Hampton by Hilton Kunming Nanping Street

Clean hotel but check in at 2nd floor and cars cannot stop directly in front of the hotel, which is quite inconvenient. It’s also a bit of a walk to the old street. Service was just average.

This is my first time to travel to Kunming City and delighted to stay at Hampton Hotel at Nan Ping Street. The hotel is at a great location with convenient access to the old street with plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel is clean and comfortable. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I would like to mention to thank you Devotion and Aiden from the Front Desk who are very helpful to help us to arrange the transportation to the railway station despite a very late request. (10:30 pm) arrangements for the following morning. I definitely will come back and do not hesitate to recommend this hotel to my friends.

I was surprised at how wonderful this hotel was. Fantastic rooms, great service, great beds, great location, great breakfast. Recommended!

Very warm and welcoming environment. The counter and service staff are exceptionally polite and make you feel welcome at all times. Excellent breakfast spread with a good variety. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Old Street and the popular Nanping Road. The only thing to note is that you may need to come down earlier to wait for your personal transport, as there is no designated waiting area at the hotel entrance.

Good clean hotel. Comfortable stay throughout my 5 days stay there. Hotel staff is friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast fare is good. Will book this hotel if visiting Kunming again.

Great hotel but a little costly (during the time I stayed) compared to equivalent hotel eg Atour, Four Point. Great location too but they need to activate the air-conditioner as only heater is available in winter. Unfortunately it was in early Nov and still not cold enough for heaters.
