Location was great and the hotel has an awesome aesthetic that was a perfect fit for our girls' trip. The valet service was very slow so be patient.

The decor was beautiful. I choose this hotel because I always do a pink Xmas at my house, so when I found out about the Quirk Hotel, that was perfect for our Xmas dinner for 14 of us. The staff was very nice BUT, the receiving of our food was poor. Some of us enjoyed our food and some of us didn’t. Food came out cold, the lamb had no seasoning on it, the steaks were not good. The pork tenderloin was delicious and I’ll be back for me. The ravioli pasta was good. When I set down, I let the staff know we wanted separate tickets. Was told no problem, but when the bill came, we were told they couldn’t do that. This was really a problem and they definitely need to fix this. I worked in the food service arena and it is not hard to accommodate customers with this. The Quirk Hotel could be the IT place to go, but they definitely need to work on food service and the actual food!!

The Quirk is such a lovely small hotel in Downtown Richmond. The decorations catch your attention immediately. All that pink and "quirky" style is fun and uplifting. The lobby has a great bar and coffee bar that we enjoyed. The room was very nice, exceptionally clean and met all of our needs. The Hotel is a great location for walking in Richmond. WE will return.

In the morning we left, I could get no hot water for my shower. Valet lost our car keys and took 25 minutes to get our car. Cute decor but flunked on the basics.

By far, best hotel in RVA. Interior is beautifully designed and one is surrounded by fantastic art everywhere. Safe parking and very walkable location to sites of interest. Very fun space that I want to return next RVA trip.

This was the most dysfunctional hotel I have ever stayed at. Starting with check-in that couldn’t happen due to a new “system”. The staff seemed nice at first but they ultimately were completely ineffectual and had no interest in solving very basic hotel problems like a sink that wouldn’t drain, a shower and sink that only had hot or scalding hot water, or a sink tap with algae and rocks in the faucet. The front desk said they would send up engineering but they never showed. At check-in I wasn’t told anything about the prepaid breakfast, check-out time or any of the amenities in the hotel. I was double charged for a drink on the rooftop lounge (charged to both my tab and a family member’s tab) Is it too much to ask for, that front desk staff say “good morning” when you arrive at the desk? Is it too much to expect that the front desk staff ask how my stay went? They were passive aggressive at best. Rude and confrontational at worst. If they sell a prepaid breakfast why doesn’t the cafe staff know what it is or how that works?

Hotel looks great overall. Room was well appointed, and the bed and bed linens were perhaps the most comfortable and high quality that I've ever experienced anywhere worldwide. BUT the next room's water supply in the common wall was so loud I could barely hear my TV hung on the same common wall. AND the guests in nearby rooms were so loud and raucous after 11:00 PM and before 6:00 AM the next morning it sounded like a frat house party. Never again here.

Hotel was notably understaffed. Rooms were tired. Broken things. Limited accessible outlets. Holes in bedsheets and the sheets didn't fit bed-would ultimately wake up touching the mattress directly. Half eaten food/dirty plates sat out all day in the lobby, which is also the restaurant. It's an old building so there is poor sound insulation. I like a hotel with character but this hotel charges way to much given what comes across as poor management. Just because it's an older building does not mean they need to use linens of the same age. You would be much better off booking an airbnb for 1/3 the price.

Beautiful quirky hotel. Be prepared to pay for parking, I believe its $30 a day for their valet. My best friend had her 40th bday party here on the rooftop. The rooftop is beautiful. Bar tenders were great. The king room was very spacious and I think this is the first hotel I've stayed in that I did not hear any outside noise. Over all it was a nice stay.
