We had a wonderful 5-night stay at Panda Hotel. The hotel is very accessible to transportation, restaurants, and nearby shops which made our trip very convenient. The staff were all friendly, polite, and accommodating throughout our stay. We also really appreciated that they allowed us to check in early, especially after a tiring trip. Overall, we had a comfortable and pleasant experience and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel facilities are excellent, and the surrounding transportation is very convenient. The front desk staff are incredibly helpful. It's a very international hotel. The room was spotless and there was no noise at all. For a city like Hong Kong, where space is at a premium, this hotel is a real gem.

This is an older, reputable four-star hotel chain in Hong Kong, and this Tsuen Wan location is the most affordable. I chose it for my island-hopping trip to Hong Kong, finally fulfilling my wish to swim and hike at Half Moon Bay in Sai Kung. I booked a room with either a king or twin beds. On the first night, being a Saturday, there were more tourists, so the hotel didn't have any king rooms left and just pushed two twin beds together, which was a bit tight. On Sunday, I asked to switch rooms, and they accommodated me immediately, but there was no complimentary upgrade; upgrades cost extra. The room was quite small, barely enough space to open two carry-on suitcases. Some of the garden view rooms faced an old, dilapidated gray factory building, which wasn't very appealing. The rooms have been newly renovated, and each comes with an air purifier. If you don't have a converter, there are USB ports by the bed for charging. There's a TV with movie channels, which was a nice bonus. Unfortunately, the bathroom in the king room had a minor leak, but it dried up after the room was cleaned. The cleaning was thorough, and they replenished tissues and toilet paper. They'll change the sheets upon request. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, but you can buy them at Mannings, about a 10-minute walk away. They also don't provide bottled water, but there's a water dispenser in the hallway. Theoretically, tap water in Hong Kong is drinkable, but some buildings have old pipes, so filtering is a good idea. From 11 AM to 5 PM daily, the hotel offers self-serve complimentary drinks at the entrance; the Roselle tea and longan ginger tea were both delicious. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Tai Wo Hau MTR station and about a 20-minute walk from Kwai Hing MTR station, but there are plenty of buses nearby, and the double-decker bus offers great views. In April, the hotel's swimming pool wasn't open yet. The gym is open 24 hours and has some cardio equipment, 1-10kg dumbbells, a weight bench, and yoga mats, along with sweat towels. The hotel has a restaurant and a cafe. The front desk service was a bit average, but the concierge and restaurant staff were very good. There's also a shuttle bus to nearby shopping malls. The 7-Eleven at the entrance is open from 7 AM to 11 PM, which is convenient for buying things. However, the hotel doesn't have a microwave, so you can't heat food when the 7-Eleven is closed. There are many restaurants in the residential area, about a 10-minute walk away, offering choices like cha chaan tengs, beef noodles, and char siu rice, and most stay open late. Check-out is quite early at 11 AM. I called the front desk to request a 12 PM check-out, and they said it would cost an extra HKD 130. After check-out, luggage can be stored for free until midnight that day; after midnight, it's HKD 10 per piece per day. When I went to pick up my luggage, I saw a tour group from mainland China, which gives you an idea of the number of tourists the hotel hosts on weekends. Overall, I would still highly recommend it; it offers excellent value for money in Hong Kong!
The Royal View Hotel is located in Tsuen Wan, overlooking the impressive Tsing Ma and Ting Kai bridges, a few minutes from the Tsuen Wan MTR station. This location offers good access to transportation networks linking the Hong Kong International Airport, Asia World-Expo and Hong Kong Disneyland. A complimentary shuttle bus runs between the hotel, Tsuen Wan and Tsuen Wan West. This Hong Kong hotel features rooms and suites featuring contemporary Chinese design and broadband Internet access, most of which also offer views of the sea and Tsing Ma Bridge. Other rooms look out over the hotel swimming pool and gardens. Recreation and leisure facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, a health club with gym, a sauna, a steam room and Jacuzzis.
Hong Kong Government will impose a ban on single-use plastic products with the first stage set to take effect on 22 April, 2024. Hotel is barred from providing customers with free disposable plastic items such as bottled water, shaving kit and shower cap. To take a further step, disposable plastic water bottles will be replaced with a reusable water bottle in guest rooms, complemented by self-service water dispensers located near the elevator lobby. If necessary, please purchase the regulated products from vending machines at the hotel lobby.

I visited during the holidays, and a deposit wasn't required for check-in, which was great. The front desk staff, a very kind gentleman, even upgraded my room upon arrival, which I really appreciated.
The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the MTR station, but they do offer a shuttle bus service. Be aware that you might have to queue, and it can get quite crowded in the evenings when everyone is heading back to the hotel, so you might not get on the first bus. Tsuen Wan MTR station is about a 30-minute ride to Disneyland, which isn't too far, so it's a good option if you're looking for value for money.
I spent all three days at Disneyland, so I didn't get a chance to use any of the hotel's other facilities. However, the room had a lovely view of the beach, which was a nice bonus.
The room was well-equipped with amenities like toothpaste and toothbrushes. Just remember to bring your own UK-style plug adapter. Overall, I found the hotel to be excellent value for money.
The Rambler Oasis Hotel is situated on the eastern side of Tsing Yi Island less than a 10-minute drive from Tsing Yi MTR station. Hong Kong International Airport is located 30 minutes away by car or MTR.During your leisure time, you can keep up the workout regime at the gym, or take a stroll in the Sky Garden.Experience in the longest 200m outdoor swimming pool in Hong Kong.
TTop_xin2026.04.07
This hotel is quite remote, primarily chosen for its low price, as it's convenient for catching a flight the next day. The special MTR line from Tsing Yi station costs HKD 73 and gets you there in under 30 minutes. However, the service is just average. We checked in at 2 PM, and they had already arranged for us to pick up the key cards from a machine. They promised one large bed but gave us a twin room. The room is 'eco-friendly' with no toiletries, only a broken, integrated shampoo dispenser. The swimming pool is out of service. On the bright side, there are two minibuses downstairs that go to Kwai Fong and Tsing Yi, which is fairly convenient.

Extremely satisfied! We were staying for over ten days, and they were fully booked on weekends. It was impossible to get a room then, so we stayed for five consecutive days, then moved to another place for six days, and finally came back for another five days. Overall, this place offers the best value for money, with excellent service and cleanliness! I will definitely recommend it to my friends from mainland China next time!

This hotel is located in Lai Chi Kok, just a 5-minute walk from Exit B1 of Lai Chi Kok MTR Station (Tsuen Wan Line), or a short walk from the Cheung Sha Wan Road stop if you take Citybus A23 from Chek Lap Kok Airport. If you forget to buy water, there's a vending machine right outside the hotel with a great selection of items at prices similar to convenience stores, and it accepts various payment methods, including Alipay and WeChat Pay.
The lobby immediately greets you with numerous adorable panda plushies. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful; they accommodated my preference for a twin room even though both king and twin rooms were available, and I was assigned to a twin room on the 19th floor. I initially chose a twin room, fearing there wouldn't be enough space for my luggage (which turned out to be an unnecessary worry), as I could easily place it on the second bed. Although the room size listed on the platform is 10.8 square meters, it felt much more spacious in reality, not cramped at all. Even though the window is sealed, it's a floor-to-ceiling window with both sheer and blackout curtains. Waking up the next morning and drawing them open, the sunlight streamed in. Being on a high floor also meant I slept soundly, undisturbed by the noise from the elevated traffic. The biggest advantage was the ample storage space next to the bed and behind the toilet, which was incredibly convenient for my stay, toiletries, and showering. The next morning, I saw many diligent housekeeping staff working hard in the corridor, preparing to clean rooms and dispose of guest waste.
I was in Hong Kong for a concert in Kai Tak this time, so I moved to Ho Man Tin the next day, staying only one night. However, the experience was on par with a five-star hotel. This YX Hotel in Lai Chi Kok will definitely be my top choice for future solo trips to Hong Kong. After checking out the next morning, I left my luggage at the hotel. They locked my bags together and gave me a small card, which I used to retrieve them later that evening. I highly, highly recommend this hotel.
**Minor drawback:** The only slight issue was a communication problem between the hotel and Ctrip. My Ctrip booking included all taxes, but I was still charged an additional HKD 27 for the Hong Kong government tax during check-in. This was a bit of a dampener, but after contacting Ctrip, they refunded the amount.

AAnonymous UserTraveling with family, we chose the family room at this hotel, which had one large and one small bed, enough for 2 adults and 2 children. The room was small but well-appointed, and canned mineral water was provided. The air conditioning was very strong. It's a 5-minute walk from Wan Chai MTR Exit C, an 8-minute walk to catch the tram, a 15-minute walk to the Star Ferry, and a 5-minute walk to the airport bus stop. The transportation is incredibly convenient. If I come to Hong Kong again in the future, I'll definitely consider staying here.
YYas_miniThis was my second time staying at the hotel. And I was glad to see the upgraded an refreshed the towels. The hotel itself and room itself is kept well. The bathroom is clean and tidy. Only the half shower door isn’t very practical and all the water still goes out.
The rain shower was broken in my room.
The bedding was clean and comfy. But only two pillows are provided not 4. One of the towels had orange stains on it .
The cleaning could be better as I found the counter tops still stained with glass or can marks . Clearly showing the counter tops were not wiped down. The floor had hair and there was dirt in some corners.
The downside of this room is that it gets a lot of condensed. So on returning the floor would have moisture and condensation on it. It was just so annoying.
Other than that it’s in a super convenient location.
GGuest UserThis hotel definitely exceeded my expectations! For a price over HKD 1,000, I was expecting a tiny room in Hong Kong, but to my surprise, it was a suite. It had a living room with a sofa, coffee table, and dining table, and the bedroom had a super large bed. Plus, all the details in the bathroom were very clean.
The hotel staff were very nice, and their Mandarin was good. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, where you could order one set meal, and all four I tried were delicious. You could even see parrots flying outside the window while having breakfast.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its convenient location. It's about two bus stops from Admiralty Station (or walkable, really), a 200-meter walk from the Peak Tram Macdonnell Road Station, and within walking distance of Hong Kong Park and Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens. Highly recommend!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel staff were warm and professional. The front desk attendant was particularly helpful; we were a group hoping to stay on the same floor, and he really went out of his way to accommodate us. What truly stands out is finding such a reasonably priced hotel in a place like Hong Kong, where space is at a premium – it's truly a rare find! I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong. Plus, it's conveniently located right next to Tuen Mun MTR Station, which is a terminal station, making it easy to get anywhere. There's also a Light Rail stop nearby, and multiple bus routes just below the MTR station. It's convenient, affordable, and offers great value for money! 👍👍👍
GGuest UserWe had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. My husband and I stayed in one room, while my parents stayed in another.
The bathroom and shower were very clean and comfortable. The view is definitely better on the higher floors — my parents stayed on the 31st floor and had a lovely view, while our room on the 12th floor didn’t have much of a view, but honestly, we were mostly there just to sleep.
There was bottled water in the room upon arrival, but when we asked for more the next day, we were told to get it from the gym. Also, the cone-shaped paper cups in the gym were not very practical — that could be improved. On the positive side, the hotel has a gym for those interested.
The location is very convenient. We used the tram frequently to explore Hong Kong, and it’s very close to the hotel. There is also a shopping mall nearby, plenty of places to eat, and a supermarket right across the street.
The room overall was nice. There was a slight humidity smell, but that seems to be common in Hong Kong. Keeping the air conditioning on helps a lot.
It would be great if the hotel had universal power outlets.
Greetings from Turkey — Turkish guests would definitely enjoy staying at this hotel.
Rruowen118The hotel is a bit far from popular attractions like Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay. A HKD 500 deposit is required upon check-in, and they accept RMB. There's a McDonald's, a 'cha chaan teng' (local cafe), and a convenience store nearby, so food options are pretty convenient. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel; you can take 4 stops to reach Wong Chuk Hang MTR station. Although the room is a bit small, it's very clean. Overall, it's still quite good.
TThe Adventurer number 15My wife and I recently stayed at Hotel Pravo Hong Kong, and we had a fantastic experience.
The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and just a short walk to the MTR and Victoria Harbour. It made exploring Hong Kong very convenient for us as a couple.
Our room was stylish, modern, and very clean. We especially loved the elegant interior design — it felt boutique and intimate, perfect for couples. The bed was extremely comfortable, and after long days of walking around the city, we really appreciated coming back to such a cozy and quiet room.
The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.
Overall, our stay was relaxing and memorable. We would definitely recommend Hotel Pravo to couples looking for a comfortable, well-located, and beautifully designed hotel in Hong Kong. We will surely stay here again on our next visit!
LLuna Blanca Ysmeralda⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a great stay at Venetian Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui! The location is honestly one of the best things about it — it’s right in the center of everything in TST. There are so many food places just outside the building, so finding something to eat was never a problem.
The MTR is also very convenient, only about a 2-minute walk from TST Station Exit D2, which made commuting around Hong Kong super easy. If you’re coming from the airport by bus, you can simply stop at bus stop #14 (Mirador Mansion), which is very close to the hostel.
Another thing we appreciated was the housekeeping. They collect the trash every day, so when we came back our bins were already clean. They also changed our bedsheets and towels even though we didn’t request it, which was a really nice touch.
Just a small tip: they sometimes offer room upgrades when you arrive, but you can always say NO if you want to stick with your budget.
We stayed on the 13th floor, and that floor has a free water refilling station (which the other floors don’t have), so that was a big plus for us.
The only downside is that the elevator in the building can be very slow, especially during busy hours. But overall, the stay was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Great option if you’re looking for a budget place in TST!
KKKingThe hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Prince Edward MTR Station. The lobby is on the third floor. The room size is decent; I could open my 26-inch suitcase flat. The bedding was quite clean and tidy, and the washroom area had a good wet/dry separation. As is common in Hong Kong, disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, and slippers are not provided, so remember to bring your own.
GGuest UserMy teacher mentioned that the location is indeed valuable, and the in-room facilities aren't as bad as I imagined. However, there's a critical flaw: a complete lack of security. There's no secure entrance, or you could even say there's no real door at all. People can just walk in and out of the building freely. When I returned around 11 PM and left around 6 AM, the entrance was always wide open – not even a pretense of security. What's worse, all the sliding doors leading to the rooms upstairs are also unlocked. A random passerby could literally walk all the way up and stand right outside your room door. If you're a woman traveling alone, absolutely do not stay here.
Then there's the dampness, which seems to be an inherent issue with the building's structure. It's not the kind of extreme dampness where water drips, but the moment you walk in, the air feels incredibly stagnant, with poor ventilation. The air conditioner is right above the bed, and since it's still early in the year, the weather isn't too hot yet. I can't imagine how unbearable it would be in the summer.
I was assigned the smallest room on the entire floor, and it honestly felt no different from a prison cell. The bed was right up against the balcony door, making it incredibly noisy – much louder than I expected. I consider myself quite tolerant of noise, but here, it was noisy both inside and outside. When a group of college students stayed, I didn't get any sleep all night.
Unless you truly have no other option, seriously, don't stay here.
