast. What I'm quite satisfied with is that the hotel refunded the full amount, which is kind of a courtesy.

Three people booked a family room for a trip. The room was large enough, but it lacked a large enough table. In addition, the upper bunk bed may not have been designed with central air conditioning in mind. The air outlet is at the head of the bed, which not only blows towards people, but also makes a lot of noise when sleeping at night. Let me talk about the price again. I really admire this agent. He collected 1,500 yuan a night and then went to ******* to order a room for 150 yuan a night. He really has a business mind.

The hotel was clean enough. The service at check in was ok. At night it was very noisy with the person next to us playing loud music banging around and yelling with friends until 3:30. Also, the road was very noisy with cars racing up and down the street. In the morning, the attendant selling breakfast appeared annoyed and didn’t want to engage a minor request for a lemon wedge.
